Always, always at the beginning. This goes beyond etiquette and you have to appreciate what a highly charged topic this is. Another point to remember is that an unanswered text could simply mean that the lady in question was busy or is on personal time. If this is the case, for discretion purposes, I doubt they would text back after the fact unless you specifically gave consent to do so. I would follow up by whatever means requested (email, PM) or see if the lady perhaps has a website with more information. Good luck.

I would recheck the ad and make sure the info is not already there. If it is, some sps get annoyed to have a question asked that is already answered. Once you confirm it is not anywhere in the ad, then of course ask. Depending on the sp you may or may not also be able to ask or will receive services info. if you do not receive that info, don't push for it, if she is one who will not (due to recent law changes) then she will stop communication with you if you press for it. also, important is does she accept texts, or does the ad say phone call only, email only, no texts? another thing to check first lol

payment up front has always been proper etiquette, and I've been doing just that for over 10 years. I've had my share, and learned by experience, of the 'oh I forgot my wallet in the car' scenario and had the guy leave 'after' the fact and never return, therefore getting a freebie. I've learned since then. Sure there are ladies that do run off with the money, but you can't paint all ladies with the same brush. There are going to be experiences that are not exactly up to your standard or expectations, but we ladies also suffer from the 'lack of sensuality' from some clients. We go through with some experiences even though we don't want to. As it's often said on here, your mileage will vary. Chemistry is something that is very important to me when meeting with a client. I have turned down secondary appointments with some clients as I feel the chemistry just isn't there for me. For other clients I have had, they are just not into what I give, all they want is the 'wham bam, get in, get off, get out' scenario, which is not what I offer. Looking for ways to pay afterward is going to get you a lot of response in this forum. We all tend to look after each other. I, for one, will take payment afterwards for those clients which have a history with me. They are trusted clients and I would bend over backwards for them to fit into their schedule, so I give a little in this manner. Under no circumstance whatsoever would I ever accept payment afterwards from someone I have just met. Trust is a two way street in this business.

This happened to me many years back with a popular touring lady. In my excitement and nervousness, I totally forgot about the donation in my pocket until the lady reminded me when I was leaving. It was a big embarassment to me (probably to her too for having to ask)! Since then, I always make sure to hand over the envelop as soon as I arrive. I always prefer payment up front. I have a regular who assumed the half hour rate was half the hourly rate. So when he went to pay me after, he was short. He told me he would make up the difference and of course didn't. So our previous wonderful times were ruined with a bad taste in my mouth. I'm quoting you not for any particular reason but just because this: sometimes sps get ripped off by their regulars simply because they switch to allow post payment, and that is what that bad element actually look for. at what point does the sp relax her policy, he wonders, and if you are there reliably paying after the session, it can actually influence that sp into relaxing that standard practice for any repeaters. so at some point, her new habit of doing that is going to cost her. If you truly have no intention of not paying her, i cannot think of any single reason for her to have to prove she trusts you. I can imagine a lot of worry and concern going thru her mind during the entire encounter that at the end even you will say that you forgot your wallet. I can't imagine anyone really wanted to put any sp that they do want to repeat with thru that worry. Pay up front, first visit or fiftieth, do not let her think it is OK to accept post payment from anyone. give her that consideration, and trust, and show her that it is not ok, no matter how many visits any of her clients have with her, she must always always get paid first. no one should have to prove they trust by changing their standard policy, if standard as we know is prepayment, then prepayment it is. all the time every time.

With the agency it was always money first! With independent I still do money first but on occasion I accept it after, if it's a client I already know and trust. Even then its just because we got caught up in the heat of things, not because I didn't want to ask for it first! Evening Folks Finally time to go thru more of Tom's stuff and to related some of the discussions he and I had at the end of his journey. My little brother, who hated when I said that, because he was born just a couple of minutes after me, really loved the community here. First for the record, the social has not been cancelled, it was postponed a second time to a date in the fall. I'm doing the Atkins plan and it's become more of a lifestyle for me than anything else. I am very sensitive to carb and was dealing with adrenal fatigue and high cortisol issues. The way I was eating made it even worse. I was told I do not have a thyroid problem. Thank God! My doctor did not want to address adrenal fatigue because some think it does not exist. Many people out there are wondering why they are so tired. If you have vertical lines on your finger nails, it is a sign of adrenal stress. Daily stress accumulates and one day you feel so exhausted that you wouldn't wish your own worst enemy of having it. Just getting out of bed was difficult for a while. Hypothyroidism is a side effect stemming from adrenal fatigue as well.. I am fortunate that I don't have to deal with this. With the help of a naturopathic doctor, they actually listened. One day on this plan stopped all of that. I did go through the first 3 days of sugar withdrawl where I felt like I wanted to kill someone but I survived. lol. I have so much energy now and I'm never hungry. It says to start with 20 carbs a day on induction but I used to eat a lot of carbs so I didn't want to give my body a shock so I started with 40 carbs a day. I'm still losing. I feel very focused and energetic and I don't get that 3 pm crash. This diet has also been used for those with epilepsy. There is a misconception with Atkins that it is a no carb diet or that it's unsafe. This is simply not true. My carbs come from non starchy low carb vegetables and it is a high fat, moderate protein, low carb plan. You cannot gorge on protein all day long or it will eventually be stored as glucose. At the same rate, the protein you are eating does fill you up so in the end, you end up eating less calories. I use good fats such as butter, coconut oil and olive oil and the weight is coming off and clothes are becoming too big. On this plan your body stops burning glucose once its all used up and you then begin to go in what's called a state of ketosis where essentially you are burning your own body fat for fuel. If anyone is on this, you may get what's called ketosis breath ( burning ketones out of your mouth) so don't use mouthwash with alcohol as it tends to exacerbate it even more. I use alcohol free mouthwash and sugar free gum so my breath is good. lol. I also use the keto urinalysis strips from the pharmacy to see if I'm burning ketones. Being in ketosis ranges from a light pink to dark purple. It is definitely a good motivator to see if your body has keto adapted which means you're burning fat. I personally don't weigh myself because I don't want to feel like a slave to the scale or equate my worthiness to a number but will do so on my birthday in the next few months. I have gone down a size in jeans though. My face and stomach were the first things I have noticed that have slimmed down followed by my thighs. I cannot run anymore because the cortisol levels in my body become too high which leads to storing of abdominal fat so I started with restorative breathing, followed by yoga and now long walks because I'm trying to make my adrenal glands better. High intensity exercise will cause an adrenal crash and I used to be able to run long distances. :( I will soon try pilates. My goal is to go to 115-120 lbs whenever I get there and maintain it for life. It has to become a way of living for me now. Although I am only 5'3", I cannot go lower than that because I look really gross if I'm too thin. Bones start protruding, etc. It just doesn't look right on me and I look very tiny and sickly looking. I have always been used to have a bit of extra on me including my ample chest. lol. Wish me luck because it's something I plan to stay on. I've had to say goodbye to sugar forever and really think long and hard about this and my health. It is all or nothing with me.
