I've tried to ignore this thread, I've skimmed it pretending not to read it. Those who've been in touch with me this week will already know that my mind has gone on vacation and left my big bad self unattended and I've turned the edit button off. That warning posted, here it goes... You are paying $$, $$$ or $$$$ to get laid and you want to fuss about parking? We search high and low for the perfect place to put up our den of inequities and you want to complain about spending an extra $10 for the afternoon to park in a lot rather than $4 for an hour of street parking? It's not like we stay at the Chateau where the parking is $22. There are parking lots all over this city within spitting distance of every major hotel. I felt guilty that I didn't know 4 years ago when I moved here that all the street parking would be removed for bike lanes. I have since reconciled that and simply tell guests that if they want to avoid parking tickets to park underground or in a lot. Guys get teed off if a girl is clock watcher but then get even more pissed if she isn't and he stays too long resulting in him getting a ticket. The way I see it, there are three viable options to prevent the hassles of finding street parking and risking getting a ticket... 1. Only see girls within walking distance of where you are. 2. Only see girls that have free parking, ask in advance. or 3. Pony up the extra $ and pay to park in a lot. It isn't rocket science. If you're paying for pussy don't be a penny pincher... cat

They say all good things come to an end:( Maria came to us just a few months ago, and now has decided to embark on another adventure for herself. This is what she would like to say to all of the lovely people she had met here at Miss Sophia V's and CERB " I came to Sophia's just a short time ago. I was starting over, as I just arrived from Alberta. When I arrived I was unsure how I was going to do this on my own. But then Sophia took in under her wing and showed me a side of this life that I never would have known! She gently guided me, and helped to build my self esteem in a way that no one has ever done! She showed me how to gain my independence again. I regret leaving so quickly, but a great opportunity fell in my lap that I simply can not turn down. I feel that I have been giving a new take on life and the direction I want to go in now. So I am going to give it a try, and who knows maybe I will be back from time to time. I realized I have been in the hobby for longer than most of the SP's I see have been alive. My first time was with a street walker from the Main in Montreal back in the summer of 1980. My mother always told me to learn something new every day, even it was looking up a new word in the dictionary. It doesn't have to be just one thing. In Ottawa I always park in the hotel's underground parking and I never had any problems, especially when I compare to Montreal (what a headache it can be sometimes overthere). Just today, I spent $140 in parking (including a parking fine) As much as I love the Hilton Lac Leamy and although it's probably one of my favorite hotel in the NCR, I freaking hate the way they set-up the parking: soooo far from the main entrance lol! You think I sound lazy? Well try to walk that with a paire of 5" heels!

So, I can see my twitter box on my profile but no feeds. I can see other profiles, with their feeds working just fine. I have removed it about three times and then reset it, using my PC not a tablet,phone or lap top. I don't know what's happening, OR is it because my profile is protected and locked on Twitter? I learn that in Montreal during winter, if you don't move your car when you hear that annoying and loud siren coming from outside, the city will tow your car and drop it to a random place and leave you a $117 parking ticket on your windshield. The siren is a warning to tell you that they will plow your street and that you have to move your car. The thing is that it's so loud that you don't know which street they are targeting, and then you don't know where it's ok to move your car. I am a sun lover therefore I love the Caribbean, I ve done the all inclusive thing and the cruise ships, and I am a fan of the cruises, I love the fact that everytime you go to bed you wake up in a different place and even if all u did was to go to the beach in every place it is a complete different experience... I have to add that food and service are also great and there is so many things to do in the ships that there is no time for boredome... And yes something very sensual and erotic about the beach that make you have some great times in your state room ;) ...

A personal assistant could be charged with living on the avails, for sure. I considered this, it one point, but changed my mind when I heard other ladies' stories about problems they'd had. One had had an assistant who tried to blackmail her. In the end, I decided that the personal touch was the best way for me. My decisions about who to see are based on some subtle things, sometimes. Since I don't take same-day meetings, I don't have to be in a rush. That works for me. For those with a different business model, the right assistant might work. Yep, the C-word. We hear it all the time; that it's a cure-all for interpersonal issues. As an SP, I communicate as clearly as possible in my ads, website and interactions so there is no misinformation and are no misunderstandings. My responsibility is to communicate, either written or verbal, effectively, clearly, and honestly. That's on me. Reading things thoroughly, and asking for clarification before making an assumption.... that's on you. Caveat emptor, buyer beware. Being aware means being informed. It takes time to inform yourself, and effort. Yes, a lot of the time seeing an SP is more-or-less on impulse. But that doesn't mean you can't take the time to familiarize yourself with that lady. Her services, her booking protocols, anything else you need to know to be an informed client. These things shouldn't need to be said, but they are said - often. The reality is there are enough guys out there who skim over important bits of information, or worse yet, think they are an exception and a lady will bend her rules for him. And rather than taking responsibility for their error (afterall, it is your responsibility as a client to be familiar with what the rules are), they transfer it onto the lady. She's bitchy. She's being unfair. How dare she stick to the rules and restrictions which she has already clearly outlined, can't she see I'm special? This kind of nonsense happens a lot, and the sad truth is that while there are times when a lady is genuinely at fault, there are also times when bitter men who feel slighted are not completely forthcoming with their contribution to events. It is this reason why I don't bother with the other place. It's far too misogynistic and I don't feel that women are being properly respected there. We have our responsibilities, both SPs and clients. I am not responsible for making sure your phone has minutes, providing transportation to my incall, or providing services that I do not offer just for you. You are not responsible for supplying my lingerie or condoms, making sure my phone has minutes, or my right to choose what I do with my body. Information is key. Communication is how that information is given. If you're not sure, ask. Don't make assumptions or fail to plan and then wonder why a lady is less-than-impressed with you. speaking as someone who had a shaved head under a wig for ten years and used to pass it off as 'extensions" i will say that hair (whether big or sleek or sprayed or dyed etc)...is all up to the eye of the beholder...but also more importantly a mere accessory to the lady that dons it. how many times have you seen a woman from behind whos hair was gorgeous, long and wavy....then she turned around and was butt ugly and then said to yourself "gah!" its not the hair...but the lady underneath or the face to sport that crazy style that makes it work. I will say that as a model i got waaay more work with a shaved head because I had the face that supported it. I loved it. many clients have scowled at the fact that since growing my hair back I've decided to put a red and blonde streak in the front of my hair and rock a bit of a pompadour aside from my pony-tail...they say "i wish you wouldn't do that to your hair (and motion to the colour and hair-spray) and these were regulars of mine I'd had for over a year!.."it was so much nicer and classy when it was natural" and all I can think without saying is "oh you're right...because i was totally thinking of YOUR opinion when I decided to express my inner style" {note the sarcasm}...I'm still the same classy gal...a red and bleached blonde streak and some hairspray isnt going to change that :) Some ladies work very hard to make themselves look nice for their work. but if a hairstyle turns ppl off so much that they cannot see the woman behind it (whether bald or done up), I dunno....perhaps this is just a skin-deep (or hair-deep) hobby to them.

Hi there, and welcome to our community;) As a younger provider, I can say I prefer to see 35+ clients. I have no problem with younger gents closer to my age, but I find I click better and the chemistry is often more suitable with older gents. Age and looks is really irrelevant to me though in deciding whether or not I will enjoy a gent's company, the deciding criteria is someone who is respectful in all our correspondence, who I think I will be stimulated by intellectually and enjoy conversing with, and who shows a genuine interest in meeting with ME, as opposed to just the services I provide ;)

Ahhh, the ?tipping? debate! I noticed there was a decided void in SP response so I will take a minute to share my thoughts? From an agency girl perspective, tipping is often a way to generate extra income because after they pay the agency and the driver, they usually end up on the short end of the stick. 10 years ago, I ran for an agency, we collected $260 for an hour, with $110 going to the house, $40-$100 to the driver depending on where the visit was located, which left me maximum of $110 with as little as $10 in my pocket. With a $15 book on fee and mandatory car cell phone fees of $25 per night, I needed 3 full fees per night to make working worthwhile, God forbid I get credit card calls, which somehow always worked out us getting nothing. We were not allowed to refuse a call so we had to find creative ways to ensure we were paid. Tipping for extra service was the only way to keep our heads above water. The nice thing was that we had a shift, we worked, and we went home and had a life. That said, it was unfair to the guest who would end up with less than what he expected because he was not prepared for the extra fees. Independents are in a slightly different boat. We usually have a higher upfront fee, but we also assume ALL the costs incurred, which is far more than many realize. If we charged what we feel we should to get our ROI, the protests would be heard long and loud. Many Indies have a smaller bottom line than an ambitious girl at a well run agency. So when it comes to tips, many things need to be considered. In the south, SP's are tipped much in the same manner as a restaurant. Anyone walking a restaurant wouldn?t consider walking out without leaving a tip if everything was satisfactory. I tip everyone in the service industry, from the girl who washes my hair, to the man at Suny?s who pumps my gas because a little bit from many adds up at the end of the day. Flowers and trinkets are lovely in thought, but a girl can?t deposit wilted stems into an RRSP, and my bank doesn?t seem to take dildos, massage oil, garter belts or silk stockings on deposit -go figure! As Joyful C has so wisely stated, most SP?s live a fragile existence financially. We provide an illusion of playful luxury for our guests benefit, but rest assured, 90% of the time it is smoke and mirrors. Behind the scenes we struggle to pay our bills, put diapers on our babies and try to take care of those we love, all the while working on a way to get to a normal existence if that does in fact even exist. An extra $20 from each client equals a full appointment by the end of the week, and at the end of the month that pays the cell phone, buys the groceries and lets us take the little ones away for the weekend after we have paid both rents (home and incall), all our advertising, babysitters, hydro, car repairs, personal maintenance and the same expenses everyone else has. Not to mention the monthly payments on augmentation, lifts, tucks and anything else to keep us up to the exceptionally high standards expected if we want to continue making money in this arena. There are few SP?s who can keep up the daily client service to ensure long term financial viability in this business because of the emotional and physical toll this business extracts which sometimes means extended time offs to get our heads, hearts and bodies back in order. We have no paid holidays, benefits or paid personal days. If there is a crisis that forces us to take time off, we lose money and clients which often means we work regardless of illness, pain or any other of lifes challenges. Each SP has her own reasons for working, but the universal element is that we all are trying to achieve some sort of financial stability. I never expect tips, and I can count on one hand how many I have received since my arrival in Canada because of the nature of the business here. Hate to tell you guys, but Canadian men are not known for their generous nature, they rank a close second to Germans in this realm (I think the outlandishly high taxes inflicted in both countries has something to do with it!). I would never expect a tip from guests that have me on retainer, I see them weekly. But unless you are going to be a bankable commodity in a SP?s life, a tip relative to the quality of service is a sure way to say thank you and have her know you mean it... Catherine
