We as providers and hobbyist are under scrutiny of the outside world. Facing names like John, who** cheaters, pervs, and I am sure much more. But we are so much more than those names. For she had suffered from the hands of controlling people that made her believe so. This made my heart very sad, that such a lovely spirit could ever be made to feel that. This lady is so forgiving to her oppressors, that it made no sense to me. BUT her forgiveness taught me. It taught me, that she is much stronger then I ever could imagine. It taught me that if she could find a way to forgive and move beyond that experience, and yet still remain her true self then no matter what names we are called we can rise above that! She has no wish for harm, only to move forward head strong! I believe that once she learned to be proud of who she is. Knowing that she has value in this world no matter what job she takes on, that by showing her strength her oppressors has been silenced. They are too weak themselves to take on such a strong spirit and self confidence. I wrote this story in a singular stance, but in actual fact, this story is a compilation of many amazing women I have had the pleasure or working with! With each lady that I have worked with, ( as an agent ) this was the common dominator. Once they see how wonderful they are, what life can bring when you are positive and self proclaimed! Same story applies to our treasured hobbyist, so many times I have seen so many grow and learn why they visit. Every now and then I see clients around in my area when I'm out and about and I prefer just to pretend we don't know each other especially if I'm with someone. Most I see with their wives and I act like I don't know them or go in another direction. I would never go up and talk to anyone ever. I give clients discretion and expect it in return. You raise interesting points TT. But... a) You're right, there are exceptions to the "no outing" rule. For example, if a client is violent or thieving, an SP can report that person to the police as they would anyone else who committed a crime against them. Sure the client is "outed", but the client gave up the promise of anonymity once they committed their crime. Now, I can see how some people might conclude "well being a standard bearer for a law that endangers SPs is practically the same thing!" But... hypocrisy is not a crime, and in fact I think it's an understood part of the political game. And more importantly... b) Between the two extremes of "expose the hypocrites!" and "do nothing", there's a WHOLE HOST of legal and ethical options for fighting this bill which are already being pursued. I think the court challenge after its passage is the ultimate remedy. The process of law is slow, but I think on this issue the system can be relied upon to fix this ridiculous situation. While we have these other options to pursue, I don't think attacking a clutch of hypocritical politicians (I'm shocked -- SHOCKED!) in what's effectively very public blackmail is justified. I don't think ANYBODY should be outed based on their profession and occupation. As long as they treated the ladies appropriately and respectfully....and no abuse of any sort took place. The fact that they may be two faced lying bastard public figures.....does not constitute a reason to out them in my opinion and do irreparable damage to their family and friend. My way of thinking is we must always think of all of the other people that get hurt down the line when you take action. Now if those same public figures continue to visit ladies after the bill kicks in and get caught....then I would hope that they may get what's coming to them and everything the book has to throw at them. But that's just my take on it.

Cats are well-documented sociopaths. Touring can be lonely at times specially when visiting a new city...where to go, what to see...and by yourself it can be a long tour. Outing is not an answer or should it even be considered an option. The problem is the damage done to the already tarnished image of our industry. I fight tooth and nail to prove to every guest that I am an ethical professional; the blow back will touch every provider where it hurts the most, in the wallet. Let me start by saying you guys do such a great job organizing the socials. With such great socials I would have no problem with a higher ticket price. Myself although I don't live in Kanata, I do live west of downtown and think west would be a great idea. Just another thought on the problem of no shows. You've done a number of these events, so do an average of the no shows and overbook to account for them. This may be a little uncharacteristic, because of the possibility of bad weather and the transportation issues. I still think it's a great idea to try something different, so full speed ahead.

At Pigale normally I have a big selection of girls to choose from. The question there would be what leverage does LE have over sps? They have worded the laws specifically to ensure there is no chance of pressing any charges against sps for any reason (other than street work in school zones). The chances of pressuring sps under this legislation is zip. That's why i dislike all this fear mongering speculation. It is a presumption of US style lawmaking, and C36 is not imposing US style laws. US style laws meaning pressuring sps to cooperate in order to reduce or eliminate charges against themselves, to avoid arrest. Even then, they don't necessarily get a client list, they just reuse the sp's location and advertising (and reviews) in order to lure clients over for a sting. They aren't contacting anyone on lists kept by the sp.

There is a lot of speculation and fear mongering going on about c36, and honestly, I think a lot of people are putting far too much energy into worrying about it now. We don't know what's going to happen. We don't know if the bill will pass, and if it does, how they are going to enforce it.
