Suite Escapes, I wanted to personally say I'm sorry you felt snubbed and hurt by having your contributions go unrecognized. Please believe me when I say it was not personal. Unfortunately, I am only one person with many responsibilities and sometimes people are missed especially if they post numerous times around the milestone. Originally I had hoped that others would join in and notice as well however that has not really happened. If I get away from it for a few days, occasionally I miss something no matter my efforts; there are a lot of members. I know this was posted to the community however it is well known I spearhead this initiative. I'm hoping that by saying this, you feel better and from the bottom of my heart I do hope you do because it was not an intentional slight. I appreciate your openness and honesty about the situation. It was pointed out that there are a LOT of silent members. Members who may read the threads or may simply be here to seek out companionship. There may be many who feel left out or hurt. I know in the poll, the majority enjoyed these threads but there was also a group who saw no value in it. And as we've seen, this can change based on personal bias at any point and was only a handful out of the thousands of members. So, perhaps overall, it really isn't a positive venture or instead something that looks positive on the surface but underneath is not. Duality is common it is only when the balance tips that things get questionable. My goal is to be part of a vibrant exciting community of people who support the industry and the people behind it, whether SP or hobbyist. I have to think about what serves that goal best.

You have been a hugely important member of this community, and I for one, am mortified that we allowed your accomplishment to be overlooked. But your post is also a very important reminder, that the proliferation of "milestones" and congratulatory posts/threads, can have the effect of making people who have made important contributions, feel left out and excluded. You have always been, for me at least, a true CERB goddess, and a wonderfully sensitive, genuine, and honest member of this board. Your contributions have been so very important. Much love to you. OK reluctantly I will say this, I love our community, and I am forever giving praise to all that contribute. The down side is, when we over look someone:( When I made my 2000 post, I never had one person congratulate me:( I feel that something so simple can actually make a person feel low. Like all my efforts have gone unnoticed by anyone here:( I felt invisible and unimportant to CERB:( I felt very sad for days, even now as I type this:( I am far to humble to give a hint, or suggest that another would start one. Well, though I know this would never have been her intention, I think it may only be appropriate that the first post in this thread go out to Midnite Massage herself! Not only does she always have kind, patient advice and empathy for everyone around her, but she is often the first person to recognize the contributions of everyone else. YEMV - Your Experience may vary. Every encounter is different depending on the mood and the chemistry between two people. Recommendations are written based on a particular encounter that happens to be enjoyed by the client. A woman with a lot of recommendations can be a good choice as odd's are that as long as you are a gentleman and clean and treat her with respect, you will in all likely get an experience that you will remember. But anything can happen. Either one of you may have bad day, or the woman may have had a bad session before you or may not be feeling well. Or there could be just no connection or chemistry, well it just happens. That's life. But in general I've met quite a few women of cerb and have had some outstanding memorable experiences. I've only had a few so so experiences and those were with women that only had a few recommendations. But I have always been a gentleman and have treated them with respect. Thought it would be appropriate to point out a site -- independentescortsottawa.com -- that holds itself out as a group of independent Ottawa escorts working together but that, in fact, is not. A few days ago, a fellow came in for his first visit. He was very inquisitive, asking all kinds of questions. I find this is normal for most first timer's, they want to get into your brain. I just want to clarify something here.. I work out of a Spa, and I decide what hours to work every week... I just set up my schedule to go around the rest of my life... as I am sure is the case for all the ladies... no matter wether they work out of a spa or not... Visiting an indy does not make it less expensive... if you compare rates for indys and the rates at the spa once youbhave paid all gratuities and door fee. They come out to be the exact same or very close.... Independent ladies also have to pay rent, buy oils, cleaning supplies. .. remember many of them dont operate from their home... so as in any other business There is an Overhead... And in terms of service is all about the lady and the individual... Every MA has their own style., and services to offer.. every MA is going to offer you their own "personalised" experience and has nothing to do with the place...

What kind of person would borrow a phone then call the people in the contacts list? That alone is bizarre behaviour makes me wonder what the sp herself was thinking to lend it out to someone capable of doing that.

Ok, I'll bite :) I was disappointed to learn today that there are 3 Territories and 9 Provinces represented on Canada's 2014 winter Olympic team. The one province that isn't represented is NB. Does this speak to successive provincial governments talking about daily physical activity in public schools but when it comes to walking the walk and funding the Phys Ed specialists at all grade levels.....that doesn't happen. Obesity rates among children and youth is highest in NB. Is there are common theme here? Perhaps a little less public money supporting wealthy families and the likes of corporations such as CN and a little more public money put into education and wellness.

Good thread Sophia. Since I feel that I fall under the category you describe, I may as well take the plunge and reply my first real reply. I am fairly new at this, but I have about 5 encounters under my belt. The kicker is they have always been on the road while I was away for work. Its a little intimidating for me to take the plunge to contact a SP in a place like Moncton as Im a little paranoid that someone will see me or whatever (Im not THAT popular so Im not sure why I even care). I may be the odd man out on this topic but my preference is that when I meet an SP that we are both honest with each other..... now having said that I fully appreciate and understand: * The need to be careful till you get to know the other person before you share to much * The RIGHT For either party to politely say they would rather not answer ANY question. Isn't that expected? :) Wouldn't it be odd if your experience was the same as the last persons? We are all different and so are the encounters we have. Again to justify a great encounter with the number of reco's a lady has is silly. There are great ladies with no reco's, few reco's, a moderate amount and ones with lots. The numbers are not going to guarantee anything other than that sp has met with a certain number of men that have felt comfortable writing about their encounter. It is not an assurance that anyone will be guaranteed a great encounter. To give anyone the sense that the best sp's are the ones with the highest number of reco's isn't truthful, nor fair. Nor is it factual that just because an sp has a lot of reco's that a new client will have a great encounter. Those chances are 50/50 with anyone. A great encounter needs to have two stimulated, like minded individuals that have some sort of chemistry, working towards the same end result reco's or not and to end with a bad result may be the cause of neither person, or both or one or the other. That two has many causes, reco's or not.

I hope the conservatives will go for the legal framework they have in Newzeeland, where prostitution is licensed and brothels are regulated and have safety and health standards. My fear is the current government will continue its dogmatic crime and punishment model pushing prostitution into the dark corners of society making it dangerous for the people working in the industry and those who frequent them.

I wrote my post on this thread about 9 months ago. It's interesting to see what's shifted since then, and in what direction. At least for me, the boundaries between all the different facets of my life shift continuously. Sometimes they are firmer, sometimes they are less firm. Sometimes I feel like I can share everything, and sometimes I feel like I can't. Depends on the context, on the people present, and on my own state of mind. My last post was a lot firmer - "I don't live a double life" - because I believed I lived my life with a certain degree of integrity. I think now I'm coming to realize that sometimes, my life (be it the fact I'm an escort, or a research assistant, or a student) is no ones business. We all have a right to privacy, including the privacy of our thoughts. What I've written might seem obvious to most, but I feel like I'm constantly growing and learning how I want to live my life... I think about this sort of stuff a lot!

There are many that stand out and who should be recognized I think and deserve continued thanks and appreciation for their contributions here, for their insight, intelligence, ability to voice an objective and understanding opinion, who don't pick sides, who are wise beyond words and who's posts I enjoy reading. these are the ones at the top of my list: Cat-A woman who knows how to put things into perspective. I think I know what I'm talking about when I respond to a thread until I read her response. She truly "gets" it and causes me to think again, to look at things in another way, usually the right way. To her I thank, admire and always look forward to reading her responses. There are many others here that are smart, informed, well spoken, and we are lucky to have them. I apologize for not naming them all as I feel they too are stand outs . But the ones named seemed to be at the top of my list. We all have something to offer and to be thankful for. What makes some different imo is how they can articulate their posts without judging, criticizing or being biased. Traits I know I don't often have and ones I envy. I think we are all adults and can distinguish between right and wrong and fair and unfair. I only make rules when people abuse the site and when people bring valid complaints to me.

I've been to both Indy and non-Indy. I prefer Indy because of the privacy issues and the flexibility in their hours. Girls at Spa's work certain hours. Indy girls can make themselves available at different hours and and days. Spa girls have to work within their allotted times. Indy Girls if they like you will sometimes go over time if they enjoy themselves and are not busy. Some spa girls are very busy and have back to back bookings. Rates are about the same. Indy's have to cover their own overhead and supplies. But I do go to Spa's because there are MA's that I see on a regular basis and that's where they work. Both give great service. It's the MA that makes the experience not the SPA. But my best experiences, generally have been with Indy girls. Everyone is entitled to have their own privacy and their own secrets I believe that everyone in life has their own double life, even if its something as small as walking around the house naked when no ones around...(i know thats nothing compared to our double lifestyle, but to that person its as big as ours) I have been caught once (by a close friend) and I tried to deny it at first, but then I realized that if this person truly loves and cares for me, and values our friendship, then they should be able to accept me for me, and they did :) I love this lifestyle and I have no reason to deny it, but I do enjoy the sneakiness of it all ;)
