Like others, a persons marital status doesn't bother me. Many SPs are married or in relationships also. Would that deter a client? I don't have time for a client who speaks negatively about his wife however, and if I encounter this I will not repeat with that client. But that has EVERYTHING to do with respect, and nothing to do with marital status!

I don`t judge. In fact 90% of my clients are married. I understand, I was married myself once upon a time. There is no need to hide your wedding ring when with an SP. However regarding what Savannah said, I don`t like when clients berate their wife. I don`t need to know as some clients prefer not to mention their marital status. I offer complete discretion but trash talking ( i,.e. my wife`s a bitch or a lazy ass) leaves bad taste in my mouth and says a lot about that person. A true gentlemen would never speak of his wife that way. However I have had clients speak very complimentary about their wives if they are comfortable bringing it up. I`m not in a position to judge so it`s none of my business to begin with unless of course the client has no issue discussing things like that. Part of my job is not just providing a service but also being a good listener.:)

I agree with what RG said. Her safety trumps my privacy and honestly, if I can't provide her with some sense of honesty about who I am, then I shouldn't be in this lifestyle. I don't pick up ladies off of street corners here. It should never be an issue to have a phone that is not blocked or to provide her with some basic info. As for references, that could be hard if one hasn't been with a lady registered here but I would think if I have been with other ladies out here in the west on CAF, for example, or a touring lady, their reference would suffice for a lady in Halifax if I was in town visiting. And if it's a first foray into the hobby, then politely say so and there are some ladies who do offer first-timers. Pretty simple really.

The point is, if this had been one of my customers behaving so boorishly, I'd have pulled over right there on the dark, deserted stretch of highway, and invited him to step out. I'd show no mercy. Besides, the fresh air on the long walk home would obviously do him good. Even decent men, like my husband, routinely put women in situations they know they will be uncomfortable in because it's easier than making waves. And sometimes women end up being more than just a bit uncomfortable. This happens to thousands upon thousands of Canadian women (and maybe even Canadian men) every day. And yet, we need Big Brother to make a law to protect me from my customers. Sheesh!

Unwanted sexual harassment. Oddly enough, this didn't happen in my job. As a sex worker, if someone is out-of-line, I shut that shit down quick. Last night, I found myself being treated to some very much unwanted attention. No problem. I can handle it. But what makes me mad is that everyone involved, including my own husband, knew this was going to happen, but rather than "cause any unpleasantness," no one made waves. I was on my own. I could make a stink and be the asshole. Or I could just grin and bear it. And again, you guys are probably thinking Christine's a tough old battleaxe. She can handle herself. And you're right, I can. But the thing is, outside of my husband, no one else in the situation knows who I really am. To them, I must look like someone's very modest and timid wife: a woman who dresses very modestly, conducts herself very modestly, never goes in the bar, never parties. So this group of people all must surely know what this guy is like, and yet, rather than make any unpleasantness, they do nothing to stop it? This is what makes me mad about a lot of this C36 stuff, and the presumption that my job somehow puts me at risk for harassment, assault, exploitation. Maybe that's true for some sex workers, but it isn't for me. Despite all the sanctimony, the fact is that we, as a society, routinely turn a blind eye to women being put in situations they might find anything from uncomfortable to threatening to dangerous, simply because no one wants to rock the boat. They'll make laws to protect me from my own customers, but turn blind eyes to what happens to women all around us every day.

For me it boils down to us all being people, individuals. We all have a back story, we all have needs, wants or desires. I provide a safe open environment so someone can visit, enjoy and explore. It doesn't matter their story or situation, what I provide is judgment free and supportive. That's the nature of being IN this industry. My dog was bitten by another dog the other day, in my own home, because he was near the other dogs food. One of the punctures is getting infected and the poor pug has been so sad since it happened. Last night, when entering my high-rise building, someone on the 18th floor, in the apartment situated right above the building entrance, threw a beer bottle off their balcony. It actually made my hair flutter that's how close it came to hitting me. I called the emergency super, but it looks like they didn't do anything because the broken glass is still outside. If people throwing bottles down 18 stories at 10:30 on a Saturday night isn't an emergency, I honestly don't know what is. That could kill people. Gotta say I'm glad to be leaving this building, I'm not at all a fan of the management here for many reasons.

I've been quite quiet about this bullshit bill but I am so sick and tired of the fear it's creating for the hobbyists, it's literally making me sick. I get PM's "You are on my wish list, I need see you before the bill passes", I'm starting to find these PM's insulting, I as many other Companions are established and safe to see no matter what and I'm upset that the hobbyists are in such a frenzy of manic panic and that is what they want. Screw the bill if it passes, we will need to change the language when communicating but how hard is that. Make a list, possibly an Excel sheet with the established, reputable and trusted Companions you see and want to see with all their contact information (Name, email, phone # and website), password protect it and either put it on a USB or email it to yourself or whatever but put it in a safe spot. One guy has a thick newfie accent. He was talking about chasing squirrels. This conversation went on for a while when I asked "so what do you do when you catch the squirrels? ". In the car on a hot summer day, even with a/c you can sweat up a storm. So even if you shower earlier it is nice to have one on arrival. It only takes a few minutes and will enhance your session.

I find that the NuDen is the most female/couple friendly club in the city. It's not unusual to see female patrons there, especially on a Friday/Saturday night. They have a high stage with two tall poles, so you get some nice stage shows, and the champagne room is also quite pretty (purple lighting, lots of mirrors, comfy couches big enough for a couple + dancer) if you decide to go for dances. As an aside, couples can sometimes get ignored in the club, so don't be shy about asking a waitress/bartender to send over a dancer that's into the ladies, or take matters into your own hands and tip a dancer that appeals to you when she's on stage and ask her to join you later. Actually, get your wife to tip a dancer on stage anyway, because that often ends up being a fun time! How it works is that your wife lays down on the stage with a tip and the dancer will sort of dance on her and give her some naughty attention. Nothing too naughty, but it should definitely get your wife going if going to the club is her idea!

This had happened to my dogs too, she was gashed so badly that the vet could not stich it together:( Took many months to heel, and almost had to face an amputation! I've never noticed a correlation between donation and level of screening A gentleman has equal regards to ALL WOMEN and their safety concerns and screening protocols. Their dollar donation amount doesn't play into their safety concerns at all and what method that lady chooses to use for screening. They choose a method that works for them and helps keep them safe As for what I'll reveal to a lady for screening purposes, whatever she requires. If I don't trust her with that information then I shouldn't be booking an encounter with her...why book an encounter with someone you don't trust Finally, yes a man's privacy a legitimate concern, but a lady's safety is even more a concern. And safety trumps privacy each and every time. So many contradictions! Legal to sell but illegal to purchase. Legal to communicate for the purpose of selling, illegal to communicate for buying.

This is a reputable agency and has only recently expanded their business to Ottawa. They don't seem to advertise here on cerb but they do elsewhere. I have not used their service yet, and so far, I have not heard anything negative about their business or their ladies. Instead, they seem to receive good comments about their service and the quality of ladies they've brought in from cities like Toronto and Montreal.

The way I screen is almost entirely on my intuition but I do not accept blocked calls. I screen clients and they don't even know I'm doing it. It's called my sixth sense and it's very well honed. I pick on so many different things when I speak to someone for a few minutes. They could be so polite to me but my radar is always on alert. I may pick up on something they say and it will bring up a red flag. I've very good at reading people and this is the way I screen. I am established and reputable enough and I think if this bill becomes law, many men will be looking for established ladies and not risk the fly by nights or unknown ones you see on other sites. Other hobbyists will wait it out to see what the outcome will be in terms of how law enforcement will handle these new laws. Do you really think LE has the budget to set up clients regularily? I'm sure there will a few men who will be made examples of by LE intially but I'm sure most hobbyists will set out and do their research first instead of calling any unknown Jane Smith from BP for example. That is a site where you will see a big change especially with explicit advertising. My advice to hobbyists is to get a secret hobby phone and not in your real name. Chatr wireless does not require you to give your real name or provide identification. Say it's a gift for someone and tell them you want to put it in their name with a fake address. This is probably the best way to do it. I do not book from blocked calls or payphones and always to check to see if someone is trying to hide their number. I'm aware of all of that. If a client wants to play secret agent, forget it. It's a two way street and it's a give and take. I will not be going to hotels or anybody's home. I rarely do that now anyways unless I know the person. I prefer my own surroundings.

This is very old and tiresome but if your discretion is important to you my safety doubles or triples that and more. Its totally fine with me if you don't want to disclose a lot of information on a first meeting but you need to have at least two reference's from this board that I either know or they have a presence here. Today alone I answered my phone to private numbers that were new people to me and they were appalled to learn that I don't book appointments in this manner . ( I use my cell for other things as well) One person was kind enough to tell me he is a visitor to Halifax and would love to see me. When I told him I don't make appointments through a blocked number he hung up on me . Yes a juicy potential date, I bet not. I am very understanding of all peoples needs but if you are not willing to give your information to be properly verified or have a good reference's its not just not worth me risking my safety.
