If the two travelling ladies had agreed to an interview, I would agree but our two ladies didn't and they were highlighted with their websites easily identifiable by look, one of them by name and stalked at the airport without notice or consent! How creepy and repugnant is that? Ftr, success in this business is built on discretion and quality clients don't like to deal with a provider who has had her name and business splashed all over the news. It isn't good in any way shape or form for a genuine provider. As someone who has been outted, I know the reality of this kind of publicity and there is no good in it. And if my intuition and sources are correct, the one that agreed to the interview is a provider of less than favorable ethics who has been banned here on CERB for constantly stealing text from other SPs and lying about it and that is one of the lesser of evils in the list of her questionable business practices. The arrogance was at best unpalatable and tasteless. I also sat and did the math on the "friend" who worked 9-12 days and made high $20G's. WTF? Talk about blowing smoke up someones ass! Unless she found a "wounded whale" and slaughtered him without shame or conscience, those numbers don't add up no matter how you run the columns. I'm calling bullshit on the whole article. Sensationalism that skews the publics perception of our industry once again. As MOD said, a slow news day that was filled with inaccuracies and stereotypes reinforcing misinformation that does nothing to improve our work conditions or community support... cat

To set the record straight, I was contacted to participate and I had full intentions of doing so, until they refused to keep my identity private. I received an email yesterday from my Original contact at CBC who had stepped down from this expose after I was taped in an airport. Yes I show my face, BUT on the internet. You find me when you are seeking company NOT looking for puppies. I am very discreet, yet CBC chose to jeopardize my well being, safety and business by airing this crap. I have had to pull my site and some ads (ads which I spend Thousands on a year). I have nothing to hide and I am proud of what i do, just now I wont be visiting certain places for a long time. I had 2 people email me saying my suitcase is now famous....Thanks CBC! The only lady who they interviewed is local, I personal feel she did it as a dig towards the touring ladies, as why else would she use a hotel that is one of choice and clearly not hidden in her interview, as will her comments about competition definitely lead me to believe that since she cant hold her own she needs to rid the competition. No matter how sweet she tried to make the sugar sound, its all BS. I loved the line about the money the touring girl made, SO glad Adam checked his facts, as well as that he checked the photos he used on his report were real (I wonder how many stolen pics got aired) Nothing on this local lady was used, yet he had fun attacking Keissy and I. Id love to know how he knew I was one of the fist off the plane? That thought sickens me to no end. I had a stalker 4 years ago and this is the same shit, just a different level. Plus why no other sources of advertising mentioned? Clearly he wanted to attack this other board owner, which is a shame. Keissy and I were his target as lets face it, OUR websites sell the story a cheap free unprofessional one does not. Yes I am mad, but myself and Keissy we will get through this, we are discreet and Keissy was never even contacted (so low, but what do you expect from an airport stalker) At the end of the day, the support from people on this has been amazing and I am grateful for everyones kind words.

Now men should understand why we ask for references. We don't want our locations and ourselves outed. Our screening methods will be more crucial now.

Your missing the point the lady that agreed to the interview is the only one that kept her privacy.. Give us a picture of yourself and your full name..once it get on every newspaper tell us bad publicity is good publicity.. I found out about cerb by searching the net, when I started learning about computers and advertising online I started searching for escort sites and found among others, cerb:) . I would say its a good sign people come here to ask about other girls, it says they trust this site and the feed back they will get. Judging someone because they do not have a profile on cerb (yet) is not very welcoming to our community. I have no issue with anyone asking about anyone (on or off cerb) here on cerb. It's great when you support the ladies who contribute on cerb but to many variety is the spice of life and finding a NEW jem or TOFTT seam to be very important to many in the community.... When I say Community I mean the industry in a whole and not just cerb. We (everyone involved on any side of the business) should support each other and not just here on cerb, the community as a whole to make it the best it can be for everyone who deserves it to be the best (Obviously not the pimps, bad apples, B&S, etc... we all need to work to identify them and make it NOT profitable for those scammers and bad people). Many of the ladies of cerb did not know about cerb until someone from the site introduced them (mentioned it to them during a date or in a email). The only way the site gets bigger and better is by reaching out. Trying to get the guys here to just focus on the ladies here is BAD for growth of the site and in turn it may be good for the ladies here right now... but a year or two down the road and the site starts to loose traffic it does not help anyone. (and we must think of the LONG run and the BIG picture) If they are new providers to the business .... we want cerb to be a inviting place for them so they do not get sucked in by the BAD and maybe we can show people the positive and good side of the business. Lots of guys get the most thrill from seeking out new ladies (A diamond in the rough) and being the first to recommend the new gems! Some of the cerb ladies see this as competition but what people overlook is how important that is to the health and growth of this site. It all comes full circle and in the long run it brings more people to cerb and increases business for all the ladies on cerb. Good providers should never look at another new or established provider as competition or a threat to loss in revenue. That is NOT the case as it would be impossible in most cities to have any monopoly on this industry and if you did it would still not be a good thing. We all need each other... It's hard to accept but it's true. In the long run it all comes full circle... Even those coming in with low ball hourly rates. It may draw a NEW man or two into the client side and he will shop around and try different ladies. It's all good and we want to welcome everyone who is good here to cerb and NEVER be unwelcoming to discussions, questions or anything like that. Friendly, Fun, Inviting... lets make sure we maintain that for everyone. P.S. I don't care much for RANTS (and Ranting is a BAD idea for any SP) .... in order for the ladies to maintain that nice friendly fun (sexy fantasy) that everyone strives for when promoting themselves in this business... nothing is really less sexy then ranting, fighting, complaining, etc... I would very much prefer a RANT FREE site or any rants to be in the SP ONLY area out of public view (if you need to rant). Friendly mature discussions are great and very much welcome... but every time someone rants, fights, states a mean or unfriendly opinion in public it will absolutely effect how others perceive you (and for the ladies this can probably cause the biggest hit to the income - far more then anything else I would think).

I am doing a garden this year. It has been few years since I took part in my garden hobby. So I am a bit rusty at it. This year I got a topsy turvy tomatoe plant hanger. I will hang it on my balconie. I am considering other containor plants, but unsure which works best in containors or not. Perhaps green pepers? My question, is it too soon to hang my tomaotes outside? I have cuttings that are about 6" tall now. I am in NB, and the weather is hot already. This morning ( 7am) is 13c. Cat is right, in a business where discretion is critical to providers and clients this SP (most people know who she is) really fucked over everyone involved. So much for discretion, who's going to trust this SP now. She touts herself as the highest rated and best provider in the province, what a joke! Great providers don't pull shit like this. I took out some of the numbers form the phone number just in case the mod took exception. The SP's name is Nikki, she is one of the Quebec girls with the black pimp. Total Bait and Switch I was at work, horny and stupid. Broke several of my rules. Booked a girl who was only on BP. Was at work, so couldn't search her name on PERB for warning, spidey sense went off several times and ignored it. They use an Alberta number, but they are from Quebec. Girl at door was not girl in pic. Services offered in text were not offered in session, upcharge for basic services, was told no upcharge from when I first inquired. When I book a date with a lady, unless I have a very good reason or an unavoidable circumstance, I will never cancel. Also, I have too much respect for the ladies and their time that a no-show or no-call for cancelling an appointment will be unthinkable for me. That said, I have had a postponement (by the SP), a last-minute cancellation by a MA, and a cancellation by myself with a SP. The first case involed a visiting and very popular SP who asked for 1/2 hr delay before I left my house. When I got to her hotel, she texted me she would be 1/2 hr late. It was obvious when I saw her that she had squeezed another client in before my appointment since she looked tired and the session was uninspiring. The last-minute cancellation by the MA was while I was waiting for instruction to her incall place and I was already near her area. She gave a reason which was beyond her control. I gave her the benefits of doubt and saw her on another day and had a great time. The cancellation with the SP was because I fell sick and had a cough which I would not want to pass on to her or to anyone. I emailed her a day or two before to cancel my appointment and offer to compensate her for the full amount. She graciously declined my offer and... I have been seeing her regularly since not only becaues of her kind gesture but also she is a wonderful and beautiful lady.

I don't mind a cancelation, someone calling to say they cannot make it after all. I use a booking process that eliminates a lot of the time wasting by the pranksters calling. At the same time I do not double book, if someone calls after the first appt is made I simply let the 2nd one know my next ETA, and he can book that time knowing that i may be available plus or minus 15 minutes from my estimate. I say I might be available earlier simply because the first caller may cancel or may not show up, making it possible for the 2nd to come earlier than expected. No shows are so common that even repeat clients do it, make appts that they do not show up for or call to cancel. No idea why they have the time to make the call and appt, but can't seem to call to cancel or say they can't make it for whatever reason. I would say that out of every 10 appointments made, at least 3 or 4 of them will simply not show up. And I don't mean a vague reference to calling when or if in the area, or saying at 2pm they want to come by at 5pm, then failing to call to confirm. I mean the ones who call from less than a half hour away, set a specific time within then, and fail to show up, and/or the ones who call for the address and fail to show up within the 5 minutes it should take them to get from where they are to my front door. At that point, that kind of caller becomes a safety issue, getting the address but not showing up.

I am not going to expand on the whole subject about cancellations, 24 hours notice or more/less, no shows, cancellation fees, deposits, etc. but I will answer your question with one of the posts I made in the "highlights of the day" thread 2 weeks ago: I broke a record and had two weeks, back to back, with no cancellations... I only accept 3-4 appointments a week so when one or two (or more) are being cancelled, well let's just say it doesn't turn out to be an inspiring week. On the other hand, I've had to cancel/postpone on some of my gentlemen on occasion but I always did find a way to make it up to them in spades, which can't be said when the opposite happens.

Since the vast majority of the population (99 % ?) has no clue about the industry or how it operates they (civilians) would have likely found the story quite fascinating and very titillating. Insiders will obviously have a much different perspective than the media and John and Jane Public for that matter on this topic. There have been stories about Fort Mac and lately from North Dakota a story about a shortage of exotic dancers and I think it goes hand in hand with boom towns. The very exposure the internet provides for meeting perspective clients also puts that same exposure into the public domain. And if I hadn't had some notion of the players exposed I wouldn't have given the story a second glance. The smoke will clear sooner than later and it will be (if it already isn't) business as usual. In light of a recent post concerning a member going through the toughest part of life-losing a loved one. I thought I would start a thread that hopefully will help those of us going through or who have gone through the grieving process. I realize this is a tough and personal subject as we all grieve differently but in the hopes that this thread will bring comfort to some I ask you to share your ways of getting through the grieving process. In my time of need I wrote alot of poetry, went on alot on very long walks, talked alot to friends, family, to anyone who would listen. I just tried to keep busy because when I found myself alone or still I would feel to much pain. This thread is meant to support those who have lost a loved one-human or pet-love is love.

So much depends on one's business model, I think. With new clients, I've had no difficulty about deposits of up to 50% of my fee. If the gentleman needs to postpone our meeting and contacts me more than 48 hours ahead of time, I'm happy to refund his deposit immediately, in full. That's only happened twice in the last four years. In one case, the fellow asked me to hold the deposit for another booking. In the other instance, I refunded the deposit; he re-booked a couple of months later. I don't ask returning guests for deposits. But if I were touring, I would because of the expenses of travel, hotels and so on, which I don't incur at home. I have had to cancel meetings with new clients a couple of times. I was able to informed one client three days before our planned meeting. He chose to re-schedule for another time. Another time, my son was in an accident at school a couple of hours before the meeting. The client was very kind and understanding. He re-scheduled for a couple of days later; I added an additional hour to our meeting time, free of charge, to compensate for his inconvenience. I think that deposits and cancellation fees are just good business practice. Comparing my time and companionship with someone who sells cars or computers isn't appropriate. No one can engage with me unless I invite them to do so: I don't operate a drop-in situation. There's no free tire-kicking, no twiddling buttons and knobs, and no test drives ahead of time. A better comparison might be a boutique hotel, a special B&B or certain fine dining establishments which require booking deposits and have clearly-stated cancellation policies. Some of my out of town clients book meetings several months ahead of time, sometimes for an entire weekend or several evenings in succession. None of them have ever complained about deposits. It may be that others have chosen not to request a meeting with me because of my policy, but no one has ever told me me that the deposit motivated him to see someone else.

I suspect that those asking are the trolls and bottom-feeders who are looking for new girls who they can pressure into offering lower rates or services that they wouldn't otherwise. I'm going to guess that established providers don't see quite as much low-balling as 'inexperienced' girls who are just starting out in the industry. So yes, it probably works sometimes or they wouldn't do it. It does, however, answer the question of whether or not you should bother communicating with these cretins. Ignore them and they'll move on.

No shows are indeed a problem in this industry, but that too goes both ways, although probably more client no shows than provider no shows. When a client no shows he can end up on a black list (I think mostly for repeat offenders) or a deposit becomes required if he attempts to re-book with the same provider that he stood up. When a provider no shows (does not show up for an outcall or does not call to provide incall location) there is not much that can be done other than to not choose that provider again. I have experienced about 3-4 provider no shows with no cancellation and no explanation as to why there was no communication. It certainly can be frustrating in both directions.

I understand the aggravation... but for a first timer, even that "hi" is a big step. This is not an apology for the guys that have been on the boards for quite some time or for someone that has had more than one experience. This is for that first timer. "Hi" is hell. "Hi" is scary. "Hi" means that he has stepped out of his comfort level, regardless of what it is, and decided to delve into a world that is completely foreign to him. We all know the media portrayals; rarely are they positive. But the guy that says just "hi" is going against everything he has been shown and everything that society has told him, and is entering a great big world unknown to him. He may have been debating that "hi" text for weeks. He probably wrote and erased that "hi" a dozen times on his phone and when he finally was satisfied with that message, debated again just pressing the "send" button. "Hi" means that he has decided on extra marital adventure for the first time. "Hi" means that he is lonely and doesn't have the social skills for intimate relationships in the real world. "Hi" means that he and his SO have broken up and is reaching for something to ease the pain for just a short amount of time. "Hi" means so many things, and it could be that you, the recipient are the one he has chosen out of a hundred other possibilities to help him. He doesn't know the next step. He's never done this before. He is scared. Believe me, he is petrified. You are beautiful and sexy and are offering him things that he hasn't had in a long time, if ever. He may stop at just "hi." That may have been the limit of his fortitude. He may just say to himself, "I can't do this." So when you get upset at "hi," please understand that at one time he may have been ALL of us, everyone who gets into the hobby for one of the multitude of reasons that we do the things we do. I apologize if I have offended, all I want to do is give some sense of what that "hi" was all about. I rest my case.

I ahve not been to the dollar in a long time though was not bad then but can't comment now. The place used to be a real dive then they did a renovation about 2 or 3 years ago. Typical expierience there. My likes ..... The NUDEN I think is the best in Ottawa and have gone a bit to Playmate in vanier. Barbs is supposed to be real good as well, if you go there look up Jayda ..... tiny oriental lady and say Hi. I avoid the market .... too many college kids.
