To be honest, if people kept their encounters instead of cancelling on short notice, more ladies would probably come for a visit to PEI. It is hard to justify a trip there when everyone, except for a few gentleman think it is ok to book and cancel with zero notice.

No not all, if that term is being used in a thread (See Cowboy's Diary) Most of those comments are really saving gents the hassle of dealing with fake ad's and scams, or in fact rip off artists. I think there is nothing negative about anyone stating see CK's Diary. In fact saving someone actual harm,or getting ripped off is a benefit to ALL of the gents here on this board that may want to use other sites looking for ladies, he has our best interests. BTW CERB is a recommendation board not a review board. ;)

I think the overall quiet nature of the boards here is probably responsible for that, Katherine. Often you can go more than a week with no changes here, so people forget to check. It's a circular problem because no activity actually causes people to stop checking, and then when there is activity people don't notice it and SPs are likely to think that there is no local demand.

Got the opening and closing paragraphs written as well as the poem written for the family Christmas letter. This letter's been written every year since 1949 by my mother. Due to her advancing dementia this is the second year we "kids" have ghost-written it. We agreed that as long at Mom and Dad are alive there will be a letter. I do my bits. My sister edits it. My brother sees to printing and distribution. Dad signs the finished product. That this needs to be done sucks (rather than her being able to do it) I'm honoured to be able to help.

For myself, I am more likely to visit in summer/spring months. The reason being 2 fold: 1. I have a cottage so it is a win win no matter if I have many visitors, 2. If I do end up with cancelations, no worries...I will head to the beach:) My visits there have gone both ways.... Busy as heck...or too many no shows. If anyone else notices, hotels are very expensive ( maybe winter is cheaper ) so for half of the "inquiries" who actually do arrive, it just doesn't make it :( You can not compare local rates when hotels, restaurants and toll bridges are to considered:( I have cherished friends here, and may plan another visit during winter, but will be at a limited availability. Most ladies here, will advertise for at least a week or 2...why contact us 3 days after we leave? DATES ARE ALWAYS STATED ON ADS...

Not knowing the thread, I will say that we have all been there at one point or another. It is a community here filled with colorful personalities, and sometimes we clash with a few...but then again a few weeks later....we come back together again. Much like siblings, we can disagree, get hurt, or upset, but there is always someone else who understands you. Or we come together and learn the other person a bit better. My mom is 84, lives alone, and called me tonight because her new furnace stopped working. My brother went down first but couldn't get it working, so I drove the 10 miles to her place, put 40 liters of diesel fuel in the tank, bled it, and got it fired up. She wanted to pay me for the fuel and I refused......reminding her of how many times she and dad helped me over the years. Then I sat down with her and went over her bank statements. The part that sucks? Mom was sharp as a tack all her life and now is slowly starting to lose her memory. It's time for the son to become the parent and she deserves it.

Yes and No, if it was bad where it was bait and switch (Fake Photos) or you got put into a dangerous encounter like being robbed or threatened (and you are an established member) you can report it in the correct area. If it was just not worthy of a recommendation or you just want to complain or warn others that the service was below your standard then other sites exist for this - cerb is not the place for that. No, this is a flaw as people do change but if we allowed this then it gets abused. Basically when members look for are RECENT reviews, people will continue to ADD comments to recommendations if they are worthy. A recommendation thread that has not been updated in over a year is often a RED FLAG to many of the members here. We do allow PM's when SOLICITED (Someone asks for specific info) to be sent. For instance if someone says "Does anyone have info on...." and you have some info that may be negative you can PM the person and share this info since they asked for it. An established member can also comment "Based on my recent experience I can not recommend" publicly (but nothing more) if people want more info from you they can PM you. What we want to avoid is anyone slandering someone or just being unreasonable. many guys will have bad experiences cause they have really insane expectations (we have all seen them) some guys show up with Body Oder and crotch rot and complain cause the lady would not offer them a BJ or nasty rotting teeth and she denies him kissing... etc... it happens SOOO OFTEN. These guys will make the MOST NOISE about a lady and try to damage her reputation. Cerb is friendly and positive cause we will not have any part of that.

I feel judged by this thread, which is making me slightly defensive. I apologize if that comes comes across in what I'm about to post. I didn't realize contacting clients and mentioning I'll be touring was considered wrong by some folks on CERB. I've contacted clients in the past to provide them with my schedule before setting up and advertising for a tour. The clients I've contacted have expressed an interest in seeing me again when I'm in town. Sometimes they're someone I've established a connection with and seen more than once, sometimes not. I disagree that it screams 'desperate for a booking'. It's just good business practice. I want to prioritize those I've met before and give them preferential treatment when deciding on when and if they would like to see me.

I would suggest the means of communication would be a big deciding factor. I think you would have had to have seen the provider previously, and expressed some kind of interest in seeing them again. Or, you have exchanged other communications and have some sort of relationship. In that case, I don't think that a quick "Hi I am in your town next week for three days, if you are interested." type PM on CERB would be out of line. If the person said contact me using another means, and let me know when you are in town, then using that means would not be out of line either. (hobby e-mail, text to safe phone, whatever) I see these as informational messages rather than being a form of soliciting. You are letting someone know of an unusual availability.

Generally speaking, no. However if the lady is a touring lady for example, who you have an established relationship with, and you are a touring gentleman LOL (I live in smalltown Ontario and need to travel to see a companion) contact by the lady telling you of her touring dates so you can make travel arrangements is welcome...at least by this guy. Of course I add this caveat, that the client has told the lady that it would be welcome if she could contact him in advance of her announcing tour dates. I've had this happen with three ladies but their contact was welcome, it couldn't at all be taken as soliciting. And they didn't try to solicit me, just let me know when they were going to be in Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa. My 1-year-old puppy stole and ate an entire raw bread dough this morning. Since that can kill a dog, I was pretty upset about it. I canceled an appointment and had to turn down another so I could observe him closely to see if we were going to have to make a quick run to the vet. (On a weekend, of course. Of course!) I haven't really experienced this as I tend to plan ahead and do some research before contacting her. When I notice a lady that peaks my interest I'll do a bit of research by looking at her profile page, recomendations (if she has any), previous posts, and website (if she has one) and read about her and what services could be experienced during our time together. Keeping in mind that YMMV applies for all encounters and that you are paying for her time and not for any services. If there is a particular service that I would like to include I'll ask if it is inclusive or considered to be an extra to the donation for her time so there are no misunderstandings. I find that when you know in advance if it is an extra you can decide if you still would like to include it. Communication is key to any encounter. It does dampen the mood during a rendezvous when she stops what she is doing and tells you that it's extra. If you ask before you meet then you are prepared. Yes some things do occur during the passion of the encounter. We are all only human. For example a lady might offer CIM as an extra and during exceptional oral, you warn her that you are close to exploding and she continues until you do then I believe you shouldn't be reminded that its an extra. In this scenario you would add to the donation as a tip if you are a gentleman IMHO. Morning All. Again, to all my Cerb Family, thank you for the continued support, prayers and best wishes, it means a lot! Sooooo, as most of you know, I went to the Cancer Clinic at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbour to see if they had any ideas on how to fuck this cancer up. Got stuck with lots of needles, probes, scans and ended up pissing in technocolour (with the help of alcohol), see previous post...or not!. There was a conference call yesterday afternoon, with myself and the local docs, plus the docs from Toronto and Michigan. Here is the result: -The cancer that attacked the muscle around the shoulder is rare (around 1 in 750 cancer patients have this type floating around) but not so rare they were scratching their heads. -It spread, however the good news is it missed the lymph nodes under the arm (which would have meant a very short game plan for me!!!) -However it has spread to the lymph nodes in the neck and the muscle that surrounds the spinal cord (medulla oblongata?) that interfaces with the brain stuff. Bottom line, they have deemed it stage 3, with minimal options with significant, severe consequences including looking like a zombie with major holes cut out (unless Walking Dead is going for another couple of seasons and they need a new leading zombie !) . So will continue with chemo about every eight to twelve weeks to try and slow it down, rest whenever, and live life LARGE until I can't function any more, hopefully 3-5 years, worse case 18-24 months. So unless I get hit by a bus or swallowed up by a City of Ottawa sinkhole, or die in bed because of being drowned by Cerb ladies continuously squirting in my face for three continuous days (the CIA should have done this to the Taliban instead of water boarding!!) I will be around Cerb and you good folks until I can't play any more. THE OTHER GOOD NEWS.....IS THAT MY TONGUE STILL AND WILL CONTINUE TO FUNCTION UNTIL I AM PUT INTO THE GROUND!!!!!! This weekend will be spent telling family and friends in Southern Ontario what is going on and probably drinking lots of 30 year old Macallum single malt scotch. Well, that is it for now! I'm not sure either how difficult it'd be to have a seperate section for the frivolous material, but it would be interesting, the General Dicussion could be kept to more "serious" elements of discussion?. They certainly would use space on the latest post section of the main page though. I agree they are viewed quite a bit, and it's my understanding they also bing a fair bit of traffic to the site, which helps in the long run (web traffic = a bit of $$ for the site).

I am in favor of a frivolous general area :) We all need a bit of comic relief, a bit of laughter and a bit of nonsensical fodder in order to relieve some stress so a special thread that could encompass all the pics (best of etc) and games would be great...kinda like the jokes category!
