I awoke to the news that an old acquaintance had suddenly died. We used to be close (roommates for 3 years) but then . . . life happened. As a young man he was energetic, funny and full of life. In recent years he was difficult. His career had not gone as planned, his unhappy marriage had dissolved and he was estranged from his children. I no longer travelled much to his home city so I saw him very infrequently. Writing or calling often felt awkward. I feel sad that his life was as unhappy as it was and for any part I might have played in that. There were things he could have done to make his life better but I could have made more of an effort and helped too. I'm doing a bit of self-examination and thinking that, while it may be too late to have a positive impact on Albert's life, there are others that I love who would love to have me in their life more. It's a reminder (a sad one) to take off the blinders and look around a bit more. Be present in your loved ones' lives.

All of the hard work that I have put forth in the past 2 1/2 years towards goals within my personal life is now paying off! 2014 was a really good year for me, and I can already feel that 2015 is going to be the BEST one yet, have not felt this much HOPE and happiness in years :) :) :)

Going "indy" isn't everyone's cup of tea and certainly not as easy as it might seem, especially now in this new environment. Some just prefer leaving facilities and location issues to some one else. Lots of decisions to make when entering the indy scene, lots more work to do, more investment and much more organization is required if one wants to be successful and develop a longer term business model. Some one once said to me that while there's good money in the game... it doesn't mean it's easy money. Peace MG

This was from January 8th, I have been cleared by my physician after my very long time away healing/recovering from surgery that I have been putting off for too long but I'm strong, healthy and doing very well. Hmmm let me think.... what do I like to nibble on.... what do I like to get my mouth and lips all over as often as I can... it would have to be something mouth watering... can't see myself liking something all dry... definitely the wetter the better... maybe ice cream because I love things I can lick... but no maybe not ice cream is cold and I kinda like things hot and wet.... hmmm this is hard.... the question I mean. I think this thread is kinda sweet, and funny too! I did not get married, I am back in school for the moment. I took a year off to recover from some health issues, and after some much needed healing, decided to go back to school to complete my degree. I miss all the lovely moments I was able to share with you awesome people, and miss all the amazing women in this community also. I have just been on Jenny Craig and I have to say that it is great the food is good and the support is great. I have gained good eating habits and have lost 20 lbs in the last 6 months that I feel confident I can keep off. I think the most important thing about a diet is you have to make a lifestyle change with it.

My daughter says to me come watch a tv show with me Paw. So I sat down and watched my first episode which was part way through season 1. After the show I then watched all the shows I had missed and have not missed on since. I have no idea why I enjoy it but I guess in life somethings are just fun.
