Asking about rates is perfectly appropriate if they are not posted already. However, keep the following in mind: - Look at the SP's profile or advertisement to find directions on how to discover more. Rates may not be posted everywhere, but there may be instructions on how to contact her, or which website to visit in order to see her price list. Making the effort to explore her website/profile first shows you are serious. - If you wish to ask for a session duration shorter than those she has listed prices for, do so at your own risk. Some SP's may be offended because they frequently state outright that the lowest price is the minimum and shorter sessions are not available. - Make sure you read about any restrictions before asking for prices for those services. Most SPs will instantly blacklist you. - Never insult the SP by telling her the price is outrageous, or too high. It's just best to say no thanks and move on. No need to be rude. We all understand that clients are not made of money, so don't be afraid to ask an SP his or her rate just because it may be too high for you. This comes from a discussion I had yesterday with my SO about the federal government and the likely responses to the Bedford rulings. Various groups have proposed making it illegal for "johns" to purchase sex. An argument that keeps coming up is that the sex trade is riddled with women who are the victims of human trafficking. We know that there is a great business in smuggling cigarettes into Canada. Using the same reasoning as above, I call for the government to keep the sale of cigarettes legal but criminalize the purchase of cigarettes. Perhaps they could also establish "Joe Camel" schools to educate the apprehended purchasers about the sad facts of the smuggling trade and the very real effects it has on the people living near the smuggling routes. Disclaimer: I am not in anyway making light of situations where there is actual human trafficking. I find trafficking to be reprehensible and call for the government to investigate and eliminate trafficking using the laws presently on the books.

my two cents between Charlottetown, PE and St. John's, NL. Charlottetown Min Su Cafe, on Water Street = Best Bi Bim Bap (korean salad) I've had (admittedly, I've never been to Korea) and the owner is a real gem. Merchantman Pub, also on Water Street = Pub food with the occasional gastronomic twist, highly recommend the Tupelo Street Chicken, if still on menu. Downtown Deli, on Grafton = Best sandwiches in town (sorry, Leonards, you beautiful German delicatessen, but the Lebanese have you beat). St. John's Get Stuffed, on Duckworth = Great name, great food, great prices and $1 hot dogs on the menu for your picky partner. Sun Sushi, on Duckworth and Stavenger = The Stavenger one seems better for the entire menu, but is an ugly location. You can't go wrong with either for sushi. (disclaimer, i only eat veggie rolls, so perhaps not a real endorsement for real sushi, but if you like spicy broccoli roll...) Crane's, located in a North Atlantic, down the Southern Shore = admittedly not a restaurant, more of a truck stop, but they have a solid chips, dressing and gravy, and their custard cone machine is only broken 8 months of the year.
