Valid points! I will say similar to how there isnt a “How to Book an Esc0rt 101” there is also not a “How to be an Esc0rt 101”. Yes, Halifax has its benefits. It's a relatively short distance to get from one place to another, as long as you're not traveling during rush hour. It's a charming little city during the summer months. It has the basics one needs for existence. Thanks to global warming, the winters are becoming milder and milder in this part of the world. The people are friendly to your face. There are lovely parks and coastline just an hour's drive from downtown. If you're not a hard drinker intent on destroying your liver at an early age, or a raging coke head, it's a little hard to make friends, but whatever. Small cities tend to be cliquish.

I’ve always been surprised how good we have it here to be honest considering the size of our city. I’m guessing that per capita, this has to be one of the best cities in the country for the hobby. Comparing us to cities like Toronto and Montreal is hardly fair considering the population difference. I do agree that there are far more scammers then ever out there so you do have to do your homework but I’m guessing that’s a universal trend. Safe hobbling everyone. Happy new year!
