3 pointsFrom the flip side, I have had gentleman travel from another province to see me and as far away as coming from South Africa (HUGE thanks on that one) on a few occasions to make an encounter happen - anything is possible if you really want to spend time with someone....

3 pointsSpas are better. Way better. IMHO... So, the downside first: you don't have the choice that a SC gives you. You can't just walk in and take your pick of twenty or fifty people, or sit down and wait to see what catches your eye. Some folks visit spas and pick one of the available MAs; other folks decide who they want to see and go to see that person when she's working (CMJ doesn't do walk-ins, so you'd be better off doing a little research in advance). Now, the good stuff... if you're not comfortable in the open setting of a SC, you'll probably find spas far better. You'll almost never set eyes on another client; at CMJ you may well not see anyone except the lady you're visiting, and if you do it'll be one of the other ladies. You get someone's undivided attention for whatever length of time you choose, and you know how long and what it'll cost you up front; there's none of this "OK, one more song" business, or having to count the damn things. It's much easier to get to know the ladies, because they're not trying to hustle you for a dance while you're talking to them. And you will have... more fun. A lot more fun. In conclusion: what Claire said :)

3 pointsI would be sorta like that Robin Hood guy with a little tweak. I would rob from the rich !!! and after buying some beer and wine would spend the rest on my Cerb and Twitter lady friends. :) Ya maybe that doesn't count as a superhero ?!?! ;)

2 pointsPersonally speaking, you could not ask for a more fabulous partner than Alexxandria, Loneskater! You two will be a very solid team! and I like to thank Alexxandria for stepping up to the plate, for assisting in organizing the past social, as well, this one coming up. I tip my hat to Mistert for his dedication, time, efforts organizing the past socials, all of you people are pillars of this community. So thanks :)

2 pointsGo to one of CMJ's parties - maybe the best of both worlds? You can chat easily with lots of ladies and then spend private time with the one(s) you like best.

2 pointsWhen you're worried and stressed out, you are only causing resistance in making it worse with what you really want. I firmly believe in the law of attraction. The vibes you send out to the universe is what it will send back to you. Courtesy of Abraham Hicks. It has taken me a long time to change my patterns of thinking especially with stress. I've made some very big life changes and for the better and also in changing how I approach certain people, situations or events. In addition to this, my own thoughts which is the most important. I now catch myself if I find myself using the words, "can't", "don't", "not" "want", "I need", "I wish I could", "but" and rephrase the way I speak and think. I also notice people interact with me differently now. Complete strangers I pass in the store or a store clerk I see at the grocery store every week whose lack customer service skills in the past have now become more engaging. Nothing is perfect and life will always cause emotional turmoil, worry and stress and while you can't control certain people, events or any sort of life crisis, you will ALWAYS have the ability to control how YOU feel.

2 pointsLOL Claire!!! yes I agree with her, but also CMJ is not a strip joint, its MUCH better. I used to go to strip joints all the time, and would spend the same amount of money as if I were to see someone here. I still go to the strip joint on a rare occasion, but I prefer seeing ladies from here MUCH better :)

2 pointsI am keeping my fingers crossed that I can finally attend a social...hopefully this one A question, for us living a ways away, how would you like us to pay in advance, email money transfer, money order mailed???...some other way Thanks RG

2 pointsMy mom is my highlight of today ... Her ability to make me feel relaxed, confident, is like I get extra energy after talking to her. Even when I sometimes don't remember and I feel like she couldn't have chosen a worse time to call I end up feeling glad and grateful she called. Moms are the best!!!

2 pointsPiano8950, your post is very moving and powerful, thank you for sharing this. Berlin, you are right, muslims are the first victims of terrorism here. There are many other massacres, just like the one you mention, that are nearly overlooked by the media. Unfortunately this happens often. But denouncing one thing does not mean that we agree with another shocking thing like this massacre, and that we cannot talk about it. We can. I think that when we have reached the point that we see a drawing as the cause of a terrorist act, there is a serious issue. What shall we do of all this? Very very complex. France has a history of colionalism wit north-africa (I know, I am the product of it, mixed race). At the end of the eighties, those terrorist attacks started in small villages in Algeria, killing entire families. So so so complex. All this is not only about Charlie Hebdo.

1 pointGood evening everyone! Alexxandria and I would like to thank all who showed such early enthusiasm for the spring social. We ended up posting ticket prices last night as many were ready to get theirs. That being said, VIP tickets are going quickly. We have already sold 12 and I am awaiting e-transfers for 2 more tickets. All ladies so far!!! Hint hint gents!!! If you are planning on using the limo, please get ur tickets soonest as there are only 24 seats. Once full we would only book another limo if there was enough interest to fill it. Also a reminder that paying for your ticket is what reserves your spot. We wouldn't want to miss anyone who posted already that they want to attend. We can hold spots for a bit if there are special circumstances, however we got burned in the past holding spots till last minute so unfortunately we can't do that. Remember the sooner we know our budget, the better your social will be! Again thank you all for the amazing response!

1 pointIt depends on the source of stress: if it's work related then a visit to the family doc to get a few days off help a lot ;) For other sources of stress, I just do my best and accept the outcome.

1 pointIts very difficult to do ribs on a gas BBQ. You need smoke and slow cooking to achieve what Jabba is looking for. Get a Weber charcoal grill or a Kamado grill if you can spend a few more dollars. Try either of these and a gas grill is just going to sit there unless you need a sock dryer. Keep it simple too. Find a rib rub recipe and try that out and adjust to your taste. Keep the sauce simple too with as few ingredients as possible to get your taste. Ribs need to cook about 4-6 hours anyway and at a low temperature and they basically just sit in the grill. No more difficult than baking a cake in terms of dealing with the oven. You can serve dry with salt and pepper if required or with sauce on the side. Brushing on sauce to coat them is an optional way to make them but not really the way BBQ is done. NO CEDAR! Save that for storing cigars. Here's a nice place to start some research. http://www.saveur.com/article/Recipes/Kansas-City-Style-Spareribs-with-Barbecue-Sauce Good luck with it.

1 pointThank you Phaedrus and Ragnaglar for giving elements to help us understand Charlie Hebdo. No, this satirical magazine is not racist, quite the opposite - as Phaedrus explained. A caricature is a point of view/criticism expressed in image, instead of words. It is a way to invite us to think about something specific. Indeed, you have to live or have lived in France to understand this magazine. I did. When you stop at Charlie Hebdo's caricatures and analyse them, you realise that a lot is "said" by what is shown. It is not about a drawing made to offense or shock people. It is made to create a shock to make us think... by making us laugh at the same time! Only then can we understand that Charlie Hebdo is not against the idea/concept of god but, to the contrary, criticizes the people who hurt these important concepts of our society. I doubt that everybody who worked/works at Charlie Hebdo is agnostic or atheists... I was in France that day, wondering why there were issues in the metro, trying to get to the airport. It is only when I arrived home the day after that I heard about the news. I then understood the chaos of Wednesday, January, 7th. 2015. It was a shock to me. Some of the people killed, like Cabu, had started their career drawing for children. We (French people) grew up with them. Freedom of speech is a complex concept, but nobody should be killed for what they say/draw because this is the beginning of intimidation, terror etc... And France is a country with a love for words, free expression and debates. It is deeply engraved in our culture. This won't change and I am proud of it.

1 pointDon't drink pop or juice! Drink two a day, and that is all your body needs for sugar (aka carbohydrates, aka energy) per day. The remaining energy that you would derive from any food you consume will be stored as fat, waiting until it is needed. Your body will always choose the easy sources of sugar, instead of breaking down fat to source the energy requirements that it needs. But beware. If you find yourself getting easily irritated, this can usually be due a low blood sugar levels. Eat a piece of fruit, which also has high sugar contents, but also other beneficial things such as fibre and vitamins, and your mood should improve :-)

1 pointI think this thread is kinda sweet, and funny too! I did not get married, I am back in school for the moment. I took a year off to recover from some health issues, and after some much needed healing, decided to go back to school to complete my degree. I miss all the lovely moments I was able to share with you awesome people, and miss all the amazing women in this community also. I have decided to bring back the Sweetest Massages in May, when I am done with my schooling. I am eagerly anticipating reconnecting with all you amazing people and meeting the new members of our community also... Please feel free to email me at [email protected] if you would like to be notified of my return, thinking of doing a pop-up or two before I decide if I will be independent again, or work from one the amazing spas we are so lucky to have here in the capital. Big hugs to y'all, miss you lots, looking forward to seeing you soon! Bethany Xoxox

1 pointAre we not mentioning movies? Headhunters was fun as was The Caller (although I think they took it off for some reason). American Horror Story is great as well as Breaking Bad.

1 pointIt's possible, as others have suggested, that the decrease in posts is related to C-36 and the new system on Cerb/Lyla but as I remember it over the years, the site as always been much quieter over the holidays. A lot of people should be back to work on Monday and kids back to school and the routine should kick back in in no time again.

1 pointUgg to all this new agenda. I guess we are all taking chances , ladies and gents. Open the door and ask questions later. No sense to that at all, however we may be there. Good news to me is the dust will settle soon as police in ever province are laughing this bill down the street. Good news for me as I have a short street!

1 pointI have learned that a lot of amazing Men and Women participate in the sex work industry and they demonstrate better morals and ethics than most of the general community that look down their noses at them. Really that should not have surprised me.

1 pointThank you so much for this thread. Very wise words, and it really is true. I have learnt from Cerb to reach out to others. I have always worked alone. Even if working with an agency, I still kept to myself. It wasn't that I was shy, but more that I really didn't trust others. There were too many trouble makers, shit disturbers and those out to take from you what you have. Here, however, I have made some really good friends. People that want to help, not because they want something in return, but they genuinely want to help you. I have had sp's contact me for no reason, but to say hi, if you ever need any help, I am here for you. Not that I was in crisis, but that they see that I was new, and they wanted to make sure I was welcome. When working in this industry, those that do not work in it really don't understand. They think they do, but really they don't. Here, I have found sp's and hobbyists that have brought information to my attention, that I would never have thought of myself. The perspective of another sp. Also, the perspective of another hobbyist. This alone is so valuable. I am grateful for cerb. Not specifically as an advertising site. I can get that anywhere. Even as a recommendation site, well, that helps, but in reality, even without the recommendations or the advertisements, what I get from here is a sense I have a whole country that is routing for me, is watching my back, loves me and treats me with respect. Wow, and I don't even have to pay anything for this. I have become the provider I want to be. I have been able to showcase my talents, ideas, thoughts, silly stuff and of course the serious stuff. Thank you to everyone that makes this site such a great commodity. It is my resource, my inspiration, my desire to better myself. I am blessed to be here and I thank everyone. xoxo
