Yesterday was a very sad day for our family. Our dog, or specifically my daughter's dog which was 12 years old and had been my daughter's faithful companion passed away. He was a great faithful dog that wouldn't hurt a flea. We've had many animals at home during the 20 years. At times we had a mini zoo at home. He's had cat's, rabbits and snakes put on him. And he was kind of them all. The last couple of month's had been rough, as he was having troubles walking and had to be lifted up so that he could limp outside to go for a pee. But the last couple months, he had to go outside every 2 hours for a pee :(. I think his kidneys had been failing. My daughter had recently moved out and he was faithfully waiting each day at the front door to wait for her. She did come home every couple of days for dinner and to see him. He was happy each time he saw her. But my daughter was sad as she could see that he was getting worst each day. She is an animal fanatic and loved her dog very much. It was her that suggested that maybe it was time for him to be put to sleep. She was in tears when she said this, but she didn't want him to suffer. She has been coming home each night to spend time with him and to sleep in the family room with him each night, She woke up 3 to 4 times each night to let him out. Last night she felt he was going soon, and bought him a Mac Donald's burger and fries. When we got home he was lying on his side panting. But when he saw the burger and fries, he perked up and gobbled down his meal. Soon afterwards he lied down on his side and starting convulsing and breathing hard and his eye's were rolling back. We thought that he was going to pass soon. The family and her best friend sat with him for several hours, petting and talking too him. We then decided to call a vet that does home visit's to put him to sleep. We did not want to suffer more. We found a vet that could come within 30 minutes. While waiting we surrounded him with love and kept petting him. When the vet arrive. She apologized for being late. She was nice french woman that is serious about her job. She was very caring and compassionate. She kept us informed as to his health status and kept reinforcing to my daughter that she was doing the right thing. His kidneys had failed and he was dying and could be in this conditions for hours before he passed. We told her to put him to sleep. She explained to us what would happen at each state and asked for permission to go ahead. She told us to keep petting him and talking to him as she prepared the needles. First injection was to put him to sleep and relax him. This would take about 15 minutes she said. Meanwhile my daughter is crying and telling her dog that it was okay for him to go, and that he was a good dog. We were all crying as we sat around him. And we were telling stories about him as a puppy. the vet said that it was good that we did not bring him to a vet hospital as it is stressful for the dogs, as they get stressed going to the vet as they have memories about previous visit's to the vet. It is too clinical and cold. It is better for him to pass at his home with his loved ones around him. After 15 minutes, he was sleeping, she administered the final injection that would stop his heart, this would take about 30 seconds. After 30 seconds he stopped breathing and looked at peace. My daughter then cried for a while. The vet was very soothing and tried to comfort my daughter. After giving us time to say goodbye to our loyal family member. We wrapped his body in his favourite blanket and she promised that she would respect the body and bring it home with her until the people came tomorrow to take the body for cremation. She said that would bring back his ashes when they were ready. I was very much impressed with the vet's attention to detail and how compassionate and understanding she was. There was no rush and she kept us informed at all times at what to expect. She even gave us each a big hug before she left. This at home visit was the best way for us to say goodbye to our loving pet. He passed away with his family and friends around him. Our other dog laid on his body after he passed, I think she knew what happen and was looking for him today. He is at peace now and his memory will stay with us forever. My daughter is now compiling all her pictures of him and making a digital album. Just wanted to share this experience with you and if you have to say bye to your pet a at home visit from one of these loving vet's is a great way to do so. May he Rest in Peace :)

I love what I do and have trouble calling it "a job". I only started 6 months ago, and had the chance to be "mentored" by two wonderful professional independent ladies (thank you again my friends). I feel so lucky to have met them exactly at the moment I needed them. I quit two part-time jobs to get into this activity because I needed to experience something else, but also because I was - and am - totally reviewing my vision of life, in general. Let's call it a "big review". This is for sure one of the best decisions I have taken in my life, and absolutely do not regret it. There is way more companionship and psychology involved in doing this, than it is about the "adult games". The real intimacy is this, being human with someone, exchanging with someone. What a gift to give and to receive. And sometimes, it can even become a luxury, because our lives are so stressful, complicated, painful etc... I shared some time with a gentleman a few days ago who just wanted to talk for hours. Just talking and sweetness. This is what he truly needed and wanted. It is moving to think that by just being me and listening to him, offering some sweetness, I helped him a lot. I think that this is one of the best jobs in the world. I also think that people who do not get this job do not get a big part of what being human is. And this is so sad.

Dear regular clients, during this difficult political time and dark winter period: You are appreciated, you are wonderful, you are loved. As much as we are separated by professional barriers, as much as we are not allowed to spend time together, as much as we are both brave enough to defy social norms, you are wonderful. I'm forced for a few months to sit and heal but will not let the slow winter months ever get in my way of my search for my atf. No law or winter storm will stop me from supporting the women who give 110% at what they do. Were all people, and we all need love and compassion. Were here for each other. We stand together and we play together, and we support each other. We must continue to fight together also...fight the govorment to allow us to do what we do in a safer more secure enviorment. It's unfortunate that this business is so one-sided. We put alot of pressure on the men to be perfect. I'm sure if the situation were reversed, female clients would exhibit bad behaviour too. Overall, the great guys FAR outweigh the crappy guys. If someone frustrates you so much, perhaps write them an email? I've found (and matured) over the years that if you let nothing in this business frustrate you for more than 30 seconds, you're golden, and more open to the good guys out there.

Hi nntsci: I do not do business with escort agencies at all, but I would think it should be business as usual and they are just trying to avoid problems advertising sexual services. IMLO, they will not get busted any more now than in the past. Nothing will change. In fact, the agency is doing you a favour. The only time you'd get into trouble is if you meet an undercover police officer. So as long as the agency is reputable, I think you are safe. The fact remains that everyone involved should simply go with the idea that they are buying, or making a donation for, time and companionship. Chatting and smiling. Laughing and discussing world issues. And if the lady decides she is willing to go beyond that (surely because you are soooo cute and she likes you so much), then that is something between consenting adults. Once the Ad is opened, sexy beautiful pictures will gain my attention, if I like the pictures, I will then read the ad, How the ad is written will depends on whether I will read more. Some Ad's are well written, with quotes and thoughts, other's are funny. The short simple one sentence ad's won't keep my attention. The ad should contain a good detailed information on the woman, as her height, weight, age and measurements. and the rates and contact info. I know some of websites, but a lot of us use smart phones, and don't like having click to see more pages on the little screen. What catches your attention in an Ad?

Well what can I say - I've visited numerous ladies over my time and must say Carrie is one of the best - she truly enjoys herself which is very evident during our visits. Someguy, Aww I'm really sorry to hear about your family dog passing away. He knows he lived a good life with you and that's the most important and he passed in dignity surrounded with those who loved him. Having been there twice, once having my cat die in my arms and then having to put down his brother exactly 2 years later at the vet, I feel your pain and sorrow. It never is easy but he did live a good life with you and your family. They are never truly gone tho. He will always be near you. You may begin to sense him around the house and interesting things may happen. My cat used to jump on the kitchen table and knock things over. About a year after he was gone, a plate fell off the table but didn't break. I believe it was him then again I experience a lot of paranormal activity all the time. The pain never truly goes away. These pets always provide unconditional love and become like another family member. I miss my pets everyday and cry sometimes when thinking about them but they often visit me in my dreams and that makes me feel better. Many hugs to you Someguy! xo

I've got quite a few women that I have repeated regularly with and I will continue to see these as the chemistry and connection with them is extremely good. We are at a point where it is good to see each other and catch up with each other's life. Since I've seen them each many times now. This really made me cry, and brought back memories. I'm very sorry for your loss, it really is like losing a member of your family :( I recently had my 12 year old dog pass away as well. We got him when he was a puppy and I was quite young too. I raised him mainly by myself, since my parents at the time traveled a lot. He was my buddy and I loved him to bits. I didn't see him much when I moved out on my own, but about 2 years ago my dad decided to move into his new girlfriend's small condo, and they couldn't take the dog, so I brought him to stay with me. He was starting to get very sick and old by then, since Dobermans tend to have a lot of health issues. It was very rough watching him get older, but I took care of him as best as I could. A month before I planned to move to Montreal, the vet told us he had cancer, and it would only be more and more painful for him. My dad scheduled the time to put him to sleep, but it was the day after I was supposed to move. I spent the whole night before cuddling with him, and brought him Timbits(his favourite) but I didn't get to be there for his final moments, which breaks my heart. I was never much of a dog person, but I loved him so much, and miss having my bud around. Pets really do make your life better with their loyal companionship and love! Posted via Mobile Device

This is so sad. I'm teary eyed reading about it. I have not yet had to deal with the loss of a pet as an adult. Growing up, my parents always shielded us from the heartache. I dread the day I have to face this reality. I've had my cat for 11 years now, and when his time comes I will be crushed and not handle it well. I love the idea of a vet coming to the home and I'm in awe of how you described the professionalism and compassion that your vet had.

I'm fairly new to this, and I am loving every moment! I have always had a large sexual appetite and it just made sense for me to get involved. It is way better than I ever imagined! And it's you gents that make it so wonderful. Someguy - Although I completely agree that we (I) get immense satisfaction out of making others (you) happy, there is also the added bonus of getting satisfied in other ways ;-). As has probably been said before, there are some cities that will not enforce especially situations (like agencies) that have stuck with the time/companionship legal clause disclaimer so that the courts can't pin anything on them. there are some cities that want to enforce the new laws, but the new laws they will enforce are just reworded old laws, meaning only interested in the street workers, so now it means only interested in the street worker clients. As for agencies, just because you enjoyed their very detailed online ads and websites for the past few years, doesn't mean that at any time or in any way was that actually legal. It has never been legal for any agency to 'procure' for clients, that is why in the past no information was ever given to clients by ads, websites, phone calls or emails, no booker would ever tell you what the escort's menu was. Everyone knew you book an agency, you discuss face to face and hope for the best. The concept of full lists and pricing and menus that was illegal before, so no real difference. The agencies that make a big deal out of making the changes just seemed clueless about the laws. There are laws that get enforced, and those that do not. Just because they weren't being enforced, doesn't mean that it ever was legal for agencies or mps for that matter to tell you the client what she the attendant/escort would provide and for how much. So basically, you will have to deal with it and live with it. I think you can be assured that behind closed doors and face to face the agency is still going to hire people who provide the same types of services as they always hired before, and that if you are unsatisfied with someone who arrives, that they will see it right. Even if neither of you can be that specific about what you missed out on or what they can promise.

Many LE agencies have already indicated they've little interest in enforcing the new law and the changes made by the agencies listed above make them unattractive targets for a successful prosecution. They certainly aren't low hanging fruit. Despite this draconian, politically motivated (it simply appeals to their political base - albeit in a rather ignorant fashion) legislation we in Canada are fortunate. LE aren't directed by the dictatorial Harper/MacKay/Smith crew and they do have public oversight of their actions. (Yes, I know there are exceptions and failures in our system, but on balance....). Harper brings LE into his cabinet before sicking them on innocent citizens - think Julian Fantino. The longer the new law is kept from the courts the longer it will last on the books. Despite the fact I've suggested that LE successfully avoids political influence I'm sure that if there is a case brought forward the bullies will hope it involves some dumb fcuk and a street-involved/trafficked/drug addicted/underaged/victimized/pimped sex worker. This is the scenario they wish to hoodwink the public with. They'll go on to claim that only the new law addresses that circumstance. Of course the truth is we already had laws to address those problems and the new law simply makes it more dangerous for those sex workers and inconvenient for the vast majority who are not in that type of situation. I don't think the agencies will get charged anytime soon. Okay, maybe I'll round the value of my opinion up to a plugged nickel!

After being on Cerb for over 3 years now. I've met many women from Cerb, of all sizes and races and ages. I've become on-line friends with many of them thou chat and PM's. A couple of things. Regarding the bias of various health practitioners, my urologist and I joked about that. If what you have is a hammer, every problem looks like it can be solved with a hammer. Regarding mode of treatment, I'm not 100% committed to one or the other. The scheduling of surgery in November is up to me. That looks to be the best time for me to be off work for a month. According to the doc, if I tell him I want surgery now, it would be done by the end of next week. So I get to decide what gets done and when. The benefits of early detection. If I had a top end Gleason score and all that implies things would be happening very quickly with minimal choice on my part. I will never see the name of Dr. Dre the same again. Not now that DRE is a part of my life. That's Digital Rectal Exam. Never knew it had a formal name before. lol Finally, my radiology consult is next Tuesday. That was quick!

sorry to hear about your loss i nearly loss one of mine 2 weeks ago i have 3 golden retievers the oldest 11 it was the oldest one had to get emergency surgery on her.I guess you get to know your dogs after that long because i knew there was something wrong with her she was not moving around like before.i had her at the vet the week before. the other 2 had to go for needles so i took her back they did xrays and seen some masses inside her they did the operation and she's fine now so far but why they didn't do xrays the first time not sure.

Don't allow worry and stress to disrupt your life. As Nicolette said stay positive and positive things will come. Ignore any emails that cause red flags, trust your gut, always. Any emails or calls, texts, etc, that ask of anything forward or illegal are best ignored and deleted. Those things I don't attribute to being baited, more to, just idiots with to much time on their hands.

It hasn't been easy for anyone lately but definitely thank-you to regular clients! You are the ones who help pay the bills and keep a roof over our heads. So thank-you. I know I appreciate ALL my regulars. Imo this new law didn't change anything. Gas prices indicate something else going on BUT January always is a slow month as far as I can remember. I'm just riding it out, change up a few things within my business to accommodate for what is going on and keep a positive outlook. I've said before that stress and worry cause resistance and keeps us from allowing what we really want to come through and that is more great clients, being able to pay the bills and have something extra. Worrying to me is just an exercise in futility. Things will get better! I do a lot of meditation for financial abundance and just being abundant in general. The biggest thing is to believe it will happen and actually allow it to come to us. Worry and fear stands in the way of this. I find just being in a positive state allows the phone to ring more. Imo what I put out there is what I'm going to attract. Love and Light!

It's been wonderful the way everyone has come together. I know we've lost a few good soldiers and dealt with anxiety ourselves. It's lovely to hear from your regular clients that they stand by you and won't stop visiting. Sometimes I receive emails and wonder if I'm being baited. Do any other companions get this sensation? The email is too perfectly worded, asking about specific things, etc. I try to say to myself that paranoia is the quickest way to give in to this terrible law.
