The problem that I have been having is the rudeness from callers because I won't discuss rates or services. I guide them to my ads and website. Which they really should have been reading before they contacted me. :tresmauvaisehumeur: It isn't to be rude or anything, but to have someone call and the first thing they ask is "what are your rates?" when I have them on all of my ads is ridiculous. Discussing services is something else I don't do for legal reasons and why I have my reviews posted on my website. I have done this long before the new bill. I did it to save myself from being put in a legal position and to give the person an idea of what they're in for. I also hate repeating myself. I don't know how "great' everything is going to be because a lot of people a getting scared away from the hobby all together. I do see your point as the supply pool will go down and the demand will increase. I have thought about that also. However, I don't study economics. Just anatomy and physiology.... ;) SD

Good morning my Friends, Enemies, Countrymen I entered this land of Cerb in 2010, longer than some, but not as long as others. Through this time I have made some great Friends, wonderful relationships and fun / sassy encounters that I have fully enjoyed. If you are reading this, I am assuming you have previously read the ones on getting cancer (the fu....oops sorry mod, the bastard) and the ups and down, trials and tribulations (sounds like my sex life!!) over the past couple of years. Well the end is nigh. The objective is to be around for Super Bowl, to know what that is and not think it is a luxury, Japanese toilet. Although the surgery to the shoulder removed a good chunk of cancer cells from the bone and muscle, it ended up travelling to the cortex and continues to grab onto chunks of the brain (what little brain there is!). The chemo treatments, especially the experimental ones helped to delay, sometimes shrink the bastard but it still crept along. Memory has become a huge issue with holes as big as Ottawa's sink holes in the expressway, the gps has become my day to day companion when driving, starting to need one when walking! Thinking of wearing a sign around my neck along with my mittens with strings, that points to my house, or a bar that serves great single malt scotch. You know you are on the way out when the docs are arranging your next treatment when they say, "we will fit you in when convenient", not sure who it is convenient for...... Squirrel!!! sorry I wandered off for a bit Anyway, back to the Ladies of Cerb. Whether a MA or .., as previously stated, I have been lucky enough to enjoy a friendship and a kinship with and I am ever grateful. I love the banter, silliness, the heart to heart discussions some of us have had. The hugs, kisses and spanks (obviously mod, the spanks were for my birthday!) were always a treat. I have started to say good bye to a few of you that have been very special to me. Some in person, some by email or pm. I am sure I will miss some with this .... full of swiss cheese. It's as simple as this. You are now technically paying for time and companionship ONLY. It's best to call a lady by phone so no trail of email or texts. Do not ask explicit questions and especially where money is concerned. This will now be illegal on your end. The ladies are legally allowed to tell you what they offer but you CANNOT ask. Some ladies may not discuss anything explicit out of discretion for their customers because they want to protect the gentlemen they may be seeing. Stay away from anyone you cannot find legit intel on. I don't know what to call it now in some cases. This also has a lot to do with technology. Everything is instant gratification for some. I was told to "screw that" the other day when I pointed someone in the direction of my website after already answering their most important question which was rates.. They can take the time to peruse adult classified ads but suddenly have a problem when being asked to actually taking a few minutes to read my website. These are not the customers I seek in my choice of target market. It will take some time but when people such as the above example truly realize the consequences of their potential actions, they will change how they conduct themselves when contacting a lady. It won't happen overnight. Some will give this up altogether but when I first started in this line of work, people were very hesitant in asking and often apologized for not wanting to come across as crude or rude. I often used code phrases that were not considered explicit with the phrases sounding like I was about to go on an actual date. I have also changed my website accordingly. A few gentlemen I have met in the last few weeks and months do not really quite know what's going on and I have given them a quick run down. They were very surprised and I let them know not to ask explicit things when contacting a lady. As members here, most of us who read this site on a regular or daily basis know exactly what's going on. Anywhere else, most are not up to date with exactly what is about to happen. Some haven't even heard about it. One customer at a time.

Tom... Goodbyes are sad.... but... being able to say goodbye is the only downfall of having said hello in the first place. Place was busy today during lunch time. Lots of patrons and girls. Food was very good. Roast beef and gravy, pasta, french fries, olives, salad, rice, mashed potatoes. Filling, tasty, nutritious and satisfying meal. On Wednesdays food is free with a beverage which typically costs 6 to 7$. Playmates is a friendly place. Helpful and friendly staff. Advertizing will therefore have to focus on what a fantastic person you are, rather than the specific things you'll do with people. There are other rules too, but those have been around for a long time, are in the FAQ, and haven't changed.

I have had a bit of a shopping week so I have purchased a number of things... one item is a toaster oven... i know not that exciting but with winter fast approaching it will be nice to be able to grill a couple of nice tenderloin steaks and enjoy a great meal even when the weather is not suitable to BBQ.

There used to be sections with different names there, but in this new world order, the old section names might imply that we are doing things that would put us in contradiction to the law. Basically we do not trust the Canadian powers that be, with these new laws it's only a matter of time when our compliance is not good enough so this way we have a .COM domain name (canada does not have any governing body over .com only .ca) so we felt this needed to happen sooner then later. Thanks RG. I also want to give a shout out to the guys who are also adapting to the changes. I've met some really great guys recently, and the one thing they keep saying is that they are glad I'm doing things on the up and up. They don't need to worry when seeing me, because I've adapted and personally love the changes.

Having been through many changes from once doing only 1 hour plus appts where clients would actually take the time to read a website and where the economy was much more stable with more cash to play around with to returning after a few years and everything was very different. I had more of a jet set lifestyle then traveling all the time and having 2 high end condos in two different cities at the same time. I was on my game when I left. I came back and began working with another lady doing half hour appts and realizing that most men were looking at the non industry sites where classified ads took over. This also included dropping my rates a bit to fit into the current business model I was now using. This was same day spots mostly middle day nooners for guys who wanted to by on their lunch break and the guys on the drive home. That's where business was at during this time. I didn't even know how to speak to customers on the phone because everything I used to do by email and get the number to confirm. It took some time and at first there were things I thought I didn't want to adjust to because I was so used to doing things a certain way. I told myself to get off my high horse because things were different now and if I were coming back to this business, nothing ever stays the same. I thought I was "humbling" myself at the time but I look back now and realized I became vert comfortable with the ways things were. I'm still here and I have adjusted. I have great customers, I've enhanced my communication skills by being able to converse with customers a lot more and more outgoing as a result. I took such characteristics as my age, my looks and body type, ny personality and made it work within the current climate in the business then and now. Sometimes there are things we don't want to necessarily adjust to but if you want to survive in business, you have to adapt to what's happening around you and just go with it. In any type of business, it's sink or swim. And I've decided to swim and I've got the life jacket. The life jacket came with life lessons learned, age and maturity and "humbling" one 's self when needed. I adapted many times and will again.

Just a suggestion, the word blocker that another site uses, rather then dots.... when you hit submit, red letters appear that says Warning: these terms are not allowed. IE: If I tried happyending the word block will say not allowed so I had to change to : always leave happy. Perhaps this will help people to think of better words to use without the frustration of ......dots. Once you edit it and get rid of the offensive word, then the post goes threw, however if you try too many times, then your ad is simply depleted with no refund.
