I won't lie but 2014 has been been one of my worst year however I am greatful to have so many friends around and clients that care about me in those difficult times.i have learn and growned Thank you to all ladies in this industry that believe in supporting each other with respect to our different view rules and differences and the ones that are truthful I have been extremely deceived to find this year people close to me that were so manipulative and fake..in one way to see their true color in difficult time is a blessing I so greatful to have met wonderful men and woman in this industry that I value so much...thank you! It was a very busy evening at home with many friends, neighbour's, co-workers and clients of mine and my wife's and children coming by our home to help ring in the new year. While people came and went all evening a group of about 30 of us raised a glass of champagne at midnight to welcome 2015. It's now 2:45am in St. John's and the last of our guests have left with me driving a carload home (one of the benefits of not drinking). I thought before I signed off for the evening I would share a New Years Picture of the city of St. John's that I took from Signal Hill while i was out driving people home. I give direct each year. This year I was secret Santa to 3 young kids I will never meet. Their mom that I hardly know left her abusive husband and had nothing. I paid rent, car insurance, food and gave enough so she can have Christmas with her kids. Another very dear friend of mine fell on some real hard times and almost lost his rental apartment. I went into the bank with him and paid off 3 of 4 of his credit cards and paid his car insurance. He managed to keep his home. I am truly blessed to be able to do this. There have been many years in my life where I could have used a hand and never got one. So now that I have it I do good as much as I can. And I do good not just at Christmas. I do it because I love to help others.

In these nearing end days for me, these two words to me mean the same. I wi do everything possible to stretch out my final days with grace and dignity AND FUN! Also 25 year old Single Malt!!

A quiet evening at home! Nothing better. Will have yummy snacks later (shrimp, scallops, lots of appetizers!!), and gonna have a few drinks :) Canada vs. USA on right now, then who knows? My mother's poetry arrived! Item number something-or-other on the list of items that are to pass to me from my parent's estate is "Mom's Poetry". Her genealogy papers go to a sister-in-law. The poetry to me. Since August, I've been making inquiries and no one seemed to know anything. One of my brothers is fundamentally upset when anything from the family leaves the country i.e goes to Canada. Me suspicion was that he and the aforementioned sister-in-law were hiding them. Lo and behold, said brother sent me a text out of the blue saying the files had been found and were on their way. Now two cartons of files are sitting there staring at me. They cover a long period including the last notebook she worked with right at the end. It is very moving to read her poetic observations as she commented during her increasingly shorter, more widely spaced periods of lucidity. There is much comfort in hearing her voice again. That's my highlight for the day. And for many days to come.

I always start my resolutions on Christmas Day, get a bit of a jump start. Lost three pounds already. Clean and sober for fifteen years now but it is still a one day at a time thing. FUKN hard at this time of year...especially with my boozer sister telling me "Come on, one drink won't hurt."

On the spur of the moment I went to Paradis Spa and saw Sylvia Star. I had seen her website and her pictures. I had always wanted to see her but my schedule and hers never seemed to mesh. Well tonight the stars aligned and I managed to finally meet her. First thing I will say is that her pictures do not do her justice. This lady is 1,000 times more beautiful in person. And that was just the first impression. As always I shall leave the private details private but suffice to say she is incredibly beautiful, has a soft touch and is just one incredibly and oh so sexy lovely lady. She is one lady I hope to see again very soon. Only next time I will spend a lot more time with her.

What is everyone doing for New Year's Eve Me, after an overall bad two years I'm spending a quiet evening home alone, no family. Looking forward to the end of this year and 2015 arriving My dinner, homemade beef stroganoff over noodles washed down with a beer and followed by apple crisp I'll spend the afternoon and evening watching movies already recorded on my PVR I know, I'm boring LOL RG

For now 10 years in a row a friend of mine and I exchange our new years resolutions and are accomplishments of that year based on that years resolutions. We keep them each year and haul them out once a year. Its very interesting looking back on what was important or deemed to be a problem years ago that was either solved or just faded away. The two of us have been friends for over 20 some odd years. Years go by where we never seen one another even though we live in the same city. She has been married a few times and divorced a few times and had children during those years. I have been married to many times and divorced to many times. Her and I have never been intimate and never would be. But we have formed a lifetime bond. She is the first person I would call if I need help or advice or a kick in the butt and I am the same to her. We exchange emails and now txt messages daily. We are truly blessed to have each other.

Happy New Year to all. May 2015 bring us all health, happiness and pleasure.

There is a big homeless shelter in Winnipeg that some of us on the other board go to at Christmas. We serve a Christmas dinner to the less fortunate, and donate money and supplies for the meal. It is much more personal and you feel like you are really helping someone when you actually deal with them face to face.

My contribution to this is going to run on a bit. Apologies in advance. I have a Keurig, the 1.0 version, and love it. It makes exactly one cup of coffee just the way I like it. I am the only person at my house that drinks coffee. It has always been this way. Over the years I've tried every variation on how to make "one" coffee. Grinding my own beans. Instant. Buying ground coffee and using filters and French Presses. All of this took either too much work, was too messy, and/or resulted in too much coffee that ended up being tossed. A couple of years ago the place where we holiday in the summer changed out their Mr. Coffee for a Keurig for their morning free cup of coffee. Tried it. Loved it. Got one for my birthday and have been enjoying it since. I tried a whole lot of different brands and types of coffee before settling on a "light" and a "dark" coffee for daily use. Now, I stumble into the kitchen after I wake up and 98 seconds later walk out with my opening shot of caffeine. Several people have commented they didn't care for the taste. IMHO they didn't try the right coffee. As with everything else, a little experimentation is good for finding the right one. For that reason, I shy away from Costco's 100 pak. That's not a purchase. That's a commitment! Keurig 2.0. Keurig's patent on K-cups ran out in 2012. As others have noted, the money is not in selling the machines. It's in the cups. With 2.0, they introduced technology to "recognize" the cup. I think they are using RFID. The claim is that this allows them to adjust the brew process to the specific coffee. Maybe so. More importantly, it allows them to reject non-Keurig cups. If monopolies bother you, move along, I guess. K-cups are not recyclable. Yet. If this is an issue, then move along, too. But if your major issue is one very nice cup of coffee... this works.

I never make new years resolutions but the spirit grace and courage of theliquor has made me think that a fitting resolution for me would be to try and approach my life in the new year with the spirit he shows every day. CMJ parties are great! I attended the Christmas party last Friday and had a blast. Had massages with 6 girls spread out over 8 hours. Felt like I was 18 again. Before the first party I attended, I was initially concerned that I might meet someone I know, but honestly it is not very likely. Even so, I don't think for one second that anyone would say anything if they did see you. Hell, I'd befriend them even more and chat them up. Gwen is on to something with the speed dating thing. I'd be down to pay a fee for a few short mini-dates in one night. I know CMJ already offers introductions, duos and trifectas (I even pulled off a quadfecta on Friday), but the schedule can be tough to match sometimes. It might be cool to have a night where you can actually have some kind of intro with say, 8 different ladies of your choice. But until then, at least we get some social time at the parties and, like I did, you can see several in one night. Also, the shows are quite amazing. Btw guys, Gwen is a real hottie! I met her for the first time at the party. There are just so many things about her that are attractive. It's impressive. I have not yet had the privilege of a massage with her, but look forward to it in the new year.

The request I get the most is stockings. I guess that's not even considered an outfit. lol I don't mind if it's a dress, stockings, skirt, etc but won't buy something upon request if I know I will never wear it again. It's surprisingly not a big deal. Anyone you meet there that you might know is attending for the same reason, so no real risk. Talking to other members is actually fun/useful because you can compare notes/stories on the hostesses! The parties are pretty casual/lots of fun and a great way to meet new hostesses. btw, CMJ speed dating would be great!

I totally agree with Someguy's reco about Dannika. I have visited her several time since she gone Indie.
