There seems to be a new trend on the rise. A very unsafe new trend. Numerous ladies, including myself, have reported an increase in a request for BBFS. These requests are often accompagnied by offers of increased donations or promises of their youth and good looks. Please note that no reputable lady will have intercourse without a condom no matter the offer. It is degrading, dangerous and just plain stupid to be seeking unprotected sex with any stranger! Get yourself into a monogamous relationship if no condom is what you require to get off!

Lots of good advice, but do emphasize that this is a police matter. If you are afraid for your friend's safety, then it isn't something she should try to handle on her own.

I find it incomprehensible that people would even ask for this. Is there any sense as to the demographic of those requesting this? I've read that young people aren't, in general, taking on board the safe sex message. It also worries me that if people are asking, they may be finding providers somewhere who are willing. All the more reason to stay with reputable and well established ladies. I also hope that ladies immediately put anyone who asks for this on their do not see list. Porthos

harassment is harassment (no matter what job you are in).....have her keep records of these phonecalls and visits and tell her to go to the police. Theres nothing she can do about the fake client emails unfortunately but if shes receiving threatening phonecalls and people are coming by harassing her then she has every right to take it to the authorities

I was inspired by Luxie's post where she reveals some things about herself so we can get to know her better. I thought it would be fun if we shared some things about ourselves - nothing too personal or revealing, just fun facts. I'll go first. 1. I still hold a motorcycle license I got in 1984. 2. I don't think I would generalize too much with younger guys. I think younger people in general, with casual sex encounters, are not using protection. I think by the time a younger man reaches early 20s and if he chooses to see an sp, he has progressed a bit more. I don't hear very many younger guys expressing that they have issues with condoms, or have any problems going all the way using them. Whereas I will see older guys for massage only sessions (as in HJ finish) because they do feel either real or imagined problems while wearing a condom. Younger men seem to be accustomed to how it feels wrapped up. On the handful of times the topic has come up, it has only ever been older gentlemen who were not born in Canada. A couple of time on the phone call, (who I didn't see), and fewer times in person, during covered sex as it happens, and with the assurance that their now retired regular did it (and consider that on two occasions two different guys mentioned the exact same provider) which I chalked up to lack of education about sexual health provided in her country of origin.

I have to say, the level of cognitive dissonance here simply baffles me. Do these people really not understand the inherent contradiction between the assumption they're explicitly making and the request they've just made? I just don't get it. At all. On a different tangent, a question... I'm guessing it's tough to tell over the phone or email, but what sort of age are the people who are requesting BBFS? I'm just wondering, because there's a generation now coming of age who have never really known STIs as a life-shattering disaster; in particular, they missed the era in which an HIV diagnosis was a death sentence. And so I'm wondering if the increase may be a combination of the young, who have never really understood the severity of these things, and the older folks who never had anything much in the way of sex-ed in their youth and got themselves married off before STIs were really talked about much. Pure speculation, of course. A penny for your thoughts (for as long as they're legal tender :) )

In some ways I wish the courts would simply just force people to pay child support, as it would probably cut down on dead beats. A relative of mine went through a very messy divorce not too long ago and the ex basically tried every trick in the book to get out of paying child support and spousal support to the point where he was turning the kids against their own mother. The one kid was smart enough to catch on to this but the other not so much, so not only has it kind of put a wedge between their mother but it's also kind of put a wedge between the kids. To me this is just shameful and for what a few lousy bucks and the guy is definitely not hurting in that department. If it wasn't for her dad the guy would have probably gotten away with it too. I always try to own up to my mistakes, so I always figured that if I got a woman pregnant, sp or not, and she decided to keep the child that I would be responsible for it. At the same time though I don't worry about it, at least that wouldn't keep me from seeing a sp. Were smart enough to know to practice safe sex and are aware of most of the common forms of birth control so that worst case scenario, if there was a breakage, we'd know what to do. Even so I know that the only 100% effective route is abstinence, but lets just say I've been down that road and it's no fun.

Well, we've always known that fools exist. It saddens me to hear that there's more of them around than there used to be. Perhaps there are SPs around that are sufficiently desperate for cash that they'll do BBFS... but really, what price is your life worth? And on the off-chance that any of the guys who request BBFS are reading this... do you seriously think that you're the *only* person that the SP who allows BBFS has done that with? Even if you don't care about what she may get from you, have you stopped to consider the risk you're taking with your own well-being? I'm not sure what the odds on this gamble are, but the price of losing is... high. Very high. Are you prepared to pay it? Having said all that... I suspect this problem will eventually sort itself out. Just don't let the foolish take you down with them.

I agree, though I'm not always worried about a guy messing with the condom... sometimes they're simply not stored properly, (in a wallet or glove box for weeks or months,) which makes them fail/break/tear very easily. They need to be kept in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and the expiry dates should be checked regularly. If a guy insisted on using his own condoms, I'd pass.

Was simply trying help based on my personal experiences regarding texts (which i do allow a few) and that texting a spur of moment are you available is very common and may become overlooked, IMO. Comparing the schedueling habits of a visiting service provider, here for limited time to a local girl such as myself, or generalizing that all the ladies should be be doing same thing isn't reasonable.

She should be able to use features the phone service already provides to block someone from calling her. Each phone call received, she also needs to press *57, then after a few of those calls are reported with *57, she then needs to get the # blocked. Tell her to not take "oh we can't do that" as an answer from the (assuming cel phone) phone company. They certainly can. If it is a landline, it is very much simpler. She simply uses *60 to block specific #s, and she can use that for block calls as well. Anyone receiving that many calls within a short period of time can show intent. If there are texts received, she needs to record, copy, save the history. If she receives harrassing emails, keep a record as well, then start blocking the emails as they arrive. Some email accounts have easy blocking set up, others may take some digging to figure out how to block. And definitely, she needs to report this person immediately and without delay, to start a file. It doesn't matter that this is another sp doing this, the process she needs to go thru would be the same if sp or problem client. Once she gets the basics of how to record and report, then she will be able to handle anyone else that happens her way. The worst possible thing to do is to allow it to continue, by doing nothing. Doing nothing would include not blocking the nuisance calls from clogging up her phone line, imo. Some sps change their phone #, but once the # is in ads, it starts up again anyway so not much point in that.' I have a feeling that if/when the problem sp gets a call or visit from LE, they'll think twice about treating your friend like a victim. Let's face it, some people are idiots. Some people manage to take offense when nothing was ever done to them. Some people have impulse control issues, or alcohol problems, or who knows what. The thing with this person is they aren't going to go away. Some people actually need someone else (like LE) to come up to them and tell them to stop doing something. They think because they can do something, and get away with it, it is OK. Best way to deal with a bully is to not allow them to get away with it. We don't know what this person is capable of if they feel like they aren't getting their way. Once they realize that LE is involved, and they would be the first person contacted if anything happens, they might take a step back.
