... well it is, if you offer your CERB ID as verification to get around identifying your more personal details and there is little or no posting history! A recent thread by VictoriaJolie about posting history being one tool providers use to get to know a client inspired this post, and since this one is more general in nature, I've decided to post it here. As a client, we usually know much more about the lady we are planning to see, until we make an actual booking and provide the information she requires in consideration of our request to see her. I am in amazement of the effort and diligence most, and especially the well-respected, SPs/MAs go through in screening and verification. With a modicum of information and references, they must decide if they will grant your request for a meeting, based on a myriad of factors and a 'gut feel' about you, the person, never having met prior, and not knowing too much else besides these few bits that they ask for in their ads or on their websites. I believe that the majority of clients on the board are sophisticated and wise to the ways of treating the ladies with respect, having read widely among the various forums, but there are some bad apples out there. How is a provider to know from whom she is getting an inquiry or booking? You will fare much better if you give her signs and assurances of your good intentions early on and by playing by her rules. Don't forget, she is sharing her most intimate self with an almost complete stranger and is entrusting you to do your part in that bargain. We both want the same things, but providers, beyond needing to feel safe, of course want that encounter to be in an environment where they themselves are comfortable to give you the best time of all - and so you should care, too. Contacting a lady for a booking and showing with every action and word (rudeness, brashness, ignorance, laziness, etc.) that you haven't bothered to check her website or ad post is the first red flag to the lady that there may be things she doesn't know that would worry her if she did, and this puts her on guard with you right from the start - generally not the best way to initiate a dialogue. Taking care to consider all the points of etiquette and following her preferred method of setting up an appointment will make the lady's life much easier and will assure her that you take her concerns for safety and peace of mind to heart. It will be like magically becoming a lottery winner ;-), meaning that she will appreciate when you meet that you had already established yourself from the start as a respectful and diligent client worthy of her time. I know it is not everyone's wish or goal to become an active and prolific poster, but it does help the ladies get a glimpse of the person behind a handle. Having no posts doesn't. Just think of the ways in which you select the lady of your choice - maybe by her beautifully written ad, her many glowing recommendations by other clients, her gorgeous photo album, or the well-crafted website that she spent so much time building. There are other ways to distinguish yourself and get a good or even high standing besides that, of course. Which route you choose to take is yours to decide ... but giving her the comfort level about you - in one way or another, making her feel like you respect her wishes and her need to feel safe and at ease, will put you miles ahead right from the start. And that is likely to reap significant good will on her part and generally, IMHO, yield to better client-provider relations! Pun absolutely intended! ;) A #nobrainer? I think so! :D FR P.S. That would be my main concern. Here at home you can learn the lay of the land, recognize most circumstances, and have a better chance of figuring out whether someone wants to be doing what they're doing. When you're visiting somewhere else briefly, there's much less chance to fully recognize and grasp the complexities of such a delicate situation so prone to abuse and coercion. And on the Russia tangent: that place is deeply, institutionally criminal and corrupt. Plus, lots and lots of people there are terribly desperate. I'm not sure I'd trust anything I saw or heard there. Third-world isn't that far off, sort of like Greece.

The last 36 hours have sucked pretty hard. Buried an uncle yesterday morning. Elderly dad had a heart attack 6 AM today, hospitalized. A cousin who's been in end stage w/bladder and lung cancer all spring is today at death's door, she will be second cousin consumed by cancer this year.

Yeah, I get that. However, there running out of condoms is no big deal, the providing of services without a condom is common place, several STDs are known to not be even slowed down by the use of condoms and they do fail. Given that there is pretty much a 100% chance that one or more STDs are present, we each need to take responsibility for our own health and to me it's simply not worth the risk. We are talking about a Country were a loving "couple" will decide to be monogamous, get tested, yet abstain until the lab results come back :) Several of my friends did this. Strange (to us, not them) but true!

Number one she's investing in her business and I think this is beneficial to the client. It shows that she is accountable and a local resident. It seems that with so much competition there are an awful lot of women coming to Ottawa for short visits and competing at cutthroat prices and I'm not sure I'd be comfortable seeing them from both a health and safety point of view. Some I would suspect of doing drugs or being coerced. I think some form of regulation makes for better stability, and could be self regulating or the government will eventually step in.

The only issue I have with some of the countries is that some of these ladies that you are seeing are not always there by choice. A lot of trafficking goes on in these 3rd world countries where women are made to perform these services. Research is key In that being said trafficking is also done in the states and in Canada either way do your homework

I'd just find a nice hotel in a major Canadian city (right off the top of my head Toronto and Ottawa come to mind) and book encounters with ladies I've met, or would like to meet. Yahoo breach puts users of other sites at risk Thu Jul 12, 2012 2:21pm EDT By Jim Finkle BOSTON (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc reported the theft of some 400,000 user names and passwords to access websites including its own, saying that hackers had taken advantage of a security vulnerability in its computer systems. The security firm Rapid7 said a data file published on the Web contained logins and cleartext passwords for Yahoo as well as several other Internet services, including Google Inc's Gmail and AOL as well as Microsoft Corp's Hotmail, MSN and Live sites. "It's way bigger than Yahoo," said Rapid7 researcher Marcus Carey. "We can assume that tens of thousands of people on services outside of Yahoo could be compromised." Yahoo apologized for the breach in a written statement, responding to the latest piece of bad news for a company that has lost two chief executives in a year and is struggling to revive stalled revenue growth. Chairman Alfred Amoroso acknowledged that Yahoo had experienced a "tumultuous" year at its annual shareholder meeting on Thursday morning. Interim CEO Ross Levinsohn told attendees he was optimistic about the company's progress. Yahoo spokeswoman Dana Lengkeek did not respond to a request asking her to identify the companies whose credentials were stolen. Officials with Google, AOL and Microsoft could not immediately be reached for comment. Yahoo did not disclose how many passwords were valid or say how many of the stolen logins were for Yahoo's sites. Lengkeek said "an older file" had been stolen from Yahoo Contributor Network, an Internet publishing service that Yahoo purchased about two years ago. It helps writers, photographers and videographers to sell their work over the Web. "We are fixing the vulnerability that led to the disclosure of this data, changing the passwords of the affected Yahoo! users and notifying the companies whose users accounts may have been compromised," she said. The theft follows a breach reported last month by the business networking service LinkedIn, which resulted in the release of some 6.4 million member passwords.

And while your at it, why not suggest she join CERB.
