9 pointsHi, our names are numerous. When you arrive, you will find a woman who is impeccably coiffed and meticulously made up. We will be stylishly dressed including sexy lingerie and killer heels. We will greet you with a dazzling smile and a warm embrace, make you laugh and think. Having the ability to put you at ease, we can hold a conversation & discuss a myriad topics. You will be seduced with intense passion. We will be sexy, sassy or even slutty. You will be treated like the most important man in the universe. You will be told you that you are handsome, that you are intelligent, that you are a great lover. As we say our farewells, you will be told that it was a fabulous time; the best time ever. This does not mean that anything beyond a paid arrangement should be expected. You were given what you wanted: the fantasy! Hello again, our REAL names are "Private " And we are mothers, wives, girlfriends, sisters, daughters, aunts, nieces, cousins. We clean the house, do the laundry, get PMS, don't wear make-up, walk around in sweats and bare feet. Sometimes we get stressed out, are in bad moods, cry, rage, bitch, have bad breath upon waking, drool and maybe even snore when asleep. We sweat when exerting ourselves, get dirty when we garden, are bulldogs when discussing our beliefs. And THIS is what you would get for free! So....to all you gents who think that they would like to get to know us off the clock, we are the same as your current wife, girlfriend, lover and like any other woman, we all have many flaws... just remember.....you are paying to NOT see them! And you KNEW the rules before joining the game so please don't expect to be able to change them, not should you try. Keep the fantasy intact!

3 pointsA very special thanks to AngelaofOttawa for taking the lead in organizing the Ottawa Fall 2012 social! A great venue, and great company!!! And thanks to everyone who attended to make this a success!
-
3 pointsYup, the boat sold today :-( going to miss her Probably 2-3 years buy another boat But from the proceeds of the sale, I went to the bank, paid off my line of credit :-) Better yet, there is enough money left over that something very special will take place this November So mixed feelings yes, but over the tears now LOL and feeling pretty good all in all RG
-
3 pointsObviously I agree with the general point of the thread but, respectfully, here's the problem ... if you are a newbie going through the topics in this portion of the board, you are going to see a ton of topics of "dont do this," "do this, do that," and ... "for god's sake never ever do this." (smile) And that's just the beginning ... it seems to go on and on, and on .... and if I was new to this, it might be enough to drive me away or at least give me a negative impression of some of the ladies that might appear ... if I didn't know any better ... to be always complaining about things guys do. What's being discussed is a very common topic. A guy who is new may misinterpret the "niceness" to be something more. That's been discussed a lot whether its SP activity or strip clubs (its worse there), and there is ... although artfully put ... nothing new here. So when its discussed, ad nauseum, in multiple threads, on and on, and on, it comes across negative regardless of whatever good intent may exist. Not good for business. Ladies, just trying to offer an open, honest opinion.

2 pointsAs Much as Dan is hate-able, he is the one of the best players in BB history if not the best. He is vicious and ruthless with no actual loyalty. He is HATED in the jury house though which can make his game week. I think the final two has a good possibility of being Dan and Danielle. Although if Ian were smart enough to sniff this out it could be Ian well probably Dan. I know people want to see Ian and Danielle in final two, But the unfortunate fact is Dan will cut down anyone and trample over their dead body to be final two. he has time and time again
-
2 pointsPlus, Danielle can be hailed as hero by the juries if she takes out the villain. I say she stands a better chance sitting next to Ian than Dan. She needs one big play to show she had graduated in Dan's class.
-
2 pointsI can't believe you predicted this....I am impressed. Danielle is a complete moron for following Dan, Ian is a moron for believing the renegade bullshit. I hate to say it but Dan should win this game, they are all ponds in his little game, they are not worthy to be in his presence. All Hail Dan!!!

2 pointsPLEASE....when you discover the cure (the cure that makes liers melt into nothingness) let me know cause I hate no one unless I find out that they maliciously lie (let's face it a lie isn't that bad if there is no nefarious intent)

2 pointsThanks Meg for a very poignant essay. It is a surreal experience but the memories are very real and hopefully will last forever and no one can take them away. We hobbyists have real lives too. The time we spend with you is an escape from that reality. You make us feel young and desirable again even if we are not. I mean, how else could guys like me enjoy beautiful women less than half our age sharing their wonderful treasures with old pharts like us when they wouldn't even give us a second look under real circumstances? When I was young(er) I would never have considered paying to play because it was not necessary. Today it is a privilege to have the opportunity. Last summer I had the rare privilege to take a 45 minute flight in a B-17 bomber. Since I hold a licence I was able to actually take the controls for five minutes. The flight cost $350.00 but the experience was PRICELESS and the memories will remain strong for many years to come. The proceeds go to the restoration costs and maintenance of this rare WW-II aircraft. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been able to enjoy this wonderful experience. There are other similar aircraft as well and I look forward to doing the same thing while I am still able to do so. In a way this is the same kind of thing and the proceeds also go to maintenance. We're lucky to have access to these wonderful ladies and their intimate treasures. They are priceless too. The one thing I have learned early in the game is "Don't try to make it something it is not." Otherwise you will be very unhappy. Meg has hit it dead-nuts on. Everyone in the hobby, newbies and veterans alike should read her essay and understand it. Thank you ladies for sharing your wonderful treasures with us.

1 pointOMG! I would Absolutely Love to see Danielle cut Dan out at the end. Not only would it make for amazing tv but it would be an absolutely amazing play move. Dan has protected her and brought her through the hole way. Possibly because he doesn't believe her to be a threat As well, I believe if Ian wins HOH it could most defiantly be interesting.

1 pointwow, that's a leap from a non-smartphone to a Note lol...but good choice. I had a look at the Note when it first came out and it was just too big for me, i just found it too big for my pant pockets and for regular phone calling...i think i've seen it called a phablet lol have fun with it.
-
1 pointI found a googly eye on my couch. I don't know where it came from. This fills me with such glee, you can't even imagine.
-
1 pointI agree. This is the New to This? section. This topic is very section appropriate. It would have been great had the posters stuck with the theme in the OP, rather than worrying about it seeming negative, or affecting the sp's business lol. That would have been OK if brought up in the main discussion area, but here, it would be more helpful to the New client out there who is just starting out. Or maybe he has had a couple of appts with one sp, and needs a reality check on that giddy feeling he now has with someone he really doesn't know at all.
-
1 pointNever existed. People will necessarily, and almost always, act out of some degree of self-interest. Nothing wrong with that as long as its balanced with a sense of morality (which is usually where the problems are).

Originally I lived in a 705 area code. Where I moved to, and am currently living is a 613 area code. Virgin left my number the same (705) when I moved. But told I need to change my number to 613 area code. So for any ladies I see, my contact phone number has changed, but I will provide it :-) Thanks everyone for your input RG

1 pointI think that TG is basically asking where did honesty go in our culture. Honesty is a very cheap commodity these days as a whole. Our culture allows and indeed embraces a less honest way of life. It's easier. But is it? Our children are growing up to believe this. Anyone under 30 has been exposed to this culture. All one has to do is turn on the television, listen to a politician (who is expected to lie), or read a magazine (10 ways to cheat on your income tax). My view is that I choose to live in a world where honesty is still prevalent, although not always present. I am not a fool and cant be snowed that easily, so I choose to use my feet/ears and walk/stop listening. I find it much easier to believe people than always be suspicious of everything they say. If it's a lie and not hurting me, I don't care because it reflects on that person, and not me. And I don't lie. It's too hard to remember so I see no point. Unless I know it will hurt someone, then I re-think what I am going to say.
-
1 pointWell I think if newbies can't take repeated guidance they best stay newbies. You spoke to some hazards which are very real and very dangerous and tried to give very appropriate guidance on keeping our sense of reality which some will no doubt read and be helped by it, and you did so in a very creative way I must add. But like any thread on CERB it often takes on a life of it's own which was unintended by the original poster. I myself have had threads I started go totally astray. I don't mean to be judgmental of anyone, we all come from different walks of life and are very different people due to our different life experiences and each has a right to their own opinion. Please don't be saddened by our freedom of expression Meg. You did a good thing.

1 pointAnd there was a time when a church would always be open and anyone could enter at any time to say a prayer. This is still true in much of the 3rd world but all the churches where I live are locked until someone opens it before a service and they all need burglar alarms. Maybe this is a symptom of some of the changes in our society. Who would ever burglarize a church? I think drugs, poor parenting, television violence, video game violence and many other factors have changed this generations sense of values and ethics.

1 pointDanielle can still win this game. All she needs is to take out Dan and sit next to Ian in final two. Don't count her out just yet.

1 pointMeg (and to all our cerb ladies) -- that's fine and understood, but it begs the question I am raising which is that ... taken as a whole ... these posts can, and do, come across as negative and very critical of clients. And again, there seems to be a lot of them especially in the newbie thread. Again, it's not this string or anyone in particular. Not talking about safety issues either. But they are all bricks in a wall. All I'm trying to do is caution all of the ladies that it may have unintended consequences from a "marketing standpoint," so to speak. Look at it this way: if I am a new potential client and I am perusing the newbie thread and I see all these threads from the ladies complaining about otherwise gentle and gentlemanly clients asking an "inappropriate" question or not fully reading the pricing section of someone's website or not precisely following detailed instructions or needing to share detailed personal information about themselves .... well, jeez, is it even worth it? Compare that against the SP that is posting mostly positive, fun comments and has a fairly simple contact process? Who is more likely to be contacted by that new client? Anyways, just food for thought.

1 pointWhat a great event! My wife and I had a wonderful time meeting members of the community. As I fully expected, our members were as interesting, intelligent and personable in the flesh as they are in this forum. Many thanks to Angela, for organizing the event and for ensuring that, as the first couple to attend one of these, we felt welcome. We can only hope our presence as a hobbiest-couple didn't make anyone feel uncomfortable. As the sole female hobbiest in the room she did feel like a fish out of the water. Thankfully, as the unicorn in room, it seemed to get her lots of attention from both providers and hobbiests? (Yes, female hobbiest are real ... you now have tangible proof!) Some members wondered whether this profile, northerntantra, is shared by both of us. It is not. My wife is new to the hobby and doesn't have her own profile on cerb -- though many urged her to do so last night, and she's considering that! No, this profile is mine alone, as are the thoughts I express though it. After last night's conversations I'm looking forward to adding some new people to my circle of friends here. And my wife and I are really looking forward to the next social. It can't come soon enough!

1 pointI truly hope that there aren't any ladies' safety put at risk by this clown Five people total, the "man" and the four ladies, all strangers to one another, in Mexico, doesn't sound like a holiday, sounds like recipe for disaster, for the ladies that is RG

1 pointWe are evolved to lie and we all do it, it's something that has benefited our species for a very long time and I suspect you'd have a hard time going back far enough to find the "good ole' days" when humans didn't lie if it ever existed at all. http://simbio.com/blog/post/language-lying-and-evolution http://www.forbes.com/2005/10/19/lying-dishonesty-psychology_cx_lr_comm05_1024lie.html

1 pointI have to agree with that billybob, there have always been snake oil salesmen around in one form or another but it seems people used to be more honest and dishonesty and deceit has become more the order of the day. Consider this little true story: Ok, so we've all had that stray rock strike our windshield on the highway and whap! and then it cracks and spreads and we get a new windshield and as it's like $400 we just pay by credit card. The glass shop is great, highly skilled, but technologically primitive and has a credit card impression machine with the little carbon copy slips. Months go by, more months go by, but oddly we haven't seen the charge on the credit card statement. Hmmm (guess this should be in the thread of things that make you go Hmmm), I wonder if that $400 charge for the new windshield will ever show up? It's been like 6 months. So passing by the auto glass store on my way to the office one morning I stop in and explain the situation, that I had my windshield replaced, paid by credit card and it has never shown up on the credit card statement, did the charge not go through? Was the impression of my credit card not clear enough? What is the problem? The owner is in "shock"! Like why are you here man? What in the world do you want from me? So I explain, I want only to make sure you get your money. I can't in good conscience drive around with a new windshield I haven't paid for. As it turns out the credit card impression wasn't good enough, the bank rejected it, they hadn't recorded my address or license number and had no way of contacting me, so of course I paid for the windshield, the owner then had to shake my hand and congratulate me for being the last honest person left in the world and I was on my way to the office again. $400 is a lot of money for a small business like this to have to absorb as a loss. As I travel along the highway I come upon a horrible "black ice" style of accident that had happened about 20 minutes before with lots of cars and carnage involved. Of course I see the flashing lights of the emergency vehicles and slow right down and pass by with that icky feeling we always get but then I realize that it all happened 20 minutes ago and that's just about exactly how long I spent at the auto glass shop. Hmmm So why did he think I was the last honest person left in the world? Yeah, people that expect to get something for nothing or lack morals are more common these days. I know my parents would do the same, I know many people today that would think they got a free windshield and actually be gleefully pleased to have made like a bandit. Hope that helps!

1 pointI was laughing so hard I couldn't even type the comment for the rep. points proper let alone read it my eyes were watering. I hope the ladies have a lovely, safe time and hopefully they create an album of their trip. Whoever these/you "ladies" may be please let someone know all the details of your "trip" for your safety. 1 pointI can relate somewhat RG. I love cars and when I go to sell one that I have become attached to it can become very hard to let it go even though you want to. Just think of the anticipation of getting a new one down the road and yes about november, now that will be a lucky lady, something else to look forward to and enjoy! I'm sure she'll make you forget about boats.:icon_biggrin:
-
1 pointHonesty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Don't really think there ever was such a day. And let's face it, if it wasn't for outright lying, or at least some very big sins of omission, most of the ladies on this board would be out of business, cause the clients would have been killed by wives and girlfriends. So here's to a little creative distortion! Porthos

1 pointKudos to you, Meg, for posting this in the newbie thread for those not yet initiated, and as a reminder for some veterans. On first reading, I did not pick up any negative vibe, and believe it was merely in the jogging of memories that this post was made. Everyone takes something different away from it, and that's as it should be. Different views and opinions being aired. So gents, respect the ladies that allow you to have those hours of escape, social and sensual adventures, where, if you've taken proper steps, you've got no worries of your privacy being breached, or of indiscretions reaching those in your real worlds. Compare that to the risks of a tryst in the square world. The ladies, in turn and with full rights, expect to be safe from harm and harassment and to be able to conduct their business without the annoyances that they unfortunately still too often have to deal with in this day and age. Hopefully, with time, the status quo will change bit-by-bit for the better. And, by all means, keep the fantasy world separate from the real one. Once that line blurs, it's a sign of emotions in confusion. Revel in the beautiful adventures, but know that there is a line that must not be crossed. FR #offmysoapboxnow :)

1 pointIn my opinion pay as you go is only good if you only have a need to use the phone for calling and texting.
-
1 pointi think you should probably go with Telus/koodo or Rogers...i think i would suggest maybe going with Koodo as they use the Telus network which is shared with the Bell network and get the same coverage...i believe Bell has the best overall coverage than Rogers. I think if you are using strictly for phone/text/email than maybe going with a Blackberry would be best for you...go to a store and test the phones out. Some prefer the keyboard and some the touch screen (my preference). It all depends what you want out of the phone, if you plan to use it to surf the web then maybe an Android or iPhone...i don't think i would get the new iPhone as it is overpriced for what new features you get, get an older one. For Android i recommend the Galaxy Nexus or the S3...can't go wrong. Koodo is offering a 40 dollar plan - 150 mins Canada long distance, 250mbs, unlimited text messages and 5pm evenings and weekends I would go against Wind or Mobilicity unless you live in a major city and even then i would probably vote against it. They don't have the coverage of the larger carriers. hope this helps.

1 pointNathalie is my real middle name, and the name of my godmother. Lefebvre is a common French last name which comes from the latin word faber which translates to "craftsman" in English. When I first joined CERB I was making a lot of handmade jewelry and felt like a faber. As a French Canadian, I thought it would be representative of me, my origins, and my interests at the time. Great thread!
