I started in this business when I was eighteen, and I have always been painfully aware of the perceptions some people hold of young SPs. I cannot address the circumstances of other young SPs in this business, but I can talk about mine. Necessity was a factor that led me to this work, but I have never felt trapped in this situation. I know the risks of my occupation, and I still choose to do it over other jobs because this job allows me to be creative and independent, teaches me business skills and allows me to connect with people I wouldn't have otherwise met. Is it really necessary for me to have access to other high-paying, 'empowered' positions to make this choice valid? I am not a child. I am a young adult with an enterprising spirit who hates doing shift work for minimum wage and would simply prefer not to have to answer to any boss. At last, I have found work that does not leave me feeling exploited. Please don't belittle my agency, maturity or intelligence with sweeping ageist statements. My age does not make me a victim by default. I have tried to de-emphasize my age in advertisements because I am concerned about the assumptions clients will make about me as a young person. But that isn't really something I want to have to conceal, and I would prefer if people would make the effort to see me as a whole person, and not an age-based stereotype.

Saw this on another site and thought it was such a great post I'd put it here for others to read:) A young woman went to her grandmother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed that as one problem was solved, a new one arose. Her grandmother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to a boil. She brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. She then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, she asked her to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The granddaughter then asked, "What does it mean, Grandmother?" Her grandmother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity -- boiling water -- but each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior. But, after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. "Which are you?" she asked her granddaughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg, or a coffee bean?" Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity? Do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength? Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and a hardened heart? Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor of your life. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hours are the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you changed by your surroundings or do you bring life, flavor, to them? ARE YOU A CARROT, AN EGG, OR A COFFEE BEAN?

This is part of the reason I really enjoy working where I do. It's a flat fee for the room and my company! The tiered offerings always seemed to create a lot of confusion. If you communicate with the person you are going to see you can get the financials out of the way up front. This ensures that any tips that are beyond that are a token of appreciation for the encounter. I believe that just like any service industry the tip u leave should be in line with your own comfort level, and the service you were provided. I believe tips are not required, but I definitely remember the gentleman that offers one. In short in my opinion the answer to your question is that if you communicate up front you will never be left feeling like you shorted the lady, and anything above that is a kind token that will definitely be appreciated. Just found out about an hour ago that an old colleague and a very dear man was murdered yesterday in Toronto. One of the gentlest gentlemen, soft spoken, polite, calm and a very sweet disposition - I haven't seen him in a few years but this was like a gut punch - life is so precious and it can be taken away so easily....

I completely understand the budget part and that is probably the greatest factor. no one wants to feel like they wasted their budget. That said, life dynamic and if one does not take a risk (even a well researched and thought out risk) then there is no potential for greatness. Remember, all your regular ladies were once a risk (to put it into perspective). CERB is wonderful in that you can explore the person via posts, pictures, PM, and a variety of interactions here before you make the decision thus reducing the risk. If someone is ringing your bells at a distance, chances are they will do the same in person provided you go in with an open mind, openness to the person and no expectations. I for one, believe that a life without risk and potential for greatness is a life not lived. Enjoy what you can when you can. When it's good, give thanks, when it's not, be thankful for the experience (because there is always something good in the experience). in the end, the decision is up to you and what sort of risk limit is comfortable for you.

I've no idea if this would be possible, but I was thinking of a search criteria that might be useful to have when looking up posts. Currently, you can use the search function to find a specific person's posts and sort them by date, views, etc. You can of course also go from their profile and find all their posts, threads started by them, and posts that have been thanked. What I'm thinking is that it would be neat if it went a step further and there was a way to sort a person's posts in order of the rep points received. That is, the posts a person made that were most nominated/thanked would show first. Many people say that much of what they like about Cerb is the chance to read posts by various members as a way of getting to know them. People mention that when they consider seeing an SP or MP they'll take a look at some of their posts; likewise I'm sure a potential client's posts are sometimes browsed to get a sense of them. If there was a way to quickly see someone's most thanked/nominated posts you'd probably get to see those which most reveal their attitude and thoughts. It would let members old and new quickly find the "best of" each person's contributions. Anyway, if possible I'd think people would find this kind of sort function useful. Or maybe this already exists and I just haven't figured out how...?

In the recent past, there was a general rule of thumb for tipping of $20 per service. This may not apply everywhere though, and can tend to be location-specific. First, of course, there's the "door fee", which usually ranges from $30 to $70 depending on duration of the session and the location you go to, daily special deals, etc. This is the part of the fee that is given to the spa for their administrative costs, such as rent, maintenance, and advertising. If you go to see an independent, they still need to pay for these sorts of costs for their own place, so you would include it in their fee as well, but they would call it their basic fee. The door fee or the basic fee is usually all that's ever given over the phone, the rest is discussed in private. The tips are usually discussed directly with the girl, but some indies may give you the overall fees on the phone. Now as for the tips, as mentioned it operates on a $20/service rule of thumb. First charged service is usually the HJ. The next service is whether you want the girl topless or nude; topless is $20, nude is another $20. So a topless HJ would be maybe $40, while a nude HJ would be $60. Then some girls offer extra services beyond that, such as bodyslides, etc., which could be another $20. Now in most spas, they'll never itemize it that way, they would consider it crass, but they usually just suggest a tip between $60 and $100 is suggested. But that falls somewhat into the $20 rule of thumb range too, maybe a little more.

There are some ladies that I see on a repeat basis. I see them because I like them and enjoy the companionship and escape they provide But I also see new ladies too. I read their posts on CERB, emails and pm's and from that determine if there is enough chemistry/connection and schedule an encounter. And quite often I'm pleasantly surprised, and meet a lady I want to meet with again One of the joys of this lifestyle is it's poly amorous nature. And seeing new (and unknown) ladies doesn't preclude you from also seeing known ladies for repeat. The maturity of middle-age is great, I have it and like it in ladies whether they are 23 or 43. My problem is that I look like that 100 year old leather bag of which you spoke.:) Additional Comments: I agree with much of what H man said. There are 20 year olds out there who can pass for much older, but if I see a teenager I can almost invariably tell as they just look like my little nieces no matter what they wear or how much ink they are sporting. Yes you know you're old when 40 somethings are hot babes, 30 somethings are young chicks, 20's are kids, and 19 year olds look like they were just potty trained:)

I have generally stuck with women over 30 feeling that there is a higher likelihood of them being mature and responsible. Also I am comforted that they have been around long enough to have fully considered being involved in this business, are comfortable in their own skin and are participating with a fully informed consent. And, like Halifax Man 58, younger girls are not really very often stimulating to me. I also wonder how a client determines if a lady is 16, 18, 19 or 21. How do you ensure that you are not involved with an underage girl if she says she is 18? Do those who see younger ladies ask for ID? Do you take her word? Does CERB do any check before allowing her on this board or just when questions are raised? I am pretty open minded about trying different experiences but I have never seen anyone younger than late 20s due to concerns about this. I would be interested in how people think the risk of engaging an underage girl should be approached.

Long distance relationships are hard enough without the people involved making them worse. Not knowing why the break up of the girl and her ex occurred, it sounds to me like she is still keeping those fires burning and if he's in the same place she is, chances are they are seeing one another in some capacity. Very seldom to romantic partners stay friends after the dust settles so for the conversations about him to be ongoing, he's still a factor. If he's feeling he's doing all the work, he probably is because she's distracted by this other person. If he hasn't already had a serious talk about this with her and how he's feeling, he needs to. If he has and this is the result, that is a clear indication the "relationship" is on the way out and should be let go of. I understand he loves her but sometimes you can hang on past the point of being good for you. In a long distance relationship especially, both partners need to be putting the time and effort in to make one another feel important. Communication is key and so is regular commitment to the relationship whether it be by phone, text, Skype. If it's one sided, like any relationship, it's not going to work. It's his choice what to do now. He knows the truth whatever it is, he just needs to keep going and stop complaining (choosing to continue the game) or he needs to step away and find something better. Sounds like the horse has been beaten...

I think most people find it got better and and better with each season, though I have to say I personally found it pretty compelling right from the start. That first season took its time but also had some high points: Walter's dilemma about killing Crazy 8, and the "this isn't meth" scene to gain the upper hand with Tuco. The show charts Walter's descent as he gets drawn deeper and deeper into a high-stakes, violent, and complicated enterprise while battling his own ego and thirst for power after a largely powerless life. It does take its time so that each step in that progression makes believable sense, and to examine the effect on Walter and the people around him. I guess you have to enjoy watching those character moments, and Walter's steady distortion away from where he started, for the show to really seize you.

Age and attraction are two different concepts. Attraction is an emotional and psychological process. Determining whether it is right or wrong based on age is a cognitive process built by culture, media, social learning, etc. I've never been with a woman older than myself, but have felt that several of them were older in the way they acted. My age limit??? I look for mature as I'm an older guy and I find mature women attractive. Having said that, there are some very mature 26 year old ladies and some very immature 45 year old ladies..... I'm looking for mental maturity. BUT.... I'm old school. When I was growing up 21 years of age was the age one became an adult. Never would I consider anyone (regardless of their apparent mental maturity) younger than 21. My comfort zone is really a lady with some life experience - usually, she has seen her 40ith year.

Normally when you Visit a Spa/ Massage Parlour there is a door Fee that can range between 40$ and 80$ depending on the length of the appt.., also can be higher if you are looking for something longer than 60 min.. and/or Duo Session.. Tipping can range Between 60$ and 120$...l again this is at the discretion on the lady and to be discuss directly with her If you were to be looking at an Indy.. most of them offer Package prices.., so is a one fee that includes all..., Also some of spa ladies like myself... also offer packages (all inclusive prices) so that there is no suprises to the gentlemen that decide to visit... Fairly stated, but I'm expressing my opinion, an opinion developed through personal experience and witnessing what can happen to someone so young in this business. Not assuming:)Nor am I saying I'm right and everyone else is wrong. I just stated how I felt about the subject, just as you have and thank you for doing so:) This is a subject that many will feel differently and strongly about. We all are entitled:) and entitled to our feelings and opinions as well:).

The sp only access ladies currently can not see hidden profiles but this is causing issues with verification, because of this council has voted and we would like to grant any verified sp (sp only access) the ability to view hidden profiles (to help with the screening process) so this announcement is to let veryone know that in a few weeks (if we can get this working) the sp only ladies will be able to view private profiles (for screening and security). This way no "bad" clients can hide from sp only ladies. If anyone has questions or objects you can pm me or comment.

I had a friend -- who, at the time, was 31yrs old and had three children. Happily married, and they had a healthy sex life. However, upon her and I discussing, she told me she'd never masturbated.
