3 pointsI saw the news interview with him and remember him saying he can't be in contact with underage, have a cell phone or a video camera - and he said that's crazy, my favourite things to do are with my cell phone and vid camera or something to that effect. I'm pretty sure he's soft in the head. And screw this innocent until proven guilty, it's KNOWN in SP world that he is a pimp and coerced girls if they did certain acts they would become famous via viral videos on YouTube. He purposely sought out vulnerable girls. He is the epitome of what needs to be eliminated in the sex work industry. Independent all the way. He makes my blood boil. I hope he gets labeled a rapist/pedo and put in general population in jail. Yes, I know those are strong words but it's how I feel.

2 pointsThe first comment I have gotten after conversing with someone is always"you have the kindest heart". As I feel for everything, sometimes to much. I don't want anyone or anything to have to suffer, feel hate, sadness, discomfort of any kind. But I still have to work on my understanding and excepting of others as to why they hate, cause conflict are without compassion and understanding, like to hurt and torment. I know these issues are theirs and they are in need of love and understanding not more of the same. As I believe, to be complete, to be an "empathetic human being" you should be kind, loving and excepting of all types of individuals, even when you don't understand them.

2 pointsDateCheck does require your real name and a valid government issued ID. Your DateCheck ID encodes part of your real name, government ID and age. Having the DateCheck ID isn't sufficient to identify who you are. Before the date you are suppose to show the government issued id to the provider. With it and the DateCheck ID she/he can cross reference who you are. Most of the other verification services work off the same principle.

2 pointsLegal action is definitely the way to go. Lawyers letters to the people doing the copying, but more importantly, to the hosting site/Internet service provider. You need to think of this as copywright/trademark infringement. If I were to copy a McDonald's ad word for word, jingle and everything, but just substitute Burger King for McDonald's in the copy, I'd have my ass sued off. This is the same sort of thing ... A passing off and an effort to mislead/confuse consumers. And just because the business is a little "off the grid" in terms of what most commercial lawyers will see, doesn't change the nature of the issue. In the same way your accountant doesn't care, (business revenue, expenses, and taxes are the same regardless), so the lawyer won't either. Short of that, track them down and put their heads on pikes, Game of Thrones style!!! Porthos

2 pointsbillybob: people here sure like to dump on Moncton Yeah, that is true. That aside the topic of the thread is not about whether Moncton is a desirable city or not (that has been discussed in other threads) but about Greek services available in said city. The OP asked a legitimate question and if the thread goes off on a tangent how will he get his answer? This does not reflect positively on the membership in the eyes of new members.

1 pointI don't go much anymore. Thanks heavens cuz I'd be even more broke than I am now! When I went regularly I would usually take a new girl for 2-5 songs. For my favs, I would usually have 10, 20, 30 or more songs at a time. It was a lot of fun at the time, but when I think of how much I spent over the years, I could have paid off my mortgage! sigh..oh well...

1 pointI agree with many of your points Backrubman. Damage calculations are always tricky, but trademark infringements don't necessarily depend on demonstrating damage. Ultimately you want injunctive relief. Yes, lawyers cost money. Sometimes it's wort it. In cases like this, the people doing the stealing are likely not in a position where they want to hire lawyers to defend themselves against a claim. A threatening letter from a lawyer might just do the trick. Starting out with that isn't very expensive, and doesn't necessarily commit you to going all the way down the road. But you do need to think about whether you're prepared to travel the road. Very much an individual choice and personal assessment, especially given the nature of the business. Porthos

1 pointThere once was a Moderator named "Mod" Who proclaimed this thread got to odd! "Be good CERBIES I say with my seniority Or I will suspend because I have the authority" And for that, we all should applaud!! Sorry everyone. I just tried to lighten the moment. Hope writing a lame limerick is not a suspendable offence. Perhaps it should be!!

1 pointGet a Vita-mix blender. It's what they use at booster juicers. you just put the whole fruit and vegetable in to get the fibre and all the nutrients. You can make soup, butter, ice -cream in it. bread, flour and so on. It's almost a whole kitchen in one. great for health nuts. Expensive, but should last a life time. best place to get it is at the Costco road show. here is the website https://www.vitamix.com/Home

1 pointThought this thread might help a few of us who do not eat our veggies. My father does not eat his veggies and now is facing near blindness! Yes this is from not eating our veggies folks! I know it is hard to eat balanced meals all the time. I am one of these too..lol. Too much junk food, too much wine, too much smoking whatever the case may be. So if we can learn to balance the good and the bad, I believe we can maintain our health and beauty with....JUCING!!! Foods like Apricot, the very best for eyes, and skin care!, Pineapple for digestive enzyme, ginger root for cleansing the blood and all digestive organs. Here are a few combinations I have started to use weekly, sometimes daily. They are very fast acting, so if you are detoxing, best to do on a day when you do not have much planned to do. Blackberry( about a 5-7) Pineapple( about a good hand size ) Beats ( about 1-2) YUMMY!!!! NO JOKE, YOU WILL GET HOOKED ON THIS ONE, LOL This is to boost immune function, and great for anemia, also for weight loss. OR Carrots( about 4 reg size) Ginger root( just a small chuck) Apple ( one reg size...any kind but red delicious) SOOOO YUMMY!!!! This is great for inflammation, blood cleanser, complexion, digestive upsets. and as all juicing immune support. These are just 2 of my fav's, have many more to share with you! If you try these, and they work, please share with us. If they do not work, then just keep doing it, lol...it will work eventually. Either way nutrients are nutrients.

1 pointThe problem with text, whether as a word document or formatted at an image is the plagerizer can still put the webpage up, take pen to paper and copy what is on the website, then transcribe it from paper and enter it on her website. These suggestions to counter the stealing of Emily's site, while good, would merely inconvenience the plagerizer. But it's still a lot less work for the plagerizer than putting the work and effort forward and coming up with their own original thoughts and site If you truly want someone inconvenienced, maybe, unfortunately legal action is the recourse. Make it so costly to steal from someone (just the inconvenience of legal action has a cost) else that they won't it again Some quick thoughts RG

1 pointText is really important for SEO, so this might not be the best route. Spiders don't find pictures as appealing as text. I know we're not getting a lot of traffic by random searches but it's still something to consider.
-
1 pointThis may be of little comfort Emily, and some suggestions have been made in your other thread, but you are one of a kind, and a class act. There is only one Emily Rushton, and no one can mix up a class act like you with someone so low class as to steal from you. And for me at least, it speaks volumes about this other person's character (or lack of it) that she would steal from you or any other SP RG

1 pointZyflammend was very good when New Chapter was an independent company. Now that it's been bought out by Proctor & Gamble, I don't have the same faith in it as before, as the huge mega-corporation will undoubtably cut costs by using cheaper ingredients. New Chapter used to get a lot of my supplement money, but I've found many other alternatives on Iherb.com. Also, I've found that zyflammend didn't have enough turmeric and ginger for me, and once I extra supplemented with those, I really saw results. You can save a lot of money using iherb.com. too! I don't use Zyflammend anymore; I've found that I don't really need it. Oregano oil is a great little thing too, especially if you're prone to yeast infections. You can make your own tinctures by ordering organic ginger, turmeric, etc, in bulk and soaking them in vodka. As many of these herbs are hepatoprotective, a little bit of booze won't hurt! ;)

1 pointGentlemen, In light of recent events, I would like to bring a few respectful points to your attention regarding declined requests. "No" means what it means -NO- Nothing less, nothing more. It simply means no! Respect it and move on to someone else who will be able to provide you with what you are looking for without making a huge fuss about it and accusing the lady of having a bad attitude, especially when the request(s) are turned down gently and diplomatically. Please understand that when a lady already has a lot of pictures available for you to look at, she may not want to send you more pictures of herself because you want to see a specific body part. There are a multitude of reasons for her to decline politely and I do not think her personal or professional reasons should matter or made subject of pure assumptions after turning you down; If that specific body part picture is not available for you to look at before an encounter and if that specific picture is going to make or break an appointment, please look for ladies who already show what you are looking for. Furthermore, when a lady says she is not available to meet with you, she is NOT available to meet with you. Again, the reasons for her not being able to see you are irrelevant. Please, move on to someone who is without feeling the need to investigate as to why she was not available. It's quite creepy when I'm told, at a later time by a gentleman I wasn't available for, that after doing 'local inquiries' he was able to find out "why" I was not available to meet with him. Why the need to take it that far? No matter what your request is (extra pictures, specific 'sercives', ect, even a get together), when a lady declines, it is what it is and her preferences, choices and decisions should be respected even though you would've preferred otherwise. There is also no need to put her under a scrutinising eye and make silly assumptions when you do not get what you want. Acting out, being mean spirited, gossiping and the likes after the fact is never going to get you what you wanted in the first place... It is simply better to forget about it and move on. Gabriella

1 pointWell, you can do anything with some well-chosen facts (example: Hitler became vegetarian later in life due to gastric problems, rather than for any moral or philosophical reason) and some outright falsehoods (Ludwig was his mother's third child, so quite how we're supposed to make judgements based on children who haven't been born yet isn't clear). http://www.snopes.com/glurge/twoquestions.asp

1 pointI think what is being missed is this...yes the ladies are companions, professional companions, meaning that they are seeing you in exchange for money...they are not in this profession to be asked out at a social level for a date. And at least for me, I'm not using this lifestyle to meet, date and marry the woman of my dreams. Yes, it is a very unique lifestyle. Very intimate, social and interpersonal, but the lady does so for monetary compensation. And underlying this is no strings. It is, or is supposed to be, a simple and uncomplicated arrangement. Expect any asking out to be considered by the lady as being asked out for a paid encounter, not a date at a social level And a SP, like every other person has a private personal life with friends. You are part of her professional life, and not part of her personal life Respect the boundries, don't assume because an SP is being intimate with you she wants a personal relationship with you, she is a professional companion RG

1 pointWell I can see where you're coming from, I think you're making a lot of assumptions. Just because a lady did some bad things, does NOT mean overall that she runs her business badly, or that she's going to freak out if you give her constructive criticism. As I believe Meg suggested, you can send her an email, if you'd rather not do it in person. There are many reasons the lady may have done these things, and yes, including the possibility that she genuinely doesn't give a fuck about her business. But if everyone simply decided to tell their friends, or post negative things about her on a board, rather than tell her, a woman who may have genuinely been clueless about the things she was doing wrong could be put out of business. A good friend of mine will never, ever complain in a restaurant. Ever. She'll eat the food she was incorrectly brought and then leave, never to return. And she'll bitch about it to other people. The first thing they say - why didn't you TELL THEM. The services we provide are in no way comparable to a restaurant, obviously, however, in any customer service situation, there are certain things that both the customer and the service provider are responsible for. And the reaction you receive could surprise you - in your case, she might have laughed and said 'whatever', in which case, you'd be right - she doesn't care about her business. But, she may have realized what she'd done wrong, apologized, and fixed it. One thing I've learned in life is: you're NEVER right about people. Everyone can surprise you.

1 pointWhen I dipped my toe into this world for the first time, I, too, made the mistake of thinking that asking for less than FS would cost less. After all, a steak is more expensive than a hamburger! (how dumb i was)... I made a couple of inquiries and received a couple of curt, almost rude responses, basically telling me to buzz off. I didn't know then that this was something that happened often (men trying to bargain) and that it was quite offensive to the ladies in question. And then finally, one provider took the time to explain things to me.... that the requested donation levels were firm, that the donations were for time and not services, the concept of YMMV, etc... She was polite, caring, and really took the time to ensure that I understood why things were the way they were. Of course, once all had been explained, I was mortified at how I must have sounded and how disrespectful those ladies must have thought I was. I am not saying that an outright "buzz off" is not an option, or that the ladies have any responsibility to take the time to explain things to every guy that sends a text or email. But I did want to tell the story because this particular lady is the reason I was finally able to take the plunge and set up a date. Not everyone comes into this hobby with an enlightened mind... but that doesn't make them cavemen or idiots. CERB members are immersed (at least for a time) in this world and have come to know how things work. It's not every guy that gets it at first. I will always be grateful to the lady who was so patient with me and who took the time to teach me a bit about the etiquette of being a client.

1 pointa big one for me for incalls is RESPECT THE SPs DISCRETION when it comes to her location and her surroundings. once you walk in enter quickly and dont stand in the doorway saying something like "wow, you're hotter than your pictures" (even if its true) you never know who is passing by in the hall etc. enter quickly and close ythe door behind you, then you're free to do as you please. ;-) same applies when being walked to the door, when about to leave try not to discuss to heavily in detail her profession or your hobby....i rememebr in my old place you could hear an entire conversation from the hall if someone was talking outside.....its something that we always tend to forget until we realize how much we can hear others. so saying something like "I had a great time, I'll see you next week? same price?" might not go over well if heard from a nosy neighbor, lol

1 pointI know this is not directly related to the thread subject BUT I would like to point out an important detail! Flossing and brushing your teeth before an intimate rendez-vous with a lovely Lady (or with a gentleman) should be avoided!!! Why? Because flossing and brushing can cause your gums to bleed therefore creating a perfect opening for HIV to get into your bloodstream. http://www.aidsmap.com/en/docs/C858FF44-5E81-4F59-8030-B5A3C7A93654.asp "Look after your mouth. The likelihood of oral HIV transmission increases if one has bleeding gums, ulcers, cuts or sores in the mouth. Don’t brush your teeth or floss before oral sex." Something to think about ;) Use mouthwash and stay safe! ;) xox
-
1 pointMy post might not be exactly relevant to this thread but I would like to add a little something personal to what you said, YoungStud. As a Companion, I believe it is my responsability to have more than enough protection with me (regular and extra large) so my Gentleman doesn't have to worry about anything but the great moments we are going to share together... Second, by always providing my own protection, I know that the "packages" haven't been damaged and kept at the right temperature; Didn't leave them in the car for an extended period of time at -30 or at +30... Some Gentlemen also keep condoms in their wallet/back pocket and that can also damage the "important small packages". Also, I might not be the only one but I have allergic reactions to condoms with spermicide so I prefer to buy my own and make sure I only buy the ones that are lubricated. xox
