Why is it that men pm me on a post I made about a lady. I said "I'm not saying a word". Everybody knows what that means. Why feel the need to pm me for details. Good morning everyone, I simply wanted to take a moment to apologize for not being able to participate on the board as much as I have in the past. I miss it, but really need to focus on writing my thesis over the next couple of months. I defend my thesis in August, which means I have to finish writing it by June. I'm feeling the pressure! This can take various turns but I wish to start with one issue. When pre-booking, be it 6hours, a day or a week in advance, make sure that your schedule allows for it. Sure things come up that require a cancellation but if you are an all call worker, don't book when on call! If you are travelling for business, don't confirm until you are certain of your itinerary, if you are just horny, wait til you are sure you can make it!

I have been a pet groomer for 15 years. I just retired from that last year. I agree that there are many awful grooming places out there. Here is what I know.... 1, be sure not to bring your dog to a place that I call " assembly line grooming" This means a place that has more then one table with 4 tubs and cages with the dryer attached. These places do not give the gentle care your pet should receive. I refuse to even work in a place like that. Choose a groomer that works one on one. You should be waiting 2 hours for your dog in this case. 2. When it comes to bathing, depending on the kind of dog you have, you should be able to do this as an owner. However, if you have a breed or the dog just is terrified of water. It IS best to have a professional to do it for you. In a dogs mind, you are the one to provide safety. This is one reason why a Vet can seem to do things to your dog that you can not. A professional is neutral to your pet. This goes with all aspects of grooming, if your nervous your dog will be too and chances are your going to teach your dog " that bath/grooming time is a stressful thing and he should be scared" The problem of bathing your own pet, is that most of you do not blow dry after, leading to hot spots, moist dermatitis. 3, Drying your pet is not easy and can lead to much unnecessary stress to point of seizer, this is why a professional should be doing it. I never agreed to the cage drying style. First because some parts will remain moist as the dog will go to the furthest corner away from dryer laying in one spot. But also, brushing the fur as it dries is important for the skin and fur integrity. 4. a groomer is not a magician, You MUST START GROOMING BEFORE 5 MONTHS OF AGE!!!! YOUR PET NEEDS TO BE TRAINED TO ACCEPT THE GROOMING WITH EASE!!! START THE WEEK YOU GET YOUR PUP! At home you begin with " desensitizing training" meaning touch the feet with forgein objects ( pens, spoon), cotton ball the ears, have loud noises like a dryer around the pup often. Touch all parts of your dog. Find a table to put pretend to groom, so he is not scared of the table. While you have him on the table, now is a good time to teach him about brushing him:) You should do this once a week. 5. DO NOT THINK JUST CAUSE YOU GOT HIM GROOMED YOUR GOOD FOR 9 MONTHS. A pup needs to return every 6 weeks, because he will forget what he has learned. Make sure the end of a grooming session feels like success to him. NEVER EVER LAUGH AT HIM ON HIS FIRST HAIR CUT! Dogs do get shy and embarrassed if you pick him up and laugh and carry on. Let him leave on a good note:) Be proud of your pup. 6. BE SURE YOUR GROOMER IS ACTUALLY CERTIFIED in a school course that is at least 6-8 months duration. Mine was 8 months. Ask to see the certificate. There are no real regulations for this, anyone can say they are a groomer, but to say a certified pet groomer is different. You would be amazed how many are NOT certified! 7. IF YOUR DOG IS STARTING GROOMING LATE IN LIFE OR HAS SUFFERED A BAD SESSION. If it is a bad case for your pet, and he begins to froth and salivate, stress pants and scream...You are better of having your dog sedated by your vet ( many vets also have groomers on staff) then groomed. It is about 50.00 more on your bill, but there is no point to terrifying your dog to a point of seizer! Many bad things can happen to a dog that is distressed and many dogs have week hearts and murmurs. Strokes can also be a risk at this point. Hope this helps anyone with grooming concerns? I agree. If many of those things are not in your ads for example, it might be a sign that more info is needed in the actual ad. Not everyone is able to go from an ad over to a website. The 2nd thing that happens when you get a lot of questions is simply that the person read the ad, and possibly the website, but they did it a few hours or even a couple of days ago. They wrote down the # to contact you because that all looked agreeable to them, but they don't remember much about the ad itself. They may have 3 to 6 different numbers. When they contact you, it is then part of your marketing job to remind them why they wrote down the number, even if it means repeating yourself. This is why i am a phone call only, no email no texting person. You can do all that in 1 minute or less, rates/description/location/services/restrictions, and no typing, no back and forth email/text questions, just one shot and done. Basically you can choose to be annoyed by their interest in spite of the info being available, or you can seize the day and make it your mission to remind them why they were attracted to your ad in the first place. Because they probably will, out of those 6 #s they wrote down, encounter at least 3 sps who are going to bark at them 'Can't you read my ad before calling???!!!!" and hang up on them lol Also, and also very important, the phone call is to confirm what they saw in the ad or site (which isn't necessarily written by the person they are contacting). if your conversation contradicts anything in the ad or site, they will be on alert seeing that as a red flag.

It's not hard to find such basic information if one is willing to just open their eyes and turn their head slightly towards the monitor. It's obviously up to you how much time/effort you want to put into fellows that don't seem willing to put any time/effort in themselves. If you don't want to ignore them completely, you might consider setting up a standard, pre-made text reply that includes either basic information or simply a link to your website. That way instead of having to retype out lengthy messages numerous times a day, you can just quickly send the pre-made reply and move on with your day. My experience, and I stay at many major chains, is hotels are willing to accept cash, so no need to pay by credit card. Only use a cc for reserving a room, not to pay for it. As for the so called paper trail, hotels have privacy policies and should be respecting their former customers' confidentiality. Yes there is a possible risk, but a probable risk another matter. And any hotel breaching a former customer's privacy risks losing future customers. Totally ridiculous in my opinion. If you don't have enough time to wash your pet then perhaps rethink owing one. If you need a groomer to do it for what ever reasons then find a reputable one and make sure they are gentle and safe. Water is a scary substance to a lot of dogs and to most cats so sensitivity when bathing is imperative.

It was supposed to be private so those providing their opinions could remain confidential. It's hard enough to get customers to speak up. I sure as hell wouldn't go before a commitee if I thought people were going to be tweeting about me and what I said.

Now what if the MA/Provider has kids... she meets the parents of other kids that go to school with her children, One of this parents runs into one of this Face pictures and recognizes her... This parent may not want her/his kids to Interact with the kids of this MA or SP...

I think some of it also comes from one gentleman believing they might have a better outcome with the lady in question so wanting to determine the issue to see if this may be the case. IE: maybe it was a chemistry issue and I'll be more compatible. For the number of times I've seen gentlemen want more details on a "no comment" lady, they can't all be that gossipy....can they? Sorry to hear your struggling:( I too tried this approach, but no success. But what I did do, was .... The dentist up on Prospect st close to the Sobey's , did allow me to bulid a payment fund. So every week/month that I could afford to put a few bucks on my dentistry, they would collect it to an amount we could work with:) I found this very helpful, as when I did have an extra 50...100..even 20..I would bring it in and they would add it to my account. Then, I was able to have 500-1000 to use when I needed to. check them out:) Or ask any dentist office if they could do the same? There is a good dentist in Oromocto as well, they may be willing to set up an account for you? ALSO.....if it is an emergency, then you can go to the hospital but all they will do is pull it or give you prescription for antibiotics I think....

The location of where a woman is offering encounters from is not the issue here, it is the age of the women and the possible pimp behind it. When you book a random off of BP, do you really expect it to be legit? Any reputable woman working in this business will have more than 1 ad on BP or CL. In my personal life, I am so not a "last minute" kind of guy. And I hate putting others in the position of having to deal with that situation.
