An early wish for a very happy fathers day to all the dads and those lucky enough to still have their father in their lives. What makes a Dad God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree, The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea, The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night, The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle's flight, The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed, The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need, Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add, He knew His masterpiece was complete, And so, He called it ... It's pretty clear to me that the huge amount of public education we've been doing since Justice Himmel's Ontario court decision, the Picton hearing and the Ontario Court of Appeal decision is just a start. If the SCC decides to uphold the OCA and, by extension, Justice Himmel, things will be in flux for quite awhile and public education will need to increase. For example, the public should know is that there are many thousands of independent paid companions in Canada and that we've been working in their neighbourhoods for many years, very quietly and discretely, without causing a problem for anyone. Most of us don't want to change what we're doing or the way we do it. If we haven't caused a disturbance already, it's highly unlikely that we will in time to come. People will raise concerns about noise, traffic, parking and any potential dangers related to lust-crazed men roaming around their neighbourhoods. But most of these concerns are unrealistic. Noise problems are municipal by-laws offenses already. As for traffic and parking, well, I know that a psychiatrist lives about a block and a half to the west of me and that he sees five or six patients in his home every weekday. They park on the street. There's a marriage and family therapist who runs her practice out of her home, about two blocks north of my home. She probably has five or six meetings per day, too. As for me, I haven't seen five or six clients a day in years. But even if I did, that traffic wouldn't be any greater than the psychiatrist's or the therapist's. Heck, a family with three active teenagers is likely to have more people arriving and leaving during the evening and on weekends than I ever could. So we'll need to talk about the scale of our work and the kind of impact a one or two-worker brothel like mine has on the community. Bigger establishments are a different matter, but they also can be regulated via municipal by-laws, building codes and the like. I think that people will quickly begin to understand that these places are not going to spring up overnight, like mushrooms after it rains. No one knows how many will open, or where, or who will fund them. There are ladies who want to work in publicly recognized brothels, but no one knows whether there's enough clientele to support more than a couple in most cities. I don't want to work in a multi-worker establishment: it's just not my style and, after all these years, I don't want to change. I'm also quite certain that virtually none of my regular visitors would ever consider going to a known brothel. Their privacy is extremely important to them. This is why I don't agree with Miss Jane when she says that "the whole foundation of discretion nowadays is dependent to a large extent on the existing criminal laws". The criminal laws have influenced the way that many of us work, it's true. But I think that many people will have enduring interest in privacy and discretion even if the laws change. Perhaps one day, decades from now, the social climate will be different. But I doubt that my guests or I will be alive to see it. As I've said elsewhere, if the SCC strikes down the laws and prostitution is decriminalized, I think the major focus will be on multi-staff, commercial establishments for quite awhile, not on independent companions. The large houses will attract a lot of attention. But regulating independent women like me is a much greater headache because our work varies greatly. For example, I usually entertain one person a day. For much of the rainy winter, I met them at my home. In the last two weeks, I've only seen four visitors here. I've met everyone else in hotels, mostly downtown. Now, I've been working for quite awhile but most paid companions join our profession for less than six months; the next-largest group works for just under a year before retiring. Keeping track of all of us is all but impossible. What will the public accept? It's very hard to say. Different communities, different neighbourhoods and different parts of the country will probably take different attitudes and approaches. Vancouver will be very tolerant, in general, much as it is with marijuana. Toronto will probably be almost as accepting. But Red Deer? Regina? Fredericton? I have no idea. I wouldn't be so sure about the difficulties for independents, Curve. That is, legislators and by-laws writers may try to regulate independent companions, yes. But will they succeed? We are notoriously difficult to regulate, now and highly adept at working around laws, restrictions and limitations. I don't imagine many of us will change. I for one will accept whatever advantages new legislation may bring and am more than likely to reject restrictions that I don't consider to be of benefit to me and my visitors. I've been quite comfortable working outside the bounds for a long time and am prepared to continue, if need be.

If someone starts off a text without an introduction by just saying "rates?" "address?", what will they be like in person? Just shows they have no regard for the SP so when people send me those kinds of texts, I don't answer back. If a guy can't address an SP properly, it tells me a lot about their character.

Not funny or cute but very interesting. The actual numbers proving why roundabouts/traffic circles are better than traditional intersections. - A 37 percent reduction in overall collisions - A 75 percent reduction in injury collisions - A 90 percent reduction in fatality collisions - A 40 percent reduction in pedestrian collisions

Once in a while you come to realize that so many of our members really don't "get" the whole hobby experience, or rather, they understand that there are rules but believe they are somehow exempt. So let's help them. Let's give some handy tips to make this a more wonderful experience for all. This is a pleasant place so let's keep it constructive... and be aware that the rules shouldn't just be for clients, you can also add some helpful tips that may help a new provider too! Here goes: 1. Appointment time is at 2:00 pm, what time do I arrive? Ummmmm. Hmmmmm. What part of 2:00 pm is ambiguous? A 2 o'clock appointment means you are at her door at 2. Not 1:55, not 2:10. It's seems petty but when you screw up her schedule, you may be screwing up MY schedule. I may be the appointment at 3. I have things to do... and my schedule may not be as loosey goosey as yours. I may be using a very small window of time or I may have "commitments" that see me arriving like clockwork elsewhere. Regardless, when the little hand is at 2 and the big hand is at 12, be where you are supposed to be. 2. "I am awesomely wicked good in bed, and I often masturbate to pictures of myself nude, because I am that good looking. Can we negotiate a better rate?" In a word, No. Would you go to a restaurant and say, "I am a really good eater, can I get a better price on that steak?" Would you go to a lawyer and say, "I am an awesome criminal, can you represent me for free?" Would you go to the dentist and say, "My teeth are so bad that you should fix them all for $50!" A service provider gets paid at a set rate because she is a professional. She is good... no, not just good... wickedly awesome good, at what she does. Your part is the compensation, her part is the wicked awesome part. Pay the pretty lady and be happy. 3. Cleanliness is next to godliness. Ever step into an elevator and stand next to someone who smells like they have never met a bar of soap they liked? Ever met someone that looked like they were an extra in the Walking Dead? Have you ever gone into a bathroom after someone and wondered if they ate something dead? Step one. Go to the potty. Do your business. Wipe. Wipe again. Wipe again. and then, wipe again. Do the optical test. Last wipe. Is there any residue? If yes, start over. If no, then proceed to step two. Step Two. Shower. Clean EVERYWHERE. Rinse. Repeat. Did you pay attention to anywhere in particular??? Hmmm??? Go back to those places. Make em sparkle. (at this point I do suggest that artificial glitter is NOT necessary.) Get out of the shower. Towel dry (for pete's sake use a clean towel!)... apply a generous amount of deodorant/anti-perspirant. Brush your teeth. (if additional grooming is required, please do that too.) Step three. Clothing. Go to the place where you keep your clean clothes. No. Not the place where you put the stuff that you THINK you can wear again. The CLEAN clothes. You know that stuff that you just took from the dryer and folded nicely?? That's the stuff. Wear that shit. Uh oh... what if I have to do step one again?? Then repeat ALL the steps. Cuz skidmarks are not sexy. Febreeze showers are not acceptable. 4. I have to cancel, what do I do? Give your head a smack. With a hammer. Stop. Now take a pointy thing and stick it with great force into your upper thigh, avoiding the artery. Now, go to your car. Start it. Open the door, put your foot beneath a tire and have someone put that car in reverse. Cancellations? NOT COOL. We all know that shit happens. A death in the family. A sick kid. Decapitation with farm machinery. Thermonuclear war. Explosion of your planet from a death star ray. That shit is acceptable.... but you still owe the pretty lady an explanation AND a cancellation fee. When you cancel, providers don't eat. When providers don't eat they get distended bellies and look like kids from the CARE commercials. When you cancel, providers give not only you, but also your city, a bad reputation. This makes you masturbate more. Because you will never get laid again. Ever. You will over develop muscles in only one arm. Your clothes will fit poorly. People will figure it out and suspect you are the notorious masturbating king of cancellations. They will hunt you down and kill your family. Let's keep little Bobby and Joanie safe. If you make an appointment, keep that appointment. Your family will love you for it. 5. "I'm a little short on cash. Do you think she will notice if the envelope is a bit short?" In a word, yes. She will also point out that your penis is a bit short.... and that your skill level is a bit short... and that you cry like a bitch when you have your pathetic little man-gasm. Do you want that??? Do YOU WANT THAT, bitch??? Wow. That was a bit over-emphatic. Gonna step away from the computer and take a valium. BACK!!!! Where were we... yes. Shorting your provider. Not COOL. Remember, providers have special powers. They communicate telepathically. As soon as you walk out that door, she will know and so will all of her allies in the super friends. They will combine their superpowers and make sure that you never get wood again.... and if you do, it will be at inappropriate times... like at funerals or family gatherings or when talking to your grandfather or something like that. Seriously?? Give your head a shake. If you are short then GET the money and make sure you have it set aside BEFORE you book. You will have a wickedly awesome good time... just pay the pretty lady what you agreed to and enjoy! 6. Can I pay her in drugs? Hmmmm. Does your banker take drugs in lieu of money? Have you offered Rogers drugs in return for their cable/home phone/cell phone/internet bundle? When you get groceries at Loblaws, do they have a special drawer that says "financial equivalent in drugs?" You know the answer. "No, you addled-pated simpleton." Remember the distended belly part from above? Providers take cash because cash buys groceries, pays bills and looks pretty. Carrying cash will not get you arrested. Using cash is the engine that runs our capitalist society. "All you need is cash, cash is all you need." The Beatles sang that, I think. Your turn....

Welcome, first time seeing an escort? You won't forget it! It'll be fantastic, just remember a few things. The recommendation is a great tool. Pay attention to previous recommendations, everyone I've seen has had some mention of their incall place being warm and inviting. It's those little things that matter. Perhaps someone here could be more specific with a name who is actually local to the city.

I was invited to see a special needs class perform the musical Grease. Those kids with their unbridled joy, excitement and pride was truly inspiring. They had a ball !Their grandparents and parents were so pumped! It was very cool. To me it was a good reminder of what it's supposed to be all about...... Unbridled joy, excitement and pride. Peace MG

I read a latest article regarding the Bedford events this week but that's not what started me thinking, it was a comment made afterwards. His argument was that if everything becomes legal surrounding prostitution then it becomes a legitimate profession which means it will then need to be brought up in schools and via guidance/career counselors as a legitimate and viable option. Of course he went on to say do we really want to give this options to our children or have it discussed in schools and no, we do not. My thought is WHY NOT? The only stigma surrounding it is what people place on it. If there were a sudden shift in perception of course it would be legitimate. I'm sure there are people out there who have the right attitude and skills and interests that this might be a career choice for them. Porn was always a career choice and yes, people wanted to get into porn, still do. It's funny that there is less of a stigma there than with prostitution. My point is, this SHOULD be an option for those who want it. Just because others don't doesn't mean it shouldn't be on the table. Everyone focuses on sex (which already causes people to become hinky) but there's so much more to it. This is a profession of HEALTHCARE and MENTALCARE and even those in it for the money or for the notches on their belt, get the benefits whether they are focused on them or not. Whose to say that decriminalizing prostitution won't have positive impacts in other industries. Sex Surrogates or Sexual Psychologists who could never touch only talk, might now be able to show and make greater strides with those suffering. Pleasure might make it into nursing homes and elder care where even the aged deserve to feel good. HEALTHCARE and MENTALCARE!! Think about it. Yes, it's sex but sex just doesn't make us "feel" good, it makes us feel GREAT and studies on the positive impacts of sex prove this. There is so much more at play here then just incalls, living off the avails etc. This is about bring the benefits of sex out of the shadows and from behind closed doors and giving it to the people. Letting them decide what's good and right for them. So, hells yea! Offer it as a legitimate profession and all the other professions that could benefit from it as well even if indirectly!

While I can quite happily go without it, in the right mood dirty talk can be a lot of fun and a big turn on, but only if both people are comfortable with it. For me, it's only enjoyable when it's natural and spurred by passion. I only engage in it if my partner instigates it or indicates they enjoy it. Only then do I feel comfortable enough to join in, knowing I'm not going to ruin the mood or unintentionally make someone uncomfortable. As with most activities, nothing can make me comfortable with something faster than knowing it turns the other person on. An aside to Malika: I'm not sure "I sucks balls at it" is the best phrase to use around here if you want to indicate you're not good at it....

I dont use the same language when I correspond with clients than I use to talk with my friend. The "Where r u?" arent very professionnel. If you have to contact your lawyer, doctor or whatever.. I dont think you use "hey wassup" kind of thing. If this is a regular client, this is a different thing but for first approch... "wanna fuck?" "where?" Sorry, its a BIG turn off!

Plato has already provided an excellent commentary on this. What I'd like to add is that we should remember that prostitution (the exchange of money or other compensation for sex) in Canada is not a criminal act. It is legal. Nothing in the Supreme Court of Canada's decision will change that legal fact. When we talk about "decriminalization" of prostitution in Canada we're referring to the activities associated with it (bawdy houses, solicitation, living off the avails etc). In other words, "decriminalization" in Canada doesn't deal with the "what" it addresses the "how". Since prostitution is already legal, if there is an issue of discrimination it already falls under Provincial Human Rights legislation which generally prevents people or corporations from discrimination "based on a characteristic or perceived characteristic". As Plato pointed out the Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects "individual" political, civil and linguistic rights from being violated by excessive and unreasonable "government laws". The Supreme Court decision won't suddenly introduce discrimination as a new issue. Additional Comments: There's quite a significant difference between a Criminal Code violation and a municipal bylaw violation for a zoning or licensing infraction. A criminal conviction related to current prostitution laws can result in jail time. That's hardship enough for the person convicted, but it also has an impact upon family/dependants. It can result in children being placed in foster care or affect child custody cases. A criminal record will arise in criminal records checks for employment, thereby limiting future employment and income opportunities. In other words a criminal conviction follows you for the rest of your life at significant financial and emotional cost to an sp and their family A municipal bylaw infraction on the other hand is like a parking ticket. It won't recriminalize sp's. You pay the fine and it doesn't result in a criminal record. You carry on with your life. In the most extreme instances it might result in an injunction or cease and desist order requiring you to move the business and obtain the appropriate permits/licenses. That's inconvenient, but a huge advance over the current legal situation. Municipalities will try to restrict and specify where prostitution services can take place. That's what zoning laws do. For sp's working discretely by themselves from home, a rented apartment or doing outcalls, municipal zoning bylaws and licenses aren't really going to change anything even if municipalitues prohibit prostitution services as a "home based business" or "home occupation". Sp's will carry on with their business under the radar, regardless of bylaws and there won't be any "crackdowns" by municipal bylaw officers. Bylaw investigations will only occur if there's sufficient activity to draw the attention and complaints of neighbours. No different than now really. No harm no foul. Brothels will be where the real zoning debate will occur. If you look at where and how strip clubs and massage parlours are currently permitted in your municipality that will give you a pretty good idea of where and how brothels will be permitted.

I could be totally whack but seriously I believe this could help create a safer and more understanding society if it were decriminalized. In school nowadays, with all the bullying going on they are starting to treat it, by educating the kids about it and consequences. The same for depression and suicide. Suicide is considered a sin in some religions and frankly was never discussed when I went to school. Knowledge is key, educating kids about both side of prostitution the good, the bad. How to stay safe, leave them chose for themselves after they've learned these things. Giving more people to enter in the industry for the right reason and not the wrong ones. Perhaps the increase of workers would decrease the demand and reduce sex trafficking and underage. I'm probably dreaming but it may even help some woman with the self esteem and body image. There are types for everyone and where one may find beauty others migh not. It truly is a form of healing I'm living proof. I think the benefits would outway the negatives. As for the whole health plan and retirement plan. It is possible to contribute to private companies that offer medical insurance. As for retirement well everybody should consider investing in a retirement plan cause the way our gavernment and politician seem to be wasting our money I don't think there will be much left when I retire in 30 some years. Today alot of professional athletes go to college and get some sort of education to fall back on, well lot of provider are doing this to pay for their education. I'm sure it's given them so much experience, as an entrepreneur and life experiences. Meet people and learn from them even teach their clients something. It took society how long to realize being gay is ok, it still has its prejudice but so does everything else but it's become more except able to society lets hope the same for prostitution.

Were it not for Lee Richards, I would know nothing about traditional Croatian penis warmers. But thanks to his thoughtful, detailed and in-depth evangelism, not to mention well-positioned advertising, I am confident that I will be able to retire in the lap of luxury. I'm also confident that Mr. Luxury won't need to wear one of these. After all, keeping penises happy is one of my specialties! Thanks, Lee!

When I pay money to see a lady, I'm there for the whole experience. That includes conversation, visual stimulation and mutual enjoyment. When it comes time to get down to business, it's always up to the provider to do what she feels comfortable with. Does a bbbj feel great? Yeah. Does a CBJ feel gross? NO! It feels pretty damn good too! And if the person doing it is someone you enjoy looking at/ talking to/ and generally feel comfortable with than it honestly doesn't matter and would never even factor into my decision making. Just do what you're comfortable with and if you're good at it (and I'm sure you are) the right clients will find you and repeat with you!
  42. 1 point
There is an upside to clients who call and and attempt to pressure a provider. These people are self-identifying as classless jerks who are volunteering to end any further discussion.

That's exactly why the title of this thread reads FOR THE LADIES. Lots of threads on this site are not "for everyone", if you don't like what you see, MOVE ON. No need to tell us why you guys are here, perhaps you'd like to know why us ladies are here? Some of us are kind of horn dogs, deal with it! :P And for the record, some guys are here for "dudes" too! Don't judge! ;) Now to get back on track:

Oh, lordy. This one again? As everyone else has said... do what you're comfortable and happy with. If you only offer CBJ then, sure, it'll be a deal-breaker for some, but there are plenty of other guys out there so I don't think that's worth worrying about. And if you're not happy with what you're doing it'll probably come across, and people will notice (even if they don't really know what they've noticed). And my two cents on this... the presence or absence of a bit of latex is nothing like as big a factor as the talents of the person I'm with.
