While I think that the orginial intent of this thread was to let Cerbs wonderful ladies realize that they are sought after and appriciated I fear that it's possibly in poor taste. While the ladies mentioned may appriciate the stamp of approval a more appropriate venue is through reco's. Not to be a kill joy but I have issues with people being treated like objects. I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing to list someone you like to see. Maybe you see someone being listed that you've never heard about before and lead to checking out her profile, i find that helpful. And for treating the women like objects, i know i've chatted with some i would like to see or from their postings and have a general interest...and not just a physical attraction. I say if you want to openly list then feel free and, if not, then chose not to. I will keep mine private but my choice. It should be up to the person's discretion.

ive been working with eyeglass for ten years , actualy going to college now to have my optician license ! if you want a quick adaptation , DONT alternate between youre old glasses and youre new one. you will have to adapt you're head movement to !for exemple, going down a set of stairs lower you're head and not you're eyes . keep in mind that compared to a single vision lense you're prescription is not spread out in the whole lense , they are a lot of different progressive lens out there and depending on the store you went to , lots of them start you of with cheep crap just to make an extra dollar ! they are a few question an optician should ask when you purchase progressive , the most important one is what do you intend to use them for mostly : are you a light reader , do you spend lot of time on the computer , do you work in an office where you will be reading a lot etc , as i said there is a lot of different lens out there ! not that i want to advertise for a company but one of best lens out there is NIKON , they are definitely worth the difference in price ! another factor is , the care given by you're optician as mesurment are VERY important in fitting a customer with progressive ! if you have different question , dont hesitate to pm me !!! have a good day

There aren't many decent women in Winnipeg, I'm baffled where you would have found 30 different ads to inquire about. My current fave has her hands full meeting the demands of her regulars, she has no need to advertise. And like many, she has a real life that severely limits her SP time. Manitoba, you say a professional woman would respond. That is irrelevant. You just do not get it. You have no idea what a volume of inquiries some SPs get, they could easily spend hours per day answering them. If she has all the business she can handle, why would she? FYI, I drove one local SP home from the airport after her holidays. She had HUNDREDS of messages in her phone and her computer. Do you really think she would waste her time answering them all? I had lunch with another popular lady on Saturday, in the space of an hour she had about ten inquiries.

I had someone recently make the statement that I was responsible for their pleasure. Which started me thinking that a lot of people, not just in the SP dynamic but also in real time relationships think this way as well. I do NOT believe I am responsible for anyone's pleasure. Each person is responsible for their own, I am but an instrument of pleasure bringing my own unique talents, attitude, and body to the table. I am not a mind reader, so if something I'm doing could feel better or be done in a different more pleasing way, share this and allow me to pleasure you better. I am here for your pleasure so I want you to feel as good as possible. If your expectation is that I am responsible for your pleasure and what I do or don't do, even on first meeting, reflects my standing as an SP, then many SP's may fall on the negative side of the balance sheet which isn't fair. Yes, I know life isn't fair but shouldn't we take some responsibility for ourselves?. It's one thing when there isn't that connection or appeal, that's something you can't fake. However when I hear "it wasn't done the way I like it or how I expected" it makes me want to ask where they were because they apparently weren't fully present as a participant. So, just a frustrating happening that gave me food for thought. Maybe my thinking in flawed in that this industry does make us responsible as SP's/MP's for someone's pleasure but I really hope it's more the exception than the norm. Does anyone have any thoughts on either side of the equation?

My experiences are the same as what has already been expressed. A word of caution. Until your eyes have adjusted, be very careful when descending stairs. When I first started wearing progressive lenses, I almost tripped several times going down stairs.

I know for myself, when reading a magazine or the newspaper, I find it easier to take my glasses off For work, when I'm inputting on the computer from a file, progressives are great, the file is close, the computer screen and keyboard a little further away, and I can see all clearly And distances, no problem seeing at all RG

I'm no lady but will comment any way. I believe this is the reason there has been a proliferation of travelling girls hitting Winnipeg in the last couple of years. The scene here by and large has become a train wreck. And it's not just BP, EC has it's share as well unreliable providers as well. I agree it takes a bigger person to admit when they are wrong and to say sorry. Second chances it seems are rare these days and when deserved they should be given. However I personally think that the lady in question should have to prove herself before being allowed back on EC to Advertise. Ladies such as myself invest ALOT of time, effort and money into their business and advertising and when ladies such as the one in question pull their borrowed photo stunts - it affects us all. Let her prove herself here and then extend the privilege of advertising on EC. Too much BS like this goes on in this business and it needs to stop somewhere, or at least be used as an example that it will not be tolerated. Others who pull this BS will see that she got a firm reprimand and hopefully think twice about following in her foot steps. I know we all make mistakes, but this is a matter of knowing better and knowing it was wrong, yet still doing it. Why use real photos on one site and fakes on another, it makes NO sense. In the last year, on this board alone we had more stolen websites, ad text and photos that were caught by members than I can count (and I was a victim on more than one occasion)

You would think that but b.p. is very lucrative (as a business) and nobody seams to boycott it. I think these days the lost revenue is pulling the ads because of the bait and switch. The sites who allow this are being rewarded by your traffic and support! I am really loosing faith in my "integrity and reputation is more important" values.... Most of the guys stick around and pay the ladies after being bait and switched (very few leave) and sure they will complain after on the discussion boards but what good does it do if he still pays her? its lucrative for the bait and switch advertisers to do this to you all cause many of you pay them!! ...also... most of the guys support these sites like bp that allow this to continue. Hard argument to make cause bp makes a hell of a lot more revenue then ec right now. EC wont stay this way forever if you all continue to support the sites like bp... It is just not smart business to do that as you have to stay competitive. In the case of nicole here she had a vip ad with a number of extra cities (average 200.00 a month in revenue for ec), she has been off ec since october....so that would be approx. 1000.00 in lost revenue just from that one account. Multiply that by the 20+ advertisers per month that EC refuses to run ads fr due to fake photos and complaints and over a year period its 10's or thousands of lost revenue (and the sites like bp who allow it all get that revenue and your traffic).. ...Not to mention the manpower it takes to research every new ad where bp does not have that need. Truth is .... The industry is changing because of this and its only a matter of time.

Mod I understand that you saw verification photos but withpassions story is all to common with Nichole, in person she appears much older and nothing like the photos. If she's telling you no one has left her before she is not telling the truth. I have heard from more than one disapointed client, not just from Ottawa, from other cities as well like Kingston and out west. Can all these guys be wrong ? My advice to her is to be honest with herself about who she is and what she has to offer, there's someone for everyone and if she's more upfront about herself,she will appeal to clients looking for exactly that rather than promoting one thing and offering another. I'm all for second chances as well but it's not like she hasn't been made aware of the fact that the use of fake pics was not cool, yet she continued to do so over and over again NEVER in any ads explaining that the photos were for "demonstration" purposes she only came up with that when finally confronted by you. I'm so passionate about this type of deception not only for the customer who works hard for their money, but for the providers who don't play games, who use real photos and go to great time and expense to use real photos. When someone like Nichole advertises in a respected venue like EC it makes the customer question the validity and authenticity of the EC site and question every other SP's REAL photos. No surprise I voted no. Of course as I've said over and over it's your sandbox and I respect whatever choice you've made and will not raise the matter with her here in this forum. I will respect the popular consensus of this group and hope that she has truly reformed and can appreciate the damage she's done.
