6 pointsI believe you can never say thank you to many times and when good things come our way ,one can never be to grateful. So this is my way of thanking all of you, especially this site for giving me the chance to bloom,be accepted, recognized, and befriended.I am so glad to have become a member of this community and grateful for it's existence. To some of the ladies who have been ever so gracious to me by offering their advice, friendship, and support,I am forever in your debt,to the men I have met through this site, thank you for making me feel sexy. Although we may all disagree from time to time and get our backs up here and there ,it is wonderful to have a place where we can express ourselves openly, candidly about any topic. There is humor, intelligence and graciuosness abound here but most importantly the freedom to be open about sex.FINALLY!Lets always pay it forward.Thank you

3 pointsIn light of recent events, I feel compelled to write this message. There has been much talk lately about the increasing prevalence of negative commentary and in-fighting amongst members of Cerb. My history as a hobbyist dates back approximately thirteen years. In that time I've had the pleasure of meeting many incredible ladies, as well as corresponding with many like minded individuals through forums such as these. I have spent a fair amount of time in cities such as Toronto, and as such I am also a member of other boards. Without going into specifics, I can tell you that they have had, and some continue to have their share of problems. In part, that is why I chose to distance myself from them and join the respected Cerb community. Lately, I have begun to feel that those difficulties endemic to other boards have slowly filtered into our own. I would hope that we as a community will take it upon ourselves not to allow this to transpire. Some of the most endearing features of Cerb include acceptance, non-jugement, unity and community. In some sense of the word, Cerb may even be considered a loosely knit family of sorts, albeit (at times) a bit dysfunctional. This is really the situation I'd like to avoid. Our collective intellect, knowledge and sense of togetherness surely merits more than being reduced to petty squabbling. We ourselves are not the enemy. If anything, we should be rallying together to support initiatves such as the constitutional challenge and other such pursuits that hopefully will strengthen the foothold and legitimacy of the adult entertainment industry. Let us be mindful of the fact that we are here for one another. Cerb is not an entity in and of itself; Rather, it is WE who are Cerb. We make up our community and it is we who are ultimately the authors of our success or misfortune. As the dawning of a new year approaches, let's take it upon ourselves to reflect and resolve to rise up and overcome these issues, in order that we may all benefit the community as a whole. To do otherwise would be a disservice to ourselves and the industry we make up and support. Thank you for reading.

2 pointsHave to admit that as of today, the trees are still up and decorated, and most everything else is also still in its Christmas place. Maybe next week? :)

2 pointsHello Ladies and Gents.... Just a friendly reminder that if you are sick - keep it to yourself! 'Tis the season and all that for coughs and colds. I have seen a couple of fellas who mid way through our date showed symptoms of having a cold. I notice when you sniff sniff.....it's sort of hard to hide. Lol I know you want to have a sexy party....but maybe just have a solo one before seeing a lady....k?

1 pointYou know all those crazy conspiracy theories crazy people talk about? Like Elvis is still alive, or the moon landings never happened, or Area 51 is the mysterious home to alien conventions (buffet included). You've all seen those bargain books at Chapters, lying uneasily in bins affixed with a $4.99 price tag, titled 'The Government Poisons Our Water with More Water' and 'The Holocaust Never Happened, by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.' My question is, what conspiracy theories do you believe? I know they're silly but it's fun to imagine a totally different world every now and then. My favourite conspiracy theory, which I would love to believe true, is that the Romanovs are still alive. Or at least one of Nicholas's daughters. How fun would it be to still have a Russian royal family? Just to annoy Putin. What does everyone else believe/wish was true? xoxoxooxoxoxo Amelia

1 pointThanks for posting this CB! I feel pretty privileged to have been asked to speak on this issue for the Globe.

1 pointPerfect timing Cristy!!! I think if we provide a welcoming community based on mutual understanding, respect and inclusiveness, we can't help but to pay it forward. Give a person an opportunity to express themselves well, understand that we are as diverse a community as one could possibly imagine and embrace our commonality and our differences. No one can ever say, "I have too many friends."

1 pointThis is a great note Christy. This is definitely a space where we can express ourselves with an open freedom that other social networks may have a Rated G, A or R function. This is a place we can express ourselves in a safe, sexy and gracious community. I think Cerb is the only space in my opinion, that embraces this freedom. The most important thing to my being a member here, is the ebb flow of Hobbiest and SP's. It's been a very gracious community overall in my experience. I like the pay it forward analogy. I also look at the board as The six degrees of Separation and the idea that everyone is on average approximately six steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person, so that a chain of, "a friend of a friend" statements can be made, on average, to connect any two people in six steps or fewer. "You don't pay love back; you pay it forward." Lily Hardy Hammond

1 pointYou don't have to douse it with gas, by the time summer comes it will be nice and dry and ready to provide light and heat for the bonfire party! The beach in the afternoon, back to my place where we usually play football then have a BBQ followed by the bonfire...which is where the X-mas tree comes into play. You know there are advantages to living in the country!

1 pointAh yes, this is huge to me, as well.. Terrible, really, just how many people that you encounter in life who are prone to judge you and eager to condemn you in so many ways. Sadly, much of this probably stems from their upbringing in mainstream religion and a distorted, fundamentalist interpretation of "Christian" values...

1 pointI miss Wellie, we used to chat once in a while and I see he has not signed in since August. I really hope he is ok.

1 pointI admire RG's ability to not come off as creepy despite having one of the creepiest (but great!) actors at the top of every one of his posts. Plus, he likes fishing, and I've never met a fisherman I didn't like.

1 pointThis year I was actually able to get the decorations (both indoor and out) and the tree down already. Now that I think about it I think I left the lights and decorations on the tree...which is down by my fire pit...oh shit!

1 pointI could not agree more Dorinda. And remember that it works both ways. If a SP or hobbyist feels those cold/flu symptoms approaching then be preventative and do not make appointments. Keep those pesky little microbes to yourself rather than pass them along to others. Stay healthy and play safe!

1 pointI had no idea that OD and Cub enjoyed surfing... ... but after noticing what they were checking out I totally understand! What a sport!

1 pointMiss Sara, I think it also depends where the story takes place. Life is very different south of the Mason-Dixon and that could come into play. Verification is key but the entire industry has a different business model down South. I would be more than happy to make you dinner and we can spend an evening discussing it... cat

1 pointI miss Spike :( Hope all is well with him. Vanessa

1 pointThis is true. In fact at this point I've personally seen more threads about overcoming negativity, or of people succumbing and throwing themselves noisily upon their virtual swords, than I've seen instances of negativity itself. Most of the lamenting posts mention vaguely and broadly that there's been a bunch of something going on, somewhere... but aren't specific. I think this makes the problem seem larger and more persistent than it really is. I'm glad for the statements of determination to keep things positive. But as others have said several times... "let's move on". The best way to keep things positive with each other, is by posting positively. It's a worthy commitment for 2012.

1 pointI'm going to assume that things like 'vision' and 'the ability to walk' are just taken for granted here, unless all of you really do value your mobile phones more than those things. Here are things I would rather not disappear: -Swedish culture (ABBA, half my furniture, Dolph Lundgren, etc, I swear everything those people do is magic) -my swimming pool (I use that thing like 3 times a week) -chocolate (I'm a Lindt man counting down to the post-Christmas sales) -beer (not American beer, the world would be better off without American beer) -my George Foreman grill (these should just come standard in houses)

1 pointThat is today and I want to take this opportunity to invite all women here and all those (so basically everyone) who have an important woman in their lives to take some time to learn about violence against women and all the different types that unfortunately are. Some of us at a point have thought violence is only the one that involves physical abuse which is so wrong so here's some links that may be useful to learn more on the topic. http://www.swc-cfc.gc.ca/dates/vaw-vff/index-eng.html http://www.womenshealth.gov/violence-against-women/types-of-violence/ And to all the women reading this, even if you don't need this information for yourself, it maybe helpful for someone you know or even to avoid ever needing it.
