I am a die hard BlackBerry user and I recently downloaded a new App that I think is great for this Hobby/Business. The App is called "Hide SMS" and while it is for BlackBerry 10 phones I am sure there are similar Apps for other popular phones. Bottom line the App redirects incoming text messages from identified contacts or phone numbers into a password protected area on your phone and not into your regular text message location. This allows clients to securely text back and forth with SP's with no indication of the text trail in their regular text listing. If your spouse checks your phone you are all clear. It also would allow SP'S to flag the number of regular clients so that the record of their conversations were secure in case the phone is ever lost of stolen. I have only been playing with the app since yesterday but it looks very promising.

Do your research is the best I can tell you. Adequate research usually addresses that issue most of the time. If she's blatantly misrepresented herself as in a B&S scenario then it would be appropriate to (in a very polite way) inform her that based on her pics and ad she appears to have misrepresented herself and you won't be proceeding with the date then leave. However, if she's a legitimate provider and never actually pulled a B&S (she did use her own pics) and you just decided that she's not what you wanted when you arrived the gentlemanly thing to do is, be as tactful as you can and advise her that you won't be able to go through with the date ( for whatever reason including being too nervous). There maybe those that will disagree with me but you booked an hour of her time and never gave her any notice or ability to schedule another client for that time so you offer to pay her the full donation. Chalk it up to a learning experience and do better research next time. Now for me personally? It has happened and I've decided, "ok I can pay her the donation and leave with nothing or I can pay her the donation and give her the opportunity to change my impression of her". Some occasions I have been blown away and even done a repeat. That's my thoughts.

Perhaps there is another point of view. While I have been a member for a long time, I don't post very much. I do read a great deal to understand the SP's point of view, but I suppose I am still leery of posting for privacy concerns. Realistically, not a concern I guess, however, speaking for some of us of a certain age, I just don't trust websites, texting, emails, etc as much as I should. Given the population of New Brunswick is so small - with seemingly everyone knowing everyone (I'm originally from a very large city and I still can't get used to this) - security concerns may be keeping gentlemen from posting. Just a theory. I will endeavor to chime in from time-to-time.

Is there a protocol for when you arrive at an SP's place and she sin't what she seemed. For example larger than her pics, or her is face is not pretty. This scenario had happened in my business. I certainly did not S&B the pics. This lady just did not have the "model" face that the fellow was hoping for. He told my girl, he forgot his wallet and left. THIS IS NOT THE WAY you should handle it! She had a stunning body, and in her pics, she did not show her face ( privacy) . News love fear mongering.. I guess it's not as interesting to report on the great and lovely vacations people have outside the country. There's is so much out there to discover, learn and see. I actually love visiting (parts) of South America. I heard a lot before going there, but I've never come across anything like bribes or abnormally high crime rates. (Though I did find a lot of people stand really close when they talk to you.) I've walked around at night in Asia, stayed with strangers in Europe... once you get out and start seeing places you start to see how similar people are no matter where they live. Don't let fear stop you. If you want to travel, you should.. you're probably just as likely to face unfair persecution here as you are in a lot of other countries. This is true. also the bribery in places like mexico and Central America, I didn't see any of it in mexico, but i do know some people think some things are bribes, when in fact Canada does the same thing for example fines for traffic violations that have to be paid if full if you aren't a resident or a fee to enter the country, which Canada also does, If you are from certain places, you have to pay for a visa in non reciprocal countries. Canadians often interpret this as 'bribes' i know people in CA that offered a passport stamping service so you didn't actually have to exit the country and reenter 3 days later as required. Someone picks up the passports, travels to the city, sees an official in the appropriate dept who stamps the passport exit and entry and issues another reentry visa with a new expiration date. The entry has a legit fee, everything else is paying for the people to make it happen. cheaper than travel :) I like traveling, and encountered no problems with a very extended trip. most of what i work for now is to do it again, for a long trip or semi permanent basis. There is no one thing that's the most important aspect to see an SP. It's a combination of a lot of things. Over the last number of years I've seen a lot of this world. Since the risk varies immensely from country to country, start with relatively safe destinations. You have to realize that you're a guest and must observe the local laws and customs. If you do get into trouble I'm sure that you will get consular services, but you have to understand their limitations. There are many ways to mitigate risk, good advance research, possibly going with a group or a tour, having proper insurance, and letting people know your plans, and you should always try to be unobtrusive. There are so many wonderful experiences to be had out there, take a chance, we only go around once.

I would say LED or Plasma. You can get a bigger plasma tv for cheaper than an LED tv. So, perhaps overall, it really isn't a positive venture or instead something that looks positive on the surface but underneath is not. Duality is common it is only when the balance tips that things get questionable. My goal is to be part of a vibrant exciting community of people who support the industry and the people behind it, whether SP or hobbyist. I have to think about what serves that goal best.

Don't think you need to spend 3000 on a plasma, maybe 1200 or so. Panasonic usually makes really good ones, well they really developed the technology. If you watch a lot of sports or action movies then plasma would be better than an lcd or led. I think my next hdtv would be a plasma...have lcd at the moment.
