  1. Finished shoveling snow. enjoying a nice cup of tea, watching some back episodes of Breaking Bad, and relaxing.
  2. It all depends on what you are looking for. But it seems to me that if you are seeking a degree of intimacy ... the GFE ... then a degree of emotional attachment is exactly what you should be hoping for. Some ladies are extremely good at creating this experience, and this, it seems to me, is what generates repeat customers. When, as clients, we talk about ATFs, it is precisely because of this sort of emotional connection. How far that emotional connection goes, how "real" it is, etc., etc., is always open for debate and discussion. Sometimes it goes too far, and a lady may actually seek to end the relationship with a client because it is too uncomfortable. Is that the lady's fault, for providing too good an emotional connection, or the client's for not understanding the boundaries of that emotional situation? In most instances, I think it is the client's, but sometimes there is shared responsibility. some Boxing Day musings. Porthos
  3. Yes ... happy belated birthday. Xmas and birthday at the same time. Seems to me that warrants a duo. Porthos
  4. I try to avoid New Year's resolutions. I have enough problems, without setting myself up for failure. This year, though, i could resolve to drink more, and have more encounters with CERB ladies. That would be easier to keep than the resolutions about going to the bloody gym. Porthos
  5. Could you post your "easy beginner routine", or a link to something similar. I'm sure many of us would be grateful. I don't really diet, but I do eat fairly well (in a healthy sense). But more regular exercise is what I need. Porthos
  6. I agree Mr. Green ... you will definitely be missed, but a cool way to end an awesome run. Take care, and I hope life treats you extremely well. Porthos
  7. Indeed ... do your research, and stick with ladies that have good reputations. In over 15 years in this hobby I've never had an experience like the ones you refer to. Perhaps I've been lucky, but I'd like to think I've been smart and selective. Porthos
  8. You may very well be right ... although I'm not completely convinced. I'm not sure the cat burglar analogy works completely, because that situation does not involve a consensual transaction. In the nordic model you are criminalizing one half of a transaction; the purchase, but not the sale. If doing that puts the seller at risk then that clearly is a matter of concern and might fall afoul of the Bedford principles. Historically the court doesn't like doing things indirectly rather than directly. In other words, if criminalizing prostitution wouldn't pass charter scrutiny, why should criminalizing "parts" of it, when the intention of that partial criminalization is to prohibit the whole thing. This is, it seems to me, at the heart of the Bedford decision. The problem with the burglar analogy, is that you criminalize burglary, there aren't people out there actually wanting to be burgled. You criminalize the purchase of sex, there are people wanting to sell that service. I haven't had my morning coffee, so none of that might make any sense whatsoever. Cheers, Porthos
  9. Have a great Birthday. Hope you have much fun and happiness. Porthos
  10. Happy Birthday ... hope you are having a wonderful day. Porthos
  11. glad to hear you are ok. Take care of yourself. Hope you are out of hospital soon. Porthos
  12. +1 on what everyone else has said. Be respectful, act like a gentleman, and make sure hygiene is taken care of. The rest will be golden. Porthos
  13. The worry with the 1 year delay is that the conservatives will feel the need to bring in some very bad, regressive legislation in order to shore up support in their base. With an election in the reasonably near future, and having taken a lot of body blows on the senate scandal, they are looking for a wedge issue that they can mobilize their base on, shore up support, and put the other parties on the defensive. 14. Happy Birthday .. hope it is a fabulous day.
  15. Yes, this is definitely the fly in the ointment. For anyone who watched the arguments before the supreme court, it was really clear how the government arguments were so logically inconsistent, cobbled together and really had no integrity. So, definitely some good news. Porthos
  16. My staff gave me a truck load of baked goodies for an Xmas gift. Nice!!
  17. I don't know how these things work, but I also rather suspect that you are NOT in their system. To get in the system you need to actually be issued a ticket or charged with something. If he just gave you a warning and sent you on your way you are likely not in the system. The system would like crash if every car stopped by the police was actually entered and tracked. I rather suspect they were checking you out because a) you were coming from a club b) you might have been drinking and c) you are from Ontario. just my thoughts, but someone might know better and i'd be interested in finding out. 18. romper room, the friendly giant ... those things for sure. And of course things like the Apollo missions and the moon landings. I grew up in Ottawa with three channels. CBC, CTV, and french CBC. I remember how excited everyone was when Global went on the air. We watched it all night, even though there was absolutely nothing worthwhile on. The novelty of it made watching worthwhile. Porthos
