There really can be real connection's regardless of the profession at hand... client turned cli-fri turned friend turned boyfriend turned ex been there done that HOWEVER at the end of the day we are BOTH PEOPLE. I don't think anyone's saying that.. But, generally, escorting is not and cannot make up for 'normal' dating or having an actual girlfriend. Sometimes clients see me and it's clear that they aren't looking for a companion, they're looking for a girlfriend- and this is not the place to be looking for a girlfriend. The expense is not an issue, but as a general rule I want a lady to feel completely safe and comfortable and bringing my own might not make her feel safe. That said, if I discussed it with her first, she wanted to try them, and I could bring an unopened package it might work.

I probably should also add that Ottawa does kick ass when it comes to strip clubs especially compared to Toronto and Mississauga. Those clubs are really expensive compared to Ottawa. While it's hard not to want to worry about her, it's likely your best option to sit and wait. Pressing for an answer may worry her about your intentions (not an insult to you or anything, just we SPs tend to always have our backs up) but the few messages you have sent, if she returns, will come across as kind and caring. You have done all you can, at this point, just wait :)

As mentioned by those who have already posted, there are so many reasons why you may not get a reply. From leaving the business to vacations, family emergencies and even new relationships. But another common reason is feelings. Not everyone is "out" when it comes to working in this industry. For some, it's a totally secret, hidden and separate part of their lives- I could see how feelings going in either direction could seriously complicate things, (in a life that might already be full of complications.) While I tell those I don't want contact with anymore why, some people just aren't good with confrontation.. and though I know you genuinely had the best of intentions, messages like "even if you don't want to see me, please reply" tend to make those who dislike confrontation even more uncomfortable. Just to be clear, I don't think there's anything wrong with caring about/for a companion, (I have clients I've become close friends with over the years.) I just feel that, in many instances, it has to be approached and handled different than with someone who you're not paying. You might get a reply in the future with apologies for the delay and making you worry, or you might never hear from her again.. This is not same as having cameras in the Champagne Room(s) where at Barefax full walls separate them and each is private as opposed to Barbarellas where because of the open concept even one camera in the back room can take away the privacy.

I was specifically looking for camera in the Champagne Room at Barefax last year and I couldn't see or find anything anywhere resembling even remotely a camera and I asked the dancer friend who was dancing for me to look for it and she couldn't either and told me there is none. She was a long time Barefax dancer. There may be camera(s) somewhere upstairs where CR booths are located but I very much doubt that there is any camera in the actual small Champagne room booths (numbered at more than a dozen and unlike Barbs CRs they are separated by full walls and are private) at Barefax.

Their are two cameras in the champagne room in the fax look for a light bulb or a fire extinguisher light that doesn't look right. Their is one in the den , one in the playmate, champagne rooms. the cameras in the champagne room in the fax are harder to spot.

Security cameras at Door and cash are expected and almost mandatory. That is a matter of safety for the club and the patrons. The champagne rooms are a different story.

I believe that all rooms in a strip club have cameras. If you go up stairs to the Gluepot their r 3 cameras and most restaurants have a minimum of 2 cameras. They are hidden. One on the cash , one in the main area.

There is a note about video surveillance at the club, I didn't realize it extended to the CR. On the one hand, the arguments for video surveillance are somewhat valid. But I'm afraid the "EWWWW" factor outweighs them. Fortunately, I don't have any "blackmailability" about any video of me, but it is my privacy, and from what has been said there's WAY too much looseness about how these videos are being played and reused. One interesting issue in the Cloud is that high tech companies are having various files subpoenaed for various reasons. These video files would almost certainly be subject to subpoena in any civil or criminal case. <JOKE>On the other hand, maybe I should hope it gets out. How cool are you among your friends if they find out there's "PORN VIDEO" of you out there? Can we claim residuals??</JOKE> On the issue of the safety of the dancers, which is the only issue I care about, i) there's almost always more than one back there, ii) the dj is usually in the booth, in clear earshot of a yell or scream, iii) even if i) and ii) don't apply, I think if a dancer yelled or screamed, someone would hear it in the club, and iv) any bad-minded customers know all of this. I've never asked, but dancers, do you feel that if the video was removed, you'd feel less safe? So, bottom line, absolutely not acceptable, I won't be going for any dances until it's removed. The most important thing if it's important to you is to ask. My rule of thumb is that if they say yes right away without knowing you, they offer it to everyone.
