Evening Folks Finally time to go thru more of Tom's stuff and to related some of the discussions he and I had at the end of his journey. My little brother, who hated when I said that, because he was born just a couple of minutes after me, really loved the community here. There were some very special people that he wanted you to know how he felt. I will endeavour to send out personal notes to as many as possible, it was a long list.....horny bastard! He did want to send out a special thank you to Marc (k) and Angie at Angels Touch and Paradise Spa. He said he was thankful to get to know you. Always spoke highly of the establishments and the ladies that were there and who played so well! To his friends on the East Coast, he loved the interaction through this venue. Alas, it seems people have had a lot of reasons to share bad experiences and turn-offs they've been having recently. And though such posts can be educational and it's good to vent a bit, I thought it would be nice to hear some happy stories too. :) So my question (for everyone): what's the nicest unexpected act, thing or experience that a lady or gent has surprised you with? For myself, it was probably a wonderful Lyla lady I was messaging back and forth with. It has only been a couple of days since the cancellation was announced. Bear in mind that the people who organize the socials do so entirely voluntarily, get pretty much nothing in return, and have jobs and other things going on in their lives. If they decide that they can't be bothered any more, we'll all be much the poorer for it. The fact that they've just put a lot of time and effort into organizing an event that not enough people can go to - despite the fact that some folks had been explicitly asking for it - is hardly going to be encouraging for them. Giving them shit over the refunds this soon - and publicly, at that - is probably not going to help.

It's been a while since I have said thank you to the women of Lyla.com It's been just a little over 5 years since I had joined Cerb. The first year I mostly lurked and read recommendations and the interesting threads until I finally got the nerve to meet my first SP. The first meeting lead to another meeting and so on. Then I went and tried a MA, but that didn't work out too well:(. But the next MA was a well known GFE MA which showed me how much fun Massage can be :). Recommendations have to be written in a less descriptive manor. Many members have stopped seeing companions afraid of being caught by the new laws. Quite a few women had retired from the profession. But most have stayed and adjusted their advertising to fit with the new rules. But recently the women are coming back and members are starting to post on threads and posting more recommendations. The new laws haven't really changed much so far. No stings or people being arrested in Ottawa yet. The police are only interested in going after pimps and human trafficking. The MA spa's have been hiring many new sexy women. There have been quite a few women that have retired that are coming back to the business. Some of them I considered legends when they were here. I've had taken the opportunity to meet some of them recently, as I had missed my chance before :). And found out why they are so highly recommended. As I have said before, the women who truly enjoy being a companion are the most fun to be with. Hopefully in time this government will be replaced and the laws changed so that we can have more freedom of expression. So here is my toast to the women of Lyla.com. Let's take s deep breath here and I'm not into a flame war. That said, the requests for the little bit of money would of been best to had done in private. It leaves a bad taste in the two individuals that put in their endless efforts to organize these events. Yes everyone has done some kind of organization in fund raisers, socials,golf outings but out of respect as I've done numerous of these type of events we try to please everyone, and to respond within 5 days or 10 days whatever the case might be its best to have some kind of patience for VOLUNTEERS. This never should of come out in this thread about monies owned. My humble opinion. And Alexxandria and Skates thanks for ALL you both do, it is difficult to please everyone.

Last night, I had a miscommunication VIA txt messages. Messages were not coming threw in right order and so on. Well he almost decided not to come, but then said alright on my way.... I was just so happy that he decided to have faith and still visit with me rather than jumping to conclusion that I was not sincere. So often we don't give or get the benefit of doubt when these things happen. I am grateful that he did, as we hit it off amazingly! I am sure I have made a lasting friendship:)

Even if it was September social or the Christmas social, its paid for in advance. If it was myself that's what I would done, my monies are paid for the next one. No big deal. So now, instead of taking 45 mins to drive back home, I will do the e-mail transfer, and just to show I am not cheap, I will send an extra dollars in interest. And BTW since its seems its the organisers who should stop living to contact everyone, I will make sure, in the morning, to txt the lady, who's ticket was also being paid for, and let her know if she comes in September, she now needs to buy her own ticket.
