So after much research, I made the decision and contacted a local masseuse. We began chatting which led to her sharing a more recent site than I had originally found, where I noticed she had a breast augmentation done. At this point, she is waiting on me to discuss the details of our first session but I can't help but feel like she's not the person I thought I was messaging. SO...I'm just wondering what the proper etiquette is? Do I even say anything or just not reply? I feel bad to be honest. I just found her much more attractive before. I miss The Fax ; been going there since the early 80's ; it's my oasis in the middle of cold boring Ottawa, I'm so grateful to all the beautiful young ladies who have been so kind to me over the years. I love hanging around out front on the sunny sidewalk on a spring day , sometimes a dancer will show up and join you for a smoke , they looks nice in their street clothes too. Remember the roast beef Fridays ? omg that was a good meal, you've got big screens, cold beer, air conditioning on a hot day, and lots of gorgeous girls running around in skimpy outfits, not the mention the staff there , to all the staff over the years I would just like to say THANK-YOU !! and I hope The Fax will continue , it's the best place in Ottawa !

I tend to agree with @newfy on the mask issue.... I don't think it's a deal breaker for me to have to wear a mask. Masks worn by both people in an enclosed space when they're clearly less than 2 m apart are likely a good idea. At my dentist's the staff are all wearing both masks and face shields. Most of the research on mask effectiveness hasn't addressed when in a close proximity situation like during a massage. I can only imagine that RMTs require mask wearing for all clients and for themselves. There's a lot about this virus that we still don't know. I don't imagine the direction you're facing makes a critical difference in the spread of droplets..... they're an aerosol. I was out walking in Westboro the other day, unmasked, and I could smell the smokers coming down the sidewalk towards me almost half a block away..... while greatly dispersed, the smoke is essentially aerosol particles: add to that situation proximity, still air, less dispersion then masks seem a wise move to enjoy what is essentially a luxury. Works for me. Their concerns over access to healthcare and possible eligibility to government support programs is a different concern. I've been to this spa during the covid situation (maybe last June? - don't remember) - I will look to find a way to be part of the solution to this problem rather than part of the solution.

WHO: Adults (18+) of ANY GENDER who have worked in any of the followings sectors of the sex industry (escorting, camming, pornography or bdsm) at least 5 times in the past year in TORONTO or OTTAWA AND who have a disability/impairment or chronic illness or condition. You do not have to identify as disabled or consider your condition a disability to be eligible. e.g. physical (MS, ALS, spinal injuries, amputations, etc), sensory (blind, deaf etc), learning (dyslexia, ADD/ADHD etc), psychiatric (depression, anxiety, personality disorders etc), neurological (autism spectrum), or other impairments such as HIV or chronic illness/pain. WHY: Sex workers with disabilities, chronic illnesses and pain are so often ignored in studies of sexual labour, and sometimes, our illnesses are leveraged against us to support laws which criminalize sex work. It is important that relevant policy makers, politicians, health care professionals and so on, have accurate information about the experiences of those with disabilities who participate in sex work and the ways in which current legislation impacts our labour and our bodies.
