That was what I thought as well... the thing is, I've been in a few pretty messed up relationships. Then, when something happens that reminds you of the past, you may begin to think that you're still living in it. In any case, I decided to back peddle a bit and incorporate the good advice given here into my approach (thank-you all for contributing!) I sent her a text saying that I was hurt by the fact that I hadn't heard from her, but also that in the heat of the moment, I'd said some things on voice mail which I shouldn't have. Anyway, I still hadn't heard from her by late last night, so I decided to send one final text. To my surprise, she called me crying, saying that she had been completely stressed out about college starting up again, lack of sleep, the mess in her apartment, weight issues etc.. The role of Senate hearings may appear to be a further investigation into "facts" of the matter however their primary role is in looking at wording and grammar and legal/parliamentary language of the bill. In THEORY the Senate has the power to defeat a bill but in reality it cannot happen as it would cause a constitutional crisis as these are unelected officials. I expect that the hearings will be a farce, as were the hearings at the Justice Committee. It is clear that logic and sound argument will be ignored and the people that deliver the sex workers message will continue to be ignored and ridiculed. This is now in the hands of the political system. The ONLY way that this bill can be tossed out is for witnesses to throw away their logic and sound studies and use their time to call out the evangelicals and the Tory puppets to a degree that it will force news and media to look at this legislation. The public has no idea of the implications of this legislation. Anti Bill C-36 witnesses should use shock value or boycott the hearings entirely, because to appear with their message only empowers government to say that they have in fact listened and gives Conservatives validity. My two cents worth.

As many of you know, cancer continues to march along, treatments both here and Toronto have had a very small delaying effect and I should see the new year. However, I am grateful for: -being able to appreciate a really nice camel toe like the one on my young nurse from the last two weeks (I really wanted to drop something on the floor so I could get closer!!!! A long time ago I worked for a company where I had gotten a promotion. I turned loss into profit, tripled sales and brought quality standard back. I was motivated, to prove some doubters wrong. There were a few coworkers and even some upper management that just gave me a really hard time. It was obvious they did not like me. I had never done anything to them and always tried to please them. I eventual burned out and quit. I used to dwell and ask myself why, until someone explained this to me. If I were to take 10 random people and put them in a room with me 4 of the ten would like me, 4 would hate me and 2 just wouldn't care. So 6 of those people you don't need in your life. He went on to explain this was the results of some university social experiments conducted. Now I don't know if its true or how reliable these statistic are, but I chose to believe it. Now when I meet someone who seem like they don't like me I just chalk it up as one of those 6 people, It just is. So guys if your rejected just think of them as one of the 6 people who you don't need. How much fun can you have if that person doesn't like you? Its sad and it may suck but it's just a fact of life not everybody going to like you. Easier just to move on.

In reading the thread it occurred to me that another reason a lady may make the decision to decline is that at some point during contact or verification is that she may know the gentleman in a context outside the lifestyle. Such as a co-worker, friend or friend of the family, professor or an actual family member. Which is why I suspect many ladies specify clients over a certain age or other screening factors, in order to reduce the risk of booking with someone they know and would be uncomfortable seeing in an intimate setting. In this case when the lady declines the date it would be saving both parties a great deal of embarrassment. Although the lady may not say this specifically in the decline, but any gent should accept a decline gracefully and take it as fate or a sign that the date was not destined to happen. Just my thoughts.

At first when I booked someone I was looking at posts where the lady was 30 or above, I felt this was the age there would be more than just the sex in the bedroom. I think it depends what you want it for? If you live in Toronto probably don't need one as TO doesn't get cold like other parts of the country. But if you want it for style, then go for it. I know for myself I see lots of people wearing them here in Ottawa and for my tastes I like to be different, and get something different. Plus I don't need an 800 dollar jacket so I'll get something half the price and just as good. A store to check out would be Sail, carry lots of quality brands... Can't go wrong there.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being very important....6-7. Seems to me that some clients demand 100% satisfaction or else they consider they session a total failure and want their money back. I think it's unrealistic to expect a provider to take a week off every month given the prices here in Canada. Can anyone imagine losing 25% of their income due to an unavoidable, naturally occurring event? In the past I have worked thru my period and never had an issue. Some clients I informed if I knew they may have an issue, others I didn't. I've used sponges for most of my career because penetration often caused break thru bleeding which was not part of my menstrual cycle. Life happens, especially during sex. Some municipalities are defining the word "Escort" improperly here in Canada! In municipal by-law's some cities here in Canada have defined the word "Escort" as a person who goes on paid dates but does not participate in sexual acts with clients in exchange for money. They do this as they want to license escorts but they do not want to accept that the escorts are having sex for the money (that would make them pimps and pimping or "living off the avails" is illegal in Canada). We all know that the term "Escort" is a person who is a "Sexual service provider" also known as such things as a "Call girl", "Courtesan", "Prostitute", "hooker", "Whore", "Harlot", and many other names. Many of the names are demeaning and not respectful as we all know so the ladies choose to use better words such as "Escort" so that they are not grouped in with the women who solicit sex illegally on the street (Also illegal in Canada). In Canada being paid for sex is legal and paying for sex is also legal. What is not legal is pimping, underage of 18, public solicitation / communicating / procuring for the purpose of sex and keeping a bawdy-house. Your common "out-call" service provider who does not solicit in public, does not have a pimp, is of legal age and charges for sex is not breaking the law! So why can they not call themselves a "Escort" in some municipalities? Because the municipality writes these by-laws defining the word "Escort" to mean something that it is not! Most municipalities do this to try to get rid of the ladies. Many of you think they do this because they want to make money off the girls... but that is not true! They don't want the girls in the cities at all. They want to force them to move to another city or quit being a prostitute all together. They use any revenue made from the licenses to further police (and I say police but remember they are not real police they are paid city officials that are actually by-law enforcement and can not charge anyone with a criminal code charge - as much as some will try to make you believe they have this power) Some cities are going to even greater lengths by asking the local police to accompany the by-law officers and try to entrap a few ladies into public solicitation (so that they can stir some fear in the ladies). Yes, they are actually doing this! Activist groups are now challenging the laws in court that take rights away from sex trade workers - don't think that this will not trickle down to the municipalities who are also taking away legal rights of people! It will not be long till you bully the ladies enough in your city that they unite and challenge your moral based by-law in court. It will end up costing your city a fair amount of money and one nasty slap on the hand to tell you that you can not take rights away from people who are not breaking the law (just because you don't like what they do for a living!) You should take the advise of your town lawyers who have probably told you that passing a by-law like this can backfire, it's only a matter of time before the ladies unite against you (any many men support them - every day more are supporting the ladies publicly as well as it's not so taboo any more to employee the services of a sex trade worker. It is the oldest profession as you know! Keep in mind that with todays technology (the internet) it's much easier to communicate and form communities (Like this one) you and other cities could bully the ladies in the past (knowing they would not group together) but you are very wrong if you think that will continue in this day and age... it simply will not hold true! Opinion of a guy - what Erin and cmj are posting is the way things always have been and will be unfortunately. But it really is a parallel to life outside the massage service world. Guys that are rude , creepy and gross that don't know how to treat women in the 9-5 world never get laid or have a happy partner either. A key word is respect too. Hi, So last night I went to a spa and got massaged by a lovely lady leading to an explosive ending. But I have a question. How long is a one hour massage really?
