Hey guys, I just wanted to share this with you, it's a project that I was working on with a good friend of mine: www.autismartauction.com In a nutshell, her son has autism and he has been unable to receive quality services from our healthcare system, and she's been pushing for an autism crisis centre fro some time... Since she hasn't made any headway in getting the government to put up the funds for it, she decided to start fundraising to get it built privately instead. This is also a personal issue for me, since one of my brothers has Asperger's Syndrome; I wrote a piece for the Huffington Post talking about how families need to be integrated into treatment to improve outcomes for people with autism, and together, we decided to launch the 1st Annual Autism Art Auction to raise funds for the crisis centre, and couple it with an episode of Sex Brains & Money! :) The concept is that based around the fact that a lot of people with autism seem to have strong creative abilities in other areas, so we encouraged people to donate their artwork, and we would auction it off as part of the fundraising effort. So please, check out the link, watch some of the clips, and if you're so inclined, please feel free to bid on one of the many great pieces in our gallery! We also did interviews with a number of professionals who've studied autism in different capacities, and included those on the website as well. Thanks for the support everyone, this is a cause that's close to a lot of people's hearts and we really hope we can make this happen, and improve services for people with autism across the country. :)

joe64 contacted me yesterday with a text that read.... '3pm incall?' I was at the Dentist's and responded to him as soon as I had turned my cell back on. I explained myself and apologized for missing his text. But I also went on to tell him he would have to include more than what he did in his next text for an appointment. You want me to give my body to you and you think ' 3pm incall?' is sufficient as an introductory first text and that my asking for a reference is a hassle? I think you may have a couple of things to learn before you start worrying about your race. I know for myself, if you properly introduce yourself and conduct yourself respectfully towards me, race is not an issue. I believe that gentlemen come in all shapes, sizes and colours.

Very well said Soleil. Although I 99% of the time ignore texts, & the reason for it is because of their approach. U available, or where you located. Not a single hello or an introduction. Eventually what I see having happened here was him getting a lot of pm's wondering who this apparent racist SP is. You asking him to tell him a bit more about himself is far from being racist. He seems to be quite hung up on his race & unfortunately he thinks that the ladies will decline him an appointment due to it. Going back home to spend some quality time with family and all the four legged furry's I have at home. A funny thing happened. I run a cat rescue. Well, a cat showed up last week. He was not a stray cat and he was determined to come inside my house. I thought, some people are so ignorant, why would they drop off a cat at my place. He was friendly, clean and looked similar to another cat I had neutered and found a new home for, but this one was smaller then Tommy. So, I put an ad on kijiji about a found cat, hoping he had just run away. Didn't get any responses, but I kept feeding this cat. Well, took him to the vet to get neutered, and it turns out he was already neutered. Well, I was looking at him the other day (not home often, so only saw him a couple of times since he arrived), and realized that he was in fact Tommy. That same day, the family that adopted him contacted me to say this was their cat, he had run away 2 weeks ago. So, I am glad that someone didn't abandon their cat with me, that Tommy obviously loves living with me. His new home was at least 3 kilometers away and it took him 2 weeks to reach me. Must be doing something right with these cats if they insist on coming back to me. I've spayed/neutered 18 cats so far, and counting. At least Tommy didn't need to be neutered twice. I thought it was funny that not one of us realized this was Tommy and not Jr. Ya gotta laugh at life sometimes.

Well to be honest I find your question a little unfair to the community and in particular the 3 ladies you identified. I'll leave your reference to the local gals aside and frankly understand your point of you. This. I struggle with even a 30min appointment, what could possibly get done in 15min? Take off coat, shoes, and clothes; shower; then put clothes, coat, and shoes back on? I could count on 1 hand the number of threads congratulating members for meeting the 100 post count (and they would all be female) , I will watch with interest to see if it is a trend, I think not. Yes, you do, and that is my point.

I think it must be legalized but with stringent conditions to prevent abuse- such as children putting pressure on parents to undergo the process so as to gain an inheritance. I am certain it will be legalized by mid-century in many first-world countries. In the meantime those who have not had somebody dear to them afflicted with a terminal illness and undergoing severe pain must cease pontificating about the sanctity of life. I am reminded of the holy and pure and protector-of-life judge who, at sentencing, humiliated the late Dr. Kevorkian for having helped a terminally-ill patient take her life. I wonder what the judge would do were she or someone dear to her to face the same circumstances as the individual who turned to Kevorkian for help.

I know of three instances, all cancer, where the bedridden victims howled out in pain and begged to be killed. I don't know if the hospitals are trying to cut costs by cutting back on pain meds or what, but fuck it if I ever get in that position. You work your ass off until the end, then you open the booze, start the generator, get shit ass drunk, and then walk through the shed door and then into the next world. Easy peasy.

As others have said, it's very important to discuss this with your nearest and dearest while it's still a future possibility, and before it becomes a real issue. I had a couple of long conversations with my parents and siblings about this over Christmas (festive, huh? :) ) - my parents have done quite a bit of thinking about it, and have made a point of making sure their wishes are clearly and unambiguously written down. Those include both courses of action that are currently legal (DNR, withholding treatment, etc) and those that aren't yet but may become so (a graceful exit with active assistance from a third party). It also covers the circumstances under which others may take control of their affairs, and who those others are. I've done the same. It's all a bit morbid, but I think it really ought to be done... and if you haven't had these conversations with your own families yet, it might be an idea to do so. If nothing else, let them know your wishes (after all, you never know when you might be incapacitated), and remember that when the time comes, written instructions are far better than a badly-remembered conversation from several years ago. And if you find it tough to broach the subject with your own parents, it may be that telling them your wishes will get them to at least think about the question. Of course, the big problem with all of this, when you're dealing with a person who's on the way out, is the potential for abuse, especially when there's nothing written down; it's an unfortunate fact that there are those who will abuse this sort of thing to get rid of people with malice aforethought, and any legalization of euthanasia would have to address this. Finally, my recollection from previous reading on the subject is that it happens all the time, even without being legal. It seems that many medical professionals have had that moment when the family, or the patient themselves, look you in the eye and ask, "Is there nothing you can do?"... and you know exactly what they mean. And so, if the doctor is willing, a dose of the painkillers that the patient's already on is given, but the doctor forgets to record it on the chart, and so the next doctor to come round a few minutes later repeats the dose... and what happens, happens. It would certainly be better if there were some sort of legal way of doing this.

I may be able to help as I have offered massage to couples. If you have to convince your partner, it may lead to someone feeling out of their comfort zone and create an uncomfortable situation. Ok this thread is kind of getting hijacked and becoming about if an escort should shower after an outcall which she should, as for where she should that is up to her. As long as the host will not be involved in any other physical activity with her then I don't see why it should matter to him. As for a provider doing one outcall after another without showering in between that is wrong but is up to the other gentleman to decide what to do in the case the lady has poor hygiene, is not the previous host's job to make sure a lady showers to protect (assuming she will see one) her next client. My point is, making a lady having to shower at the location where she had an outcall a rule not only is not doable but it also would not change anything, as you said both parties, providers and clients have to try to do as much research as possible on someone before meeting that person, it makes a huge diference!

To Mr. Capital Hunter: I have been an escort for over 15 years, and I have never taken a shower at after an outcall because I feel more comfortable doing in my own home and it has nothing to do with fear of being attacked or robbed.
