I started in this business when I was eighteen, and I have always been painfully aware of the perceptions some people hold of young SPs. I cannot address the circumstances of other young SPs in this business, but I can talk about mine. Necessity was a factor that led me to this work, but I have never felt trapped in this situation. I know the risks of my occupation, and I still choose to do it over other jobs because this job allows me to be creative and independent, teaches me business skills and allows me to connect with people I wouldn't have otherwise met. Is it really necessary for me to have access to other high-paying, 'empowered' positions to make this choice valid? I am not a child. I am a young adult with an enterprising spirit who hates doing shift work for minimum wage and would simply prefer not to have to answer to any boss. At last, I have found work that does not leave me feeling exploited. Please don't belittle my agency, maturity or intelligence with sweeping ageist statements. My age does not make me a victim by default. I have tried to de-emphasize my age in advertisements because I am concerned about the assumptions clients will make about me as a young person. But that isn't really something I want to have to conceal, and I would prefer if people would make the effort to see me as a whole person, and not an age-based stereotype.

To be honest, when I stop having fun and enjoying who I spend time with - I will retire. I may refer to "going to work" and treat it with the respect of a job, however I dont consider what I do "work". Part of the reason i screen is to ensure that we have chemistry - as that way we have a great time.

I completely understand the budget part and that is probably the greatest factor. no one wants to feel like they wasted their budget. That said, life dynamic and if one does not take a risk (even a well researched and thought out risk) then there is no potential for greatness. Remember, all your regular ladies were once a risk (to put it into perspective). CERB is wonderful in that you can explore the person via posts, pictures, PM, and a variety of interactions here before you make the decision thus reducing the risk. If someone is ringing your bells at a distance, chances are they will do the same in person provided you go in with an open mind, openness to the person and no expectations. I for one, believe that a life without risk and potential for greatness is a life not lived. Enjoy what you can when you can. When it's good, give thanks, when it's not, be thankful for the experience (because there is always something good in the experience). in the end, the decision is up to you and what sort of risk limit is comfortable for you.

The maturity of middle-age is great, I have it and like it in ladies whether they are 23 or 43. I think most people find it got better and and better with each season, though I have to say I personally found it pretty compelling right from the start. That first season took its time but also had some high points: Walter's dilemma about killing Crazy 8, and the "this isn't meth" scene to gain the upper hand with Tuco. The show charts Walter's descent as he gets drawn deeper and deeper into a high-stakes, violent, and complicated enterprise while battling his own ego and thirst for power after a largely powerless life. It does take its time so that each step in that progression makes believable sense, and to examine the effect on Walter and the people around him. I guess you have to enjoy watching those character moments, and Walter's steady distortion away from where he started, for the show to really seize you.

I agree with one provision: that's equally true of both sexes. If you're a doormat for your partner, that partner will eventually tire of you. Relationships are supposed to challenge us and help us grow beyond who were are when they start. Our partners should be our equals who support us and who we support in turn... not mere providers for a particular set of needs when we happen to feel like it. As others have said already, there's too little information in the original post to offer specific advice. But on the assumption that the OP is looking for just some general advice that can apply to all relationships, I'll offer this random list, which has a common theme of communication: a) Know what kind of things you expect from your relationship in the short, medium, and long term. Make sure you and your partner are on the same page with respect to where you're going, and when you want to hit the milestones on the way. (Even if the answer is "meh, let's just see what happens," that's cool as long as you both feel the same way. Find out.) b) Recognize that your partner is just a regular person, not a magical answer to all your dreams. Most of us start out with pretty dreamy, mostly unspoken ideas of what our partner should be like and all the wonderful things they should do for our lives. But if you're going to be with someone for a long time, learn to measure them for who they really are and where they're going, not just by counting how many of your personal boxes they tick and how often. c) Respect your partner as a separate person, and make sure they respect you. Every relationship has a power dynamic. It's okay if one of you is stronger than the other in some things or at some times (money? social skills? knowing how to do particular stuff?); but this should balance out in the big picture with contributions in other areas. If not, this WILL create tension and could doom things in time. d) Grow together. Don't stop working at life just because you've got someone. Be on the same page about this. e) money: the scourge of so many relationships. Work out a budget together (for immediate and long-term stuff), figure out how much you should each contribute to a joint account to cover those joint expenses. The rest of your earnings (such as they are) are yours to spend however you like, so agree ahead of time not to hassle each other about how you spend it. If he's covering his contributions to household, mortgage and savings, don't hassle him when he adds to his collection of Star Wars action figures! And you, mister, be quiet about the shoes! (Or, you know, vice versa.) I could go on but that'll do for now. Would be happy to see how others would add to the list.

I agree. I advertise on BP, and always recommend cross-referencing with cerb to confirm. Remember, not all ladies on BP are scam artists, but do be careful. If no reco's here, or if "I have seen her, and will not see her again" comments exist, that tells you something. If you want to see a lady and she is not on cerb, ask her if she has ever used cerb before. If she says yes, I hate that site, then that might be your answer. If she has never heard of this, maybe she will create a profile. Also, you can check out Cowboys Diary as you are in Ottawa. That will also help you spot the cons. I let my BP clients know about cerb. A lot of them have never heard of it, and are pleasantly surprised it exists.

I find the main difference between men and women, is that men want to fix things, and women want to listen. Just listen, if he is not willing to take your advice, just be a sounding board for him. I have only felt 1, sorry 2 enhanced breasts. It was a nice job by the surgeon with no scarring or folds. That is what turns me off about it. If there are visible scars around the areola or under the breast or odd folds in the material, it doesn't look right to me. I like big, small, medium and enhanced. I'm an equal opportunist when it comes to boobies.

Not all implants are hard. There's different types, and they give very different results. The ones that go under the muscle (and deeper in the chest) add volume, but leave fairly unchanged - and therefore "natural"-feeling - chesticles on top. Other implants go on top of the muscle and are more noticeable, but vary hugely depending on what's in them (silicone, saline, other stuff), how well they're placed (some are just wrong; you'll know 'em when you see 'em), and how big they are compared to what the recipient had before (e.g. someone who went A -> DD will probably come across as having more artificial boobs than someone who went B -> C, all other things being equal). I just find the atmosphere here so much more pleasant than the other boards that cover Montreal and Quebec City. The Green Board is like a grim prison movie: it's jam-packed with characters, but really run by couple different gangs with long scores to settle. The "guards" are swift and severe, but there's still tons of violence that gets out of hand way too fast and there's plenty of outright misogyny toward the handful of women brave enough to maintain a public presence there. The Blue Board is like a Michael Moore movie: they hate the green board and that's really all that is important. The Pink Board is in French, so it's easy to say it's like a Foreign Movie in that I'm not exactly sure what is going on, but there's likely to be some toplessness, a trip to a rustic summer home, and the villain from "Quantum of Solace will probably show up at some point. Hmm, maybe I sacrificed my metaphor for a few cheap jokes there. Anyway, for a lot of reasons Montreal is my preferred destination, but this my preferred board.
