There is something very very wrong when a grown man has no issues about having sex with an underage girl...even if she does want it. So wrong...

I am hoping you are misunderstanding the word Pubescent and consent: Definition Pubescent - arriving at or having reached puberty. Puberty - the age at which puberty occurs often construed legally as 14 in boys and 12 in girls The age of consent for sexual activity is 16 years. A pubescent child cannot give consent - no matter what she or he says, she/he is unable to give consent before the age of 16 years. I am hoping this was just a misunderstanding in your statement.

I have found this thread really interesting. I started work at 18 by my own volition and never found the clients I serviced to be seedy or slimy. That said, I looked in my mid 20's and seldom was I asked about my age. I knew what I was getting into, had given it a couple of years of thought before hand and I've never regretted the decision. I have a fairly strong personality and have never had a problem handling men even at 18. I could have easily worked at 16 from an emotional maturity stand point. The foundation for my business today was there already as a teenager and I've changed little in the way of customer service since I started. On a personal level, I'm divided by the "18 is acceptable" mentality. At 16 I started dating older men in their late 20's whom I met thru my older sister. I looked well over 18 and they never asked my age until we had been dating awhile. Most times I lied about being older and it was never questioned. By the time I was 18, I graduated to men over 40 and I have preferred men at least 15-20 years my senior ever since. Boys my own age held no interest for me. I didn't want to go to parties where everyone drank themselves into oblivion and pawed at me; I didn't want to hang out watching videos and making out on the couch or driving around. I wanted to go and do things. I loved live theater, racing of any sort, good restaurants and intelligent conversation. I wanted to travel and see the world outside of the little bit of swamp I grew up in. Boys my own age didn't do those sorts of things. The sex part of the dating was secondary to me. The intimacy was fun, I learned so much and I would do it again in a heart beat. I think older men can offer a better quality relationship because they are experienced. That said, there needs to be more on the mans mind than just getting into a young girls pants. They met when she was 17 and she moved in on her 18th birthday. Many were appalled and her step mom tried to have him arrested before she turned 18. I know my daughter, this man didn't take advantage of her; if anything, she took advantage of him. She has had the best 3 years of her life since 9/11 hit and the sky fell in on our family. My other daughter is 23 and dating a man my age. He provides her with opportunities she would never have on her own or dating a man her own age. He adores her and she him. They aren't marriage minded but they live together and seem happy. She's learning about being a grown up from someone she will listen to (God knows she doesn't listen to me or her father) and seems to be getting pretty good advice from him. Our society seems to forget that teenage girls mature faster than their male peers and some of these young ladies are more than ready to experience life with someone who can show them what's out there. The only relationship I had with someone my own age was with the father of my children and while I don't regret it on any level, I do think my life today would be very different if I had stayed true to my nature and married someone more mature... cat

As we age and gain life experience we are better prepared and more able to deal with unconventional choices, make better decisions and have a better idea of what we want or don't want our future to hold.

I think the only opinion that matters on this is your own. Men are in this hobby for a multitude of reasons, and one of them is fantasy - if their fantasy includes being with a hot younger girl, as long as she's 18, who am I to judge? Whoa, that's a lot of assumptions there. This isn't going to be a one-size-fits-all answer, as sure, some 19 year olds may lack the maturity to make such a decision, but there are also plenty of folks in their 20s, 30s, 40s, etc who may just as equally be unable or unprepared to enter into sex work. That is not our call to make, or our judgement to pass, so long as the person in question is of legal age and legally able to consent. Coersion can also happen at any age.

If it is claimed as legal by the peers we vote in to create and modify our laws, who are we to question whether it's ethical or not. If we think they made a bad choice, we vote them out and start again. Many tests and surveys are conducted every year on just about every aspect of human nature and the results are used to determine new laws or update old ones. It is a known fact that teenagers of this decade are way smarter than I was at their age, or any of you. They know at a younger age, just what they want out of life. That's just natural human evolution. Who knows, maybe in a few years, they'll drop the age even lower. For those naysayers, give it a rest. If your child is one of the few that didn't quite make the front of the line when common sense was handed out, then by all means, keep a close eye on them. Otherwise, let the young adults live their lives in peace.

It seems pretty obvious to me, but I'd rather not just give a flippant response based exclusively on my own perceptions and experiences, which are obviously limited - I work as a SP, I have many friends who are current and former workers in various parts of the sex industry and I've worked in social services where I had clients who were SPs, but I don't have any experience as a male hobbyist hiring a SP, and I do know that when I am a client at say, a strip club, my interactions with the women working there are really different than the interactions men have. So, if you were giving advice to someone who had never seen a SP before and was really concerned about the risk of seeing someone who had been trafficked or who was being coerced* into the work, what would you tell them? I'm interested in responses from both SPs and hobbyists. Things I would recommend: See someone who**: - works independently & has their own website - participates in online communities for hobbyists and/or SPs - is involved in sex worker rights activism/blogs or talks about their experiences and their work publicly - screens their clients Get to know them a bit, either through their interactions online or by booking some social time where you plan to just talk. * When I talk about coercion, I mean through violence, emotional manipulation or abuse. One of the popular arguments against sex work is that there is no free choice when there are economic pressures that might influence a person's choice to do this type of work. Ultimately though, that adds up to an argument against capitalism and all work being coercive, and doesn't logically or meaningfully single out sex work, without doing a bunch of mental gymnastics. ** Obviously not meeting these criteria doesn't mean anything and many SPs who choose this work don't meet these criteria. Additionally, this is really complicated too, because these sorts of screening criteria could further marginalize already marginalized workers, by steering good potential clients away from them and towards workers who are already more privileged. But at the same time, those who are making the argument that it's impossible to do this type of work consensually or that it's impossible to be an ethical consumer are already seeking to force us all out of this line of work anyway, which, imo, does far more to marginalize already under-privileged workers.

I like to keep it within my age range, so from 25 to 40 and will adventure over 40 if i really like someone, no problems there. It's all about the person and how they act for me. I just find i prefer someone in that age group but always open about things. But won't go below 25 or so as i'm just more comfortable with that.

I don't think there is anything wrong with an older man having consensual sex with a pubescent girl. I think many young teenage girls want sex and know exactly what they're doing when they pursue it. Hello I Want Want To say tank To anyone That gavé insights. The Logic Was he read and no refund should be giving as many of my friends told me.However as some other point out I have to assume the repercussion it could bring.After looking his profile and emails exchange I understood that the person would have go his way and yes maybe bring me to court ..Even though it would cost him more than the refund as he is set his ways.Has it involved me but also others I had to think of consequences if I refuse.So I decide to refund him was he request but required to sign a document as he didnt keep his word and disregard what he agreed first to sign that he wouldn't create for the event itself or anybody involve privately or publicly any issues ,that he wouldn't do a reverse charge after I reimburse him.That no legal procedures would be done against me or my company that he would no longer be eligible to participate in any future events. I wasn't please..But I had to think of others and on future of any events. He did signed it.Im a stubborn person but it wasn't worth to jeopardize the event myself or my company or others that are involve in it as one thing I promote and proud to respect is the privacy to attend to such event. In my own way I did reimburse in a way to make him understand how time consuming it was...I reimburse him in 5$ 10$ and 20$ bills the amount which was 4000$.Yup it sound childish but when someone spend time counting and how pain in the ass it is to received small bills they may..or may not get how much waste of time it is as it was for me to make all preparations and find last minute a new lady. I learned a very valuable lesson is to change my agreement for future and make it very clear. I'm sad that some men will use the fact that it is escort related to push their power to double standard as yes no vacation deal would be reimburse Somehow I'm glad he didn't attend as my events aren't for the possessive guys.Sharing is caring in this hobby :) Thanks VJ
