Oh for sure Cristy.. I never said I didn't like kind words.. only that this is why her opinion of us as 'h----kers' didn't personally offend me. I don't get offended so easily. For those who think she should be given a 2nd chance... think about your job. You go into work.. and one person who works there talks about how little he/she thinks of the job you both do.. whether it be gov't or working at McDonalds.. Heck I know people who work at Tim Hortons, McDonalds etc who take great pride in their work.. for very measly pay. That's tough to do in my opinion! Certainly there are many grumblers as well.. which one do you want to work with side by side? I can say.. hey. I only got into the gov't job/working at Tim's temporarily.. ' I never expected to make it a career'. and that's all fine.. but I wouldn't walk into the place I work at present and say.. I'm not here to impress anyone or garner any respect from my fellow grunts (couldn't think of a good equivalent to h----ker). I'd be fired on the spot I'm pretty sure.. if it was within earshot of my manager. I personally wasn't offended.. why? because I don't care if someone else that I don't know respects/values what I do (or in this case what she does). Happiness garnered through others opinion of me is useless. If I respect/value myself.. I'm always happy.

Thought I would say something about this thread, Is it a real job?- Hell yes, dam straight... if a lady is able to give her mind,body and soul to strange men, and make us gents feel amazing as a service, then it is the most difficult job on the planet. What other job would you open up your office to complete strangers and put on a happy face, provide services,put up with daily bullshit from tire kickers(lets call them sales individuals) pay taxes within the year and try to cope with daily issues and then give that stranger a hug and kiss good bye or hello? Yes it is a job, and I thank those women that have allowed myself into their homes/rooms and gave me their service and they always did it with a smiling face, I don't get that personal affect from my other business associates I deal with daily. I often found the toughest part for myself, is that awkward moment after an hour and two hours saying good-bye at the door after you have shared the most important thing to a woman and man (or MFF FMM you get the hint), intimacy...pure intimacy. I always have had the highest regard for a SP/MA over my time, and as far as I'm concerned I rather talk to them then a financial expert,lawyer,politician as the provider always makes a lot more sense and see's things a relative more simple manner. However I never saw anything that was apologetic, it was more a what's you gonna do attitude. I thought about it since someone suggested giving her a second chance. Since she never seemed to think there was anything wrong with what she was saying, and she really did offend some of the members here. I don't think a second chance should even be considered in this case. The mod definitely did the right thing since all of the ladies need to be able to feel comfortable and accepted here.

In order to be respected you must be respectful of others and also of yourself. IMHO Shayla crossed the line and must face the consequences of being banished from the CERB community. This professional is certainly a real job and we do everything that anyone in a regular office/business does to prepare for each and every encounter/meeting. My education and Administrative/Fiance & Accounting/HR corporate jobs have certainly helped with running my business. We do quite a lot of administrative work (emails, PM's, phones and website(s) etc.), organizational and time management skills, finance (budgeting, taxes, auditing our books and financial goal projections etc.) and marketing/advertisement, code of ethics and business morals and of course competition but the competition certainly don't need to be at "war" or under cutting one another, most of us work together to help keep one another safe and offer advice and great support. In the end, our meetings are so much more pleasurable and fun. No minute taking, being phony in a meeting with people in a boardroom you don't care to be there with and the list goes on and on. Number one, I am the Boss/Owner and no one to answer to but me at the end of the day. Yes this is a real job and I have encountered people saying or emailing such things as expressed by the OP. This job is the most fun and rewarding one I have ever had and enjoy what and everything I do. Just like any other job, there are stressful days and we all have personal lives as well. Not everyone is cracked out for this profession but it is very much like working for someone in the in the corporate world except we as independent paid companions do all the work and our business success is solely based on us and the running of our business as such, a real business. There is so much more to my business than answering a phone/text/email and saying sure I'm available give me 15-30 minutes and then just providing the "service". I take my business very seriously and enjoy it as I get things in motion for an encounter.

I left the government to do what I do know. When I did, so many people were shocked, saying 'you left the government?! But the pension!' Well, to put it in perspective, if a guy had come on and said that being a "------" isn't a real job and hopefully no one is planning on doing it past the age of thirty, and then he had made some comment like "I don't care about getting respect from a bunch of ------s" -- well, I think he would have gotten suspended pretty quickly, too. Sorry to hear you feel that way. I am extremely satisfied in making this my career.. Although I've had several what I call 'square' jobs over the years I have been doing this 'job' longer than any other and am always thankful I've found it. Today lying is an "art" practiced by far too many its no longer frowned upon and we accept untruths as long as the news media, politicians,lawyers or law enforcement "spin" it the right way . Wall street, Main street, governments or unions and especially the Media all put their agenda,s ahead of any moral obligation to tell the truth. Yet i still feel hope, even here, where the majority of us on this board have something to hide-their remains the ability, in my humble opinion,that the members here tend to be more truthful and honest than those in the so called open society.

I have lived most of my life in a very small town and still belong to the same church. At the entrance to the church office there is an enclosed alcove where we could sneak out of the weather and partake of the herb. That was decades ago,but recently they started finding used rubbers and syringes almost every morning. Now the alcove has a locked door, and all existing locks doubled as well. Sad commentary imho.

I think that TG is basically asking where did honesty go in our culture. Honesty is a very cheap commodity these days as a whole. Our culture allows and indeed embraces a less honest way of life. It's easier. But is it? Our children are growing up to believe this. Anyone under 30 has been exposed to this culture. All one has to do is turn on the television, listen to a politician (who is expected to lie), or read a magazine (10 ways to cheat on your income tax). My view is that I choose to live in a world where honesty is still prevalent, although not always present. I am not a fool and cant be snowed that easily, so I choose to use my feet/ears and walk/stop listening. I find it much easier to believe people than always be suspicious of everything they say. If it's a lie and not hurting me, I don't care because it reflects on that person, and not me. And I don't lie. It's too hard to remember so I see no point. Unless I know it will hurt someone, then I re-think what I am going to say.

And there was a time when a church would always be open and anyone could enter at any time to say a prayer. This is still true in much of the 3rd world but all the churches where I live are locked until someone opens it before a service and they all need burglar alarms. Maybe this is a symptom of some of the changes in our society. Who would ever burglarize a church? I think drugs, poor parenting, television violence, video game violence and many other factors have changed this generations sense of values and ethics.
