This is a difficult thing, to choose only one above them all. Some of the ladies I know well, others I only know through CERB but I feel as if I have known them forever. Well the lady who is my CERB Goddess of the day is Lonna Lux. And for the next few days a few Goddesses will be mentioned, I am just posting in the order I saw them, not playing any favourites here :-) She is kinda special to me. I had a hard time understanding what the OP was implying the first time I read this thread. Originally I thought it was some sort of funny or "cute" comment that went over my head...at least that was what I was hoping anyway. After another read I realized it wasn't that funny! I don't have a specific answer to this question, but I'll hazard a guess. First, though, what you are describing are not tax brackets, but rather different ways of classifying employment and the income you get from it. For taxation purposes, a bracket refers to the rate of tax paid on earned income up to certain amounts. In Canada, the tax brackets used to calculate your income tax are as follows: 15% on the first $42,707 of taxable income, + 22% on the next $42,707 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over $42,707 up to $85,414), + 26% on the next $46,992 of taxable income (on the portion of taxable income over $85,414 up to $132,406), + 29% of taxable income over $132,406. Now, of course, deductions operate to reduce the total amount of income earned, which then can have an effect on which tax brackets you fall into. These brackets apply to all earned income, regardless of source. In that way, there is NOT a separate bracket for adult entertainers vs self employed escorts. The same rate of tax will apply. I'm not sure about the designations you use Peachy, but it may have to do with employment status. So, for example, if a stripper gets paid by the club a set amount per shift worked, then she could be considered employed by the club. The money she makes from private dances are essentially tips. An escort, who works for an agency could be considered employed. Her share of each call becomes her "salary". However, she could be considered an independent contractor (self employed). The agency's share of each call, would now be thought of as an expense she pays the agency for services rendered ... Administering calls, setting up appointments, etc. it's probably to her benefit to do it this way, as the agency fee would be deductible from her income. In other words, it would be better for her to characterize herself as self-employed as she would be able to maximize deductions. It would also be to the agency's benefit, otherwise they'd have to do CPP and EI deductions and issue T4 statements (maybe they do, I have no idea) An independent escort is self-employed, running her own independent business. You can still call that business adult entertainer or entertainer. For tax purposes that is irrelevant. The key is whether or not you receive an income (paid on a regular basis to do a job for an employer). If not, you are self-employed. Call the job whatever you like. As a self employed person you maximize your deductions. For example, I'm employed. I can't claim a deduction for the costs of running my car, or for getting to work. But if I'm self-employed, and I need a car to conduct my business, then I can. When I go on a business trip my employer pays the costs and I submit expenses that get reimbursed. If I was self-employed doing the same job, I would deduct those costs from my income. Don't get hung up on the terms .... They are just ways of describing what you do, and, from what I can tell largely irrelevant for tax purposes. Perhaps someone else can add some further insight!

Yes, we might end up saying some similar things to each other at times, and expressing similar sentiments here and there. But there's no possible excuse for having whole paragraphs copied -- word for word -- from another provider's site or ads. I put A LOT of work into my website, and even turned down some well-intentioned offers by a writer friend to help me with it. Everything in there comes from me and who I am. While I feel it is far from perfect, I am still very proud of my content. I can't imagine how angry it would make me to see my words copy-and-pasted somewhere else. I, like a poster above mentioned, would be more upset by my words being stolen than my pictures. Many of we ladies actually value our minds and personalities over our appearance. When you try to steal our personality for your advertising, you offend us very deeply. I am sure that some women simply make errors by not realising how important this is to other providers. But after being told once, that should set it straight. I've seen ads and sites written by girls who obviously don't have the best handle on writing. But they are STILL able to portray their own personalities well enough that I think they sound like wonderful, enticing companions. You do not have to be a brilliant writer to write your content. But you do have to be honest to show your personality. The bait and switch makes no sense to me. How do you expect to maintain regular clients when you are not at all what they were expecting when they booked you? I just don't get it.

IT's plain and simple if you did not make it yourself, write it yourself, or pay for it yourself.... IT'S THEFT no ifs and or buts about it. Would you want to do business of such a personal and intimate nature with someone who has no issue stealing someone else's words to describe themselves. It's just as bad as usin stolen photos and it's WRONG. What makes this matter even worse was that it's happened not only from one provider to another but that the offender is actualy a member of CERB, stealing is bad enough, stealing from one of your own sisters is inexcusable. The fact that the THIEF has been confronted with this issue previously yet continues to steal from the other shows just how low this provider can go and just how little she cares about anyone else. To use someone else's words to describe yourself is like wearing a mask, an ugly mask, shame on the THIEF. The SECRET is out and VICTORY will be had when the offender is exposed. I'm sure the MODS are on it and we don't want to taint CERB with more negativity than is already abound with such low life theft occurring. Just because it doesn't happen here on CERB doesn't mean it doesn't affect the male and female members in good standing of this community. Shame on the thief for stealing from your sister, Shame on the thief for being deceptive and lying to your clients and potential clients, shame on you for disrupting our good and kind community, Shame on you... I completely agree, it's the exact same, because your words and photos are what you are using to attract your clients, and one being fake is just as bad as the other. I've had it happen a few times on this very site, where a tag line I'll use in my ads and shoutbox posts starts being used by another girl. It's infuriating, because then I can't use it anymore, and because I wrote it. Not the other girl. It's theft, and it effects the other girls business too, because the one who's words are stolen doesn't want people to think *she* stole the words, so she'll likely stop using them.
