I love Christmas. I believe in the spirit of Christmas. To me its a time for giving. Its a time to show your care for more then just yourself. All year round I do my best to help where I see need but at this time of year my efforts are doubled. On the one hand its the most happy of times and on the other hand its for me one of the saddest times. I think I do so much for others just to hide the sadness. My sons never call me. They do not realize how much a simple call would mean to me. I have my daughter with me but this year she will be at her moms which is good because she is trying to reconnect with her mom but that leaves me alone at Christmas yet again. So she and I will have Christmas on the 26th. I will spoil her as always. We put up a small tree and my nativity set and have the best Christmas we can. So merry Christmas to each and every one of you. If you want to live forever make a memory in someone elses life. Help someone. Make them smile. Show them this world is a beautiful place with caring people.

I loooooove Christmas I love the season. Friendships come with costs, it's a give and take, sometimes costs are shared, sometimes they are one sided, but when a friend doesn't support you because it may cost them something, then it's my opinion, that person is not a friend-simple:) A friendship is a type of love, it can be complicated, if you make it so. But actually love is simple, it is respect, understanding and being supportive. It is wanting the person you give it too to be happy, to advance in life, to respect you and to want to share in all your struggles and successes and you in theirs. It comes with highs and lows and should stand the test of time-if it's true:)

Ok I will admit to not reading this thread but...I cook bacon once a week for whomever wishes to consume it lmao. I just like the smell!

You can do all of them bacon, cheese and gym.. Just don't eat any man made processed carbs. lol. It's called the Atkins diet! Been there, done it and ate a whole lot of bacon with eggs every day and lost 7 lbs in one week. It actually lowered my cholesterol. lol Despite what people say about this diet, it is safe to do and there is no proof of it as being dangerous as health officials speculate. There's no proof and you can eat carbs but you start off at 20 grams a day of carbs which is 2 slices of bread. So go ahead and eat that cheese and bacon sandwich Lee Richards! It was the only program that kept my blood sugar levels in check, had tons of energy and always slept very well.

In order to be fair to the east end girls who work those spas, in order to accommodate bringing in west end girls, there would have to be some kind of rotation. This may not be feasible and may actually hurt their business in the fact that regulars depend on them being at a certain location. I think it's been said there are a lot of options in the east. As for being fussy, my view is if someone really wants to see a girl who is in the west, then take the time to go see her in the west.

One good smartphone may not be the answer for everyone. Some don't want to pay for a high-end phone or may have a smartphone that was provided by their employer. I may just be the exception but i never really got the benefit of a separate hobby phone.. in my opinion i think it would just increase my risk because I would have to explain why two phones. My preferred approach is to have a good smartphone (BlackBerry Passport for example). That allows you to turn off or customize notifications, has password access and that you can use privacy Apps to hide text and email messages from companions in encrypted hidden folders. I also use a contact management app that allows for hidden contacts that are only accessible with password. This approach has worked for years and the security features are easily explained due to the work info on my phones. I am able to openly chat with many companions with little concern about privacy. I say let somebody read all the babes and huns and whatever they want in my texts. It means absolutely nothing and never will. Women call me hon all the time in public places. Cashiers, bank tellers, my customers (some old enough to be my grandma and that is really old), ladies I hold the door open for at the post office who I don't know. The list goes on and on. Well I think everyone who has contributed to this thread are all right. I hate when the word 'feminism' gets construed as men hating, or someone out to get men, etc etc. And it also saddens me when it's an accurate depiction. It should not be. All feminism is, is the desire for things to be equal. And yes, we have gotten to the point where you can open a bank account without the permission of a man, but we are nowhere near where we should be. There are still tons of inequalities, from both sides. I have worked in male dominated industrial jobs most of my life. I started working in a mine when I was 19. It was a camp set up, week in week out. I was one of a handful of girls on site. It took 5 years before my 300 some colleagues stopped trying to sleep with me and actually became my friends. I can guarantee you that a 19 year old man has not had to deal with continuously being hit on for 5 years, while trying to politely decline everyone so that you don't come across as a b*ch. This is what feminism is trying to get rid of. Another site I worked at, a few of the older men still possess the view that women don't belong in industry. They have intentionally set up new female employees to do two-person jobs alone. This results in them getting injured. However, men never do this job alone. They always do it in pairs. They set new female employees up to fail just so that they can say "See, women don't belong. They can't do the job." This is what feminism is trying to get rid of. And there are countless other examples I've come across in my years as being a female. The one I probably hate the most deals with our children, and how girls are always told they are beautiful and pretty and have nice clothes and hair, and 'oh, how cute she is'. Whereas the boys get told they are strong, creative, smart, ingenious, thoughful, etc... And how girls who are assertive are 'bossy', and boys who are assertive are 'leaders'. Drives me nuts! We need to start in our own homes and in our own lives in order for change to occur. I have some favourite Ted Talks that are about the subject of inequality. I love the first one, and if you ever listen to anyone talk about this subject matter, this is the one you should listen to. It's a man speaking, if that helps ;-P Also, Emma Watson's UN speech was also brilliant.

As someone doing a PhD in women's studies, let me say first off that there is no one definition of feminism, but as a generalization we can say that feminism refers to the political, economic and social equality of the sexes. There are many different strands of feminism, such as Marxist/Socialist feminism, radical feminism, liberal feminism, post-structural/postmodernist feminism. They all have particular histories and goals. It's much better to think of feminism in the plural, as feminisms, because there are many. In terms of the type of feminism influencing C36--this is a very specific form of radical feminism that was formulated during the 60s-70s-80s. But lest you think this a new incarnation, this type of "rescue the fallen women" has been a goal of middle class white women since the 19th century. Despite being very vocal, they are in fact a minority amongst feminists generally. I generally refer to myself as a sex radical feminist or a sex positive feminist. Those are labels that refer to a type of feminism that is supportive of sex workers rights, as well as trans rights (many rad fems are trans-exclusionary, arguing offensively that transwomen in particular are just men in drag). I would hope you wouldn't paint an entire group as man-haters because of a few bad apples.

I'm a feminist. Always have been and always will be. Do I agree with every statements other feminists say? No. That's what being a feminist is in my mind. Being able to hear others points of views, and deciding for yourself what you believe. Are women still being exploited and held back by a patriarchal society? Hell yes. Will I speak my mind about this? Of course. Society is constantly evolving. I still remember not being able to open a bank account without a husband's permission. We still have a long way to go.

These kinds of posts violate their terms . Instead of posting a counter reply, report the defamatory types of posts and staff will remove them In general, CL every time they adjust their site in some way, there is more flagging. I attribute this to changes in their auto filtering and/or some internal issues. If you are using words or terms that are not blocking the ad, it is still a trigger word. The auto filter kicks in when you notice your ad is deleted before it hit the site. That is not flaggers. it is not the jealous competition. If you want your ad to stay up, fix your ad. It is rare to see enough real flags bring down any ads. The site simply seems to do it's own 'cleanup' if you ask me. For a real report or flag to bring down any ad, my guess is the person has to use their contact us forms and report links that way. Even then if you can't do that 2 or 3 times with spammers, and see their ads come down, then you know the reporting and flagging is not doing the ad removal. Clean up and disinfect your ad. If you can't do that, take all but one or two sentences out of your ad, screen cap the info you want people to know in the form of a picture, and add that info in as an image. Keep your name, phone number out of the text of the ad, and possibly out of the contact section. put your phone number or website name into a picture and add that as an image. the first photo is the first thing people see. I've put up ads where the first photo is a screencap of the text of a much longer descriptive ad posted on another site, like cerb. then the actual photos are the next images. since you can't post an ad with nothing in the text part, i include a few lines. there are words that we can figure are filter words. you won't know what the words are, they don't block the ad if you use them, but something is filtering those ads and that sends the message they don't want ES ads in there.

Should they be excused or treated differently? NOPE! They can get their therapy while they do their time, and if one of mine is ever a victim, they'd better hope the law gets to them before I.
