Many of us donate to charity all year long whether it be through churches, the United Fund or many of the other commendable organizations that are out there. As we approach the Christmas season thoughts go to others very often and decisions and choices are made. It shouldn't be that its only in December that people contribute that little bit extra here and there but that in reality is very much the way of it. Therefore, if you give where should it be? For me my thinking has changed over the years. For a few years as a Christmas gift I gave goats to families in third world countries through the World Vision organization. Two years ago I decided that there are people in need in Canada so I moved much of my donation to local food banks. Last year I gave a donation to Power as a Christmas gift. This year I am undecided as yet. POWER or PIVOT are choices for their work with sex workers and their involvement in fighting our one year old legislation. I gave a small donation today to a local group that is sponsoring a Syrian refugee family. There are so many great places that require funding. Wherever I decide to make donations I will check beforehand to be assured that the funds are going to the place and purpose that I intend and not primarily to administrative fees. Whether it be because of Christmas, or for any other reason, I encourage everyone to support worthwhile groups that assist those of us who are less fortunate than we may be ourselves.

I think I had Jackies' LAST training session today, and I can tell you...She IS Ready!! Of course the legendary, beautiful and soooo sexy Jessica was on hand to guide the session along, but we all sort of just meshed together and the fun was non stop. Another proud "darksider" here. :) Lived in Dartmouth much of my life and am happy to do so. It is funny how many people from across the harbour act like crossing the bridge is entering a different country. You can get to downtown Halifax from Dartmouth faster than you can many places within Halifax itself! And yes, there are good and less reputable streets on both sides of the bridge. But as others have said, I put much more stock into the reputation and communication of a lady than any worries about location.

I actually went to Halifax to work once. It was a personal vacation, and if I could see a gent or two, perfect, however, if I didn't, no big deal. I was travelling with my dog, so limited on hotels. I found one in Dartmouth, and made a reservation. However, once I got there, I was like, no way, I will not stay there. I drove around, and found a beautiful hotel just 5 minutes away from the one I was going to stay at. 100% difference in the two hotels. Spent the weekend there, had a blast, and enjoyed myself. However, some of the guys that called me were like, No, I won't travel to Dartmouth. No big deal to me, as I was having a great time. For those that did come to see me, they were surprised at the hotel and that it was nice. It was a chain, so the standards are the same for each location. So, yes, Dartmouth seems to have a bad reputation. I'm not from NS, so don't know all the ins and outs. However, my one experience staying at a hotel there, is yes, there is a difference that is like night and day within the same block. Funny, the nice hotel, was only $20 more per night then the dive I originally booked. Good luck beautiful!

Mikeyboy from the Dark side, (I hope that term is not offensive) I knew you lived there as you told me a long time ago actually I think it's quite beautiful there in certain areas. Oh do I ever fully understand the nature of these specific areas/streets, building and all the goings on. I live in Halifax lol, same crap just different locations. Those Dartmouth streets and areas I will not venture to for sure and I'm not from there, not a good combo. I have a number of regular clients in Dartmouth, family and friends and they leave out nothing and always give the scoop and I read what goes on in said places that gets posted online too. I do have a trusty list of streets to avoid and stay safe. You must stick to your rules and stay safe. It is both parties choice in how to remain safe by making wise decisions. If you miss a gem, another will appear for sure but never compromise your safety. In those few areas do avoid the unknown ladies, do your research and read the warning sections. I'm a Dartmouth guy through and through, and I'll defend it to any of the Dartmophobic Haligonians. ;) That being said, there are still a few areas that I have learned through experience to avoid with unknown ladies. It is a different story of course of the lady is known and has a reputation. When I say I avoid some of these places, I'm talking about toftt situations. The few times I have broken these rules did not lead me to "safe clean warm welcoming locations." I'm not sure you understand the nature of some of these specific areas mentioned with this description. We are not talking about generalizing huge geographic locations either. We are talking about a few specific groups of buildings on a few specific streets. We all have to do what we can on both sides of this industry to ensure our own safety and comfort. If I miss the odd hidden gem, then so be it. Anything I can do to help ensure my safety, I must do.

It doesn't surprise me that location is an important factor, but it does surprise me that anyone would have an issue with Danielle's location. Yeah but if we would use a little more discretion we could save our selves a lot of problems. Information from these boards faking into the wrong people's hands has contributed to inconveniences and priblems for providers and customers. We need to develop a safer way to inform Some times more being vague is better And certainly threads like this that contain partial address or partial name of the business should be avoided. I basically figure this business location is completely ruins for us. I am purposely not making these points on other threads that have similar flaws because I don't want to contribute to the ruining of that provider as well.

Several of the women here have had personal problems and financial troubles. But they love their jobs and have had to lay low, change there names and locations due to ex's or other personal circumstances. I have to say that I love Lyla for sharing information Lately I have been seeing so much bait and switch comments, I thought I might put my own thoughts on this out there. Fake pictures; rediculously low rates; ads that are so grammatically bad they look like they were written by a five year old; WeIrD sYmB@Ls in the titles; different phone numbers for same girl/different girl(s) with same number; ads that disappear; no website or reviews to look at; sketchy areas known for this; available 24/7 (uh, when do they shower, clean or sleep?); not so appealing incall location; multiple people in the incall (a sure fire indication something is going on); 'party friendly' (generally code word for drugs); you call two or three times and a different voice each time 'claims' to be the name in the ad; in town for two days, but you have been calling for ten days; "well reviewed" in the ads but they can't tell you where those reviews are; fee is different when you get there from what was advertised; where does in end? Reputable providers don't usually make their availability in sketchy areas of town or go to areas they do not feel safe in. Nor do they use someone else's photos. They have a screening process to a certain degree and are polite and accommodating. The stories of things like, "I have to go pay the driver", "omg, my boyfriend/mother just came in, let me get him/her out of here", "just let me have a quick smoke before we get started", these are the things that I see written here, but guys fall for it all the time! These girls take your money and disappear. Reputable providers do not 'have' to do ANY of those things. When you show up to an incall, it will be a welcoming spot, with clean sheets, a fresh environment and warm and friendly smile and hug. When are guys going to wake up and realize that you get exactly what you pay for when others have claimed bait and switch, or the ad just seems too good to be true. I was told of three different bait and switch girls working in the same city where I am, but in locations I wouldn't walk through in broad daylight never mind at night! But guys are continuously asking about these same girls! These girls pull the old 'someone is here' and go out the door! With your money! If you show up, and the girl isn't who is advertised, appears drunk/high or both, turn around and go home. Seeing this crap and letting others know about who is doing this, helps other guys see that they are about to waste their money. These so-called providers need to be stopped, your safety is just as much of a concern to me as my safety is. I like to think that someone feels completely comfortable in my surroundings. I have a minor medical condition which affects my sexual performance. (Google "frenulum breve premature ejaculation" for the details). Remember though, in this day and age with even more ladies getting into the business than ever before, not all older SPs are necessarily more experienced than some of the younger ones.
