Today being the unofficial start of summer, we have a great season of many visiting, extremely reputable companions planning their schedules to make the trip to our wonderful province. The decision for some to make a first (or a return) trip to NL will depend on many factors, but I would think not in a small way on word out that we are gentlemen that respect them and can be relied upon to follow through on our booking. Remember, this is a business, and if there is no profit to be had, it will gladly stay put or go elsewhere - just not to NL. Support the ladies when and as often as you can. Why dont you go...or dont go? Sorry to hear about your experience Eric. In the future it may be best to ask if it is all inclusive and no additional fees for anything extra. If they go back on their word then this is an unsavory way to do business. I've been told my massage rates were too high by some people but what they didn't realize is that this was all inclusive. They said they could get it cheaper for elsewhere. I told them to text me back when they wanted a quality experience ( not likely I'd see someone who makes comments about my rates) because many quote a door rate type fee or a lower fee and go from there. If that's how they do business, that's their choice but I make it very clear upfront what they can expect so there are no surprises and that there won't be any additional fees.

Often times I have shake my head and just have to laugh, I do feel your pain Eric. I am on average a bit more of a luxrey rate for my local market is accoustomed to. With that said, I often get responds " Ohhh that is so much more than . " I am quick to remind them I do not have hidden fees and tips are not required. But also, I am not going to discuse a menu either. Why? 1. Not everyone is accepted for my total package ...such as hygine ( which clearly you are respectful with) 2. I do not want a client to criminalise themselves. 3. I do not like to commit to activities upon our first meet. I do feel, one's rate should be able to reflect on what you may expect. Now, the enquiry as I described that says, " Ohhh that's way more than. " I know is accoustomed to receiving the traditional mechanical style . But that is ok too, but should be advertised as " Rate starts at.." At the end of the day, you tried, you tested....and that is about it lol You will find some you really like, others could be not so much. But Mature Angela is right that sticking to names and reps that show consistency will prove much easier on your budget.

This is always a losing battle. In every business bad companies and/or people will always exist. While it is frustrating, there is nothing you can do. People will do some pretty low down and dirty things to get ahead but it won't be for long term. These people will be exposed as those who aren't good to do business with and the more they scheme, the more they think they can get away with it. Their arrogance towards what they think they are getting away with will ALWAYS trip them up eventually but one day they will meet their match. I won't get into the specifics of what some people do to get clients ( i.e undercutting) as that has been a sore subject for me in the past and have had to let it go. Like yourself, I am experienced in this business and have seen the changes before my very own eyes. However, like I said people who are unsavory do not stick around long term in the business or any business for that matter. The fly by nights will always only have short term gain and have to keep moving. The ones who win are those business people who focus on themselves and what they have to offer to their clientele. It is inevitable by doing so will garner them a favorable reputation. In the long run this will work in your favor and on your terms that your clients will respect. There may be clients who go and see these type of business people and lose money in the short term because they are thinking they will be getting a good deal or the situation looks appealing but there is always a caveat with the crowd you mentioned and that is the examples you listed above. Focus on yourself and who you want to attract. By maintaining the positives in your business, there will be no choice but to give back what you have projected to your clientele. I promise by doing so, it will come back in a very nice way that is always surprising. ;)

I think the best way to get "rid of bad apples" is to just focus on your own business and promoting the visions you want in the industry - be the change you want to see in the world.... wasting time and energy on others is pointless - "the bad seeds" as you call them.... they always self destruct anyways. Not really sure what is happening in other markets across the country but in St. John's there seems to be a lot more visiting ladies and some local ladies who are advertising lower hourly rates (not dramatically ... like $50 less) then the normal all ( relatively) inclusive rates charged by many of the more established and reputable ladies. I've been following this case closely for years and just last night had a discussion about it with a constitutional lawyer with some great insight into the dynamics of US military motives, children soldiers and human rights. Watching this young mans release, seeing his face after 10 years with a bag over his head (literally) showed me he "did" the time, the time didn't "do" him. He needs time to acclimate, heal and adjust. I feel he is entitled to enter society and screw it up or not, the right we all share as Canadians. As for the dichotomy of Harpers Captain Save a Ho legislation, it was the only option to keep the religious right somewhat appeased. He cares not for sex workers safety or quality of life and that position is mirrored for all citizens who don't fall into the Cons narrow guidelines of an upstanding citizen. There is no logic to it.
