Hello everyone, Please, permit me to present myself, My name is Maria Divina, based in Montreal. I have been providing companionship to gentlemen since few years, and also, have been, few years ago, a major feminine poster on 2 Montreal's boards, but stop (and erased almost all of my contributions on one (I erased during 8 hours) because that was bringing me concerns I wanted to not handle anymore. Even if I had been member on Cerb from years, I did not really take the time to implicate myself in this board, I had in mind to visit other major cities from long, but with my schedule as student and my other obligations, I put on hold my project. And here I am: I made my first visit last week, I came for the first time in Ottawa, and liked it very much. I would like to come regularly. I have been using some local boards in Montreal to advertise (basically 2). I can certify than Cerb as nothing to do with those boards. I had been living a war between those 2 boards and have been taken between both, because some members of one promote the boycott of the ladies (and agencies too) who were putting ads on the others. (On both boards, they are guys who are in a war against each others). My point as a companion is not to fight anyone, but that was hard to handle, believe me. Anything I could say, was not the good thing, from the guys who were boycotting and pushing other people to boycott, but the other guys on the other board were not giving there place to the fight they are still having, if I had well understood. The result: much more less of recreational written participations on both boards, and I feel a bit betrayed by some of the boycotters who I had met in the past few times, and with whom I had great personal chemistry before all that story, but that didn't stop them to promote the boycott against me. That's totally not what I could call to have a good friendly attitude toward a lady who is greatly appreciated. With the exception of advertising, it seems to be a hostile environment for the SPs. They in turn have one of two options. Suck it up, as to not harm potential business, or speak out, and run the risk of looking bitchy to possible clients. Both problems don't exist on this forum, and I am so thankful to Mod for that. Granted, Cerb has it's share of drama from time to time, but the anonymity of the internet seems to bring out the crazy of people. And while I am grateful for the gentlemen here, I think for enforcing, and fostering the environment that we have on Cerb, I am so happy for the work Mod has put in. It seems that Piano had read it too there some others board (who are probably not the same as the ones I am talking about) letting the same kinds of exchanges happening on their discussion forums. So, I am here now, I think I found an "oasis de paix", a haven of peace. Ladies are really welcome: I can read that their opinions are not received negatively, and gentlemen here are in good dispositions to exchange equal to equal, that's really great! Thank you to have read me, I hope to share positive interactions here. The link provided, did not work for me-but I still have an opinion!!!! I am a safe service provider, who refuses to take the extra risks for money. ( Because there are already so many other risks, even when playing safe) I am fully aware that this decision has impacted the amount of clients I have...and that is A-OK with me :) Good Health is priceless - IMHO :)

Cutting the wine, energy drinks and most of my cheese consumption for the past 5 days (and I do love my wine and cheese!), already lost 3 lbs. Edit: I am well aware that I don't need to loose weight, but drinking two energy drinks a day, my cheese consumption made me all bloaty and gain 7 lbs. I want to go back to my old weight :)

Yep. I like both. But I consider them to be rather different experiences; a massage is more of a passive experience, and all you have to do is lie there and enjoy it rather than actually *doing* anything. Sometimes, that's just what's wanted :) Also, I tend to base my decisions on who to see based on seeing *people* that I want to see, rather than seeking out particular services... which means I necessarily get to see both MAs and SPs. Yes... but really, anyone who wants "more" than what's commonly offered by MAs should go see an SP. There's lots of good ones around, and some have been MAs in the past, if that's what you want. MAs know damn well they could offer FS if they chose to, either independently or via an agency; the fact that they choose to be MAs really ought to tell you something. Yes, there are constantly rumors of MAs who will do BJs, or FS; I don't doubt that some of those rumors are true. But that doesn't mean it's necessarily a good idea to see an MA and annoy her by asking a lot of questions to which the answer is "no". That still applies to MAs who have been SPs in the past. Easy: if someone advertizes as a MA, then that's what they are and all they offer, officially, and therefore that's all that should be discussed here. The Mods don't - and can't - read everything that's posted here. They rely on the rest of us to flag stuff for them to look at. You're right, this shouldn't be happening; if you see it, use that little "report post" button.

I don't think there has been a case involving threats like this one, but definitely there have been charges against a 14 year old a year or so ago out in Chilliwack, BC. She was doing ads for herself, then started also booking appts for her equally young friend. Charged her with living off the avails I think. I am picking this up from where Taloon felt that he had to leave off and I hope that this will work out for all. On June 22nd in downtown Halifax there will be a meet and greet or informal social. It will be held in a public location where we will be able to grab a bite to eat or have a drink. For this first ever gathering lets keep it simple and straightforward. I do hope that there will be a roughly equal mix of both men and women. I do not want to put any restrictions on this other than the obvious. Although this is not in any way a Cerb sponsored get together, please keep the following points in mind. * I would like to restrict it to Cerb members who are in good standing on the board. *We all know the underlying purpose of Cerb, however, as this will be in a public location I ask that there be no solicitation in any way by anyone, male or female. I would like us to be seen by the innocent bystander as simply a group of friends getting together for a few hours at a nice place at the end of the workweek. * No dress code stipulated other than that which suits the surroundings and suits the way that we wish to appear as a group of friends or co-workers. I am going to say 6 PM as a start time, and it can go as long or as short as anyone wishes to stay. For those who wish to attend you can notify me by PM. A day or two prior to the gathering I shall let you know the location. Any other tiny details can be worked out, but if you are able to stop in and meet some new or old friends in this context, then please let me know.

I respectfully dissent from the majority position. However despicable the alleged actions are, we are talking about minors. And they are not bordeline adults aged 17, but 15 year old. Minors are not considered adults in Canadian society, for good reasons. For example, they cannot vote because they are generally considered not to have attained the required intellectual maturity. If their alleged actions are proven in a court of law, they deserve to be punished. But they also deserve an opportunity to rehabilitate, and juvenile courts and detention centres will provide a better opportunity to do that. The victims and society would likely not be well served by their being judged and sentenced as adults. For one thing, it would have no deterrence impact on other immature kids tempted to act in a similar fashion as, again, they would likely not have the cognitive capacity to integrate such facts in their choice of action. Just experienced one that I detest, and that is exchanging texts with SP just before session then having them tell me I need to wait around after making an effort to be there on time, then they don't know why as the client your upset when you've had to wait around. Respect goes both ways, for both the client and SP, and both our time is valuable. Ladies, is it really expected to start a session when the previous client has just walked out the door?

I have never had an issue with getting all I need in hotels and even more. I do my own cleaning and just ask the staff for towels, soap, mouthwash etc. I know all the staff in most hotels, they think I travel with my husband on buisness and I am just a silly lady of leisure. I tip them well and they are thankful its a room they don't have to deal with. When I leave the room I always make sure any towels are in one convenient spot and I even strip the bed. Win, win for all.

Now if you can save up yer pennies, you can play golf here! Need a golf cart? Try this one! Plenty of room for Fat Bastard too!

Apparently this event is only available to certain people. I am excluded as I am too new to this service. Not sure I understand the rationale, I thought it might be to introduce potential new clientele to providers.

There might be an older boyfriend they are covering for, who was doing the driving. Since they are young offenders they likely won't face really hard consequences.

This thread was started while I was away (see what happens when you go away and have limited access to CERB), and I didn't see it when I got back. A big thanks to the lovely Sophia for starting it. I'm honoured to be included in a list of some very fine gentleman. Wow, you just don't want to let this go, do you? Since you've never attended a social before, perhaps as someone who has organized 6 of them in Ottawa I can enlighten you a bit as to our experience which the Halifax folks haven wisely taken into consideration. We had new members or those who never posted (and apparently had never seen anyone on cerb) show up at our socials to simply lurk and that kept others who were more active on the board and the community away. A lot of work goes into organizing these events and if it's not attended by members who are actually "hobbiests" and "sps", then there is no incentive for these members to take time out of their busy schedules to meet with people who simply want to gawk or cash in on free drinks (yes we had ladies posing as SPs who did this also). I am not in any way implying that all new members or even older members with no posts are necessarily lurkers only, but seeing how there is limited room, of course more seasoned members should be allowed first dibs. I don't see any reason for posting what you did except to try and stir the pot which is totally unnecessary and not in the spirit of the board. As Boomer reminds us, this is not a CERB-sponsored party. It is organized by cerb members for other cerb members at the discretion of the organizers. Simply having a cerb handle does not equal entitlement.

There are two ways to learn the sex trade. One is to jump in and learn as you go, the other is to go to work for an agency and learn the trade from the ground up. I feel one of the problems today is the deviation from our history of the game being "sold, not told". It might sound a little street but it is a golden rule. Sps handing out hard earned, dangerously learned or self taught information is like us handing out $100 bills to anyone who asks for one. Why would any SP that understands that knowledge is the most valuable asset she has, willingly hand it out to someone who we don't know? My advice would be to shit or get off the pot, don't expect a free hand out as one needs to earn the trust of providers first before expecting us to "give" you something as valuable as our inner wealth. cat

I don't understand discrimination, but I have been through the consequences of it. As a white girl who lived in an aborginal area I was beat up frequently. I never understood it. As a gay female who has lost many friends when I came out... I don't understand it. I don't get it how someone can immediately judge a person as a whole because of skin colour, gender, orientation, etc. I've always accepted people into my life because I thought that everyone has something to give and learn from. To just cut someone off because you were born a different colour, background, orientation, etc just seems so odd to me. It's too bad that there are people out there who believe that they are right in discriminating against someone. People are people... we are all the same on the inside and that's what people should be focusing on. I feel sorry for anyone who is so closed minded that they can't open up their lives to someone who is diffeent from them. Look at all they are missing!!

The smaller the place, the more likely the girl will be recognized as a local and the problem becomes where to advertise and just how many clients is she going to attract. The only small places I knew where that worked were northern oil towns in Alberta and B.C. where there was an influx of workers staying in motels on their times off so there was always a turn-over of guys and thus new clients. Places like Peace River, Grande Prairie, Dawson Creek and Fort St. John had more motels than some small cities I've been to. Brockville is a beautiful spot and I would live there in a New York minute, but I doubt it would be lucrative in the long run to be an SP there (even a younger one). I have made the trip there for out-calls a few times over the past 10years. But what I find now is most don't want to fork out the travel fee. However when a lady has to take 2 or more hours of her time to travel, she does need to be compensated for it, otherwise there's no point in doing it.

I personally don't find the comment about Yogi's to be funny. I have met a few young men from Petawawa and believe me according to them there would be a demand. The problem first of all where to advertise without being too much on the radar and where to work out without drawing attention. If the army boys start lining up, I can assure you word will spread very quickly but it also has a way of getting back to the wives and I can assure you a lynch mob of army wives and church people would not be pleasant. For an agency, that kind of "selection" may cause a problem for the credibility or the reputation of the agency. For the SP, she has the right to choose the customers she wants to offer her services, but, maybe, the agency setting does not suits her.

You can't please everyone. So make yourself happy in knowing you're a wonderful person." That always stuck with me. I am mixed race, and I am from a place where it's VERY interracial. I judge people on how they treat me not the colour of their skin or circumstances.I don't care if you're plaid, as long as you're good to me I'll return the favour :) Even though I have had bad treatment in my life, i know that it is their issue because they close minded, and I am a beautiful person and it's their loss not mine. There's alot of wonderful people in this world who care for me and see my differences as an asset, not a reliability or a fault. So to answer your question, yes my views have changed since I entered this wonderful world, I never knew people could be so judgemental and cruel based on my skin and the way I look, but then on the other side of the coin I have never met so many wonderful people who are fascinated by our cultural differences and treat me like a rare exotic gem they are entranced by. It feels so good to be me!!!
