Personally, I WAY prefer Tim's over Starbucks, although Tims is not my favorite. I really cant stand Starbucks coffee at all. I find it extremely bitter. I really love strong coffee so its not that.. it just tastes very bitter to me. Believe it or not my absolute fav is McDs. I remember when I was a kid my Mom bought 1 on the 401 &almost spilled it everywhere bcuz she was so disgusted. She gave it to me to dispose of and it was the colour of spent laundry water! They made major changes and a few yrs ago I tried it during one of the 'free coffee give-aways' and fell in love. THEN I found out the price! Not only is it by far the most inexpensive coffee, you can also add a muffin for a mere 20 cents when you buy a coffee! So not only is it the best tasting in my opinion, its also the most affordable! But between Starbucks and Tims, I gotta go with Tims for both taste and value. I hope I didn't offend anyones taste buds. To each their own! xoxo

Unfortunately, too many people think this way. Pitbulls cause so many deaths and injuries. But, like the gun lobby, the argument is pitbulls don't kill people, pitbulls trained by people to be bad kill people. The pitbulls involved in deaths are usually involved in dogfighting, and a abused to the point of being dangerous. The people that get killed are those involved as well, and sometimes their family or neighbors. The vast majority of bully breeds are not subjected to the maltreatment and abuse that creates the vicious dog. The vast majority would never hurt a fly. Winnipeg does have a vicious dog by-law, which is not breed specific. Chihuahua to Great Dane, if your dog is a threat to people or animals, it can be dealt with by the authorities. So there is absolutely no need for a breed specific ban. Breed specific bans are based on looks, not actions. Which is not fair. Especially to those bully breeds that get rescued and need good, kind homes. Those people that want these dogs cannot have them. sad for both, really.

I have been having lower back pain issues for some time now, 3 weeks +. I decided to go to a massage therapist for my first time ever to see what could be resolved. After the session, I'm a little sore, and also much more relaxed physically and mentally; and excited about my next session next week. Thinking about the session and what I received from it I realized that part of me received some satisfaction from "touch" almost like "cuddling". I had a similar epiphany. I'm nowhere near as experienced as some of the people on this board, but I work an extremely high-stress job, started developing lower back pain, and started going to MAs occasionally as a way to help cope. Then one MA just voluntarily gave me a bodyslide (I didn't ask for it, it was just a nice extra), and at that moment I felt like I was 16 again. Hello :) I get where you're coming from. However, I was referring to specific kinds of cancellations. Yes, at times clients indeed get caught up in life; those clients often apologize and have valid reasons e.t.c. That's life. It happens with Sp's, myself included too. I was not talking about that. I was talking about the clients who go out of their way to harass ladies in general, which happens frequently. I felt as though the content of my comment made that clear, as I did specifically mention those who re-created emails and phone numbers to fake book and harass Sp's. I do see how I made an error though. I expressed my distaste for this behaviour on a thread with another ladies problem with a potential client. Perhaps that was not the best thing to do, and I can see how it looked like I was lashing at clients for cancelling. That was not my intention and I apologize if people felt I was doing so. I hope this clarifies things. And yes, I do firmly believe that if you harass someone at work and constantly go out of your way to create fake numbers and emails, especially over the age of 20 you do have emotional or developmental problems that should be sorted out. I have a hard time seeing otherwise, but I am open to a different perception on the issue. Respectfully, -Chloe. It depends entirely on the services. Paying for sexual services in Canada is illegal, however, the city of Winnipeg licenses body rub parlours and practitioners. Yes there was an artical in yeasterdays Winnipeg Freepress of a couple stuck in Brandon traveling frrom Fort Mac. Can't fly the dog out of winnipeg and can't drive threw Ont. I would say you better fly your dog from there or you will be SOL.

Winnipeg is the least of your problems. All of Ontario has the same law and are far more proactive about enforcing it. If you aren't willing to roll the dice than you should look at shipping your dog on an airline or driving through the states.

I hate these restrictions too, although if I am traveling I very rarely bring my dog with me and have friends or family look after her while I am gone. I too own one of these breeds, she is so tame and gentle. A huge sucky baby ! I honestly don't like trouble or problems for me or my dog so generally we live where the breed is aloud and there are no bans or small bans of her just being leashed and muzzled in public but still allowed. It sucks sometimes but I don't want the hefty fines or trouble for my baby girl. Good luck ! nothing is worth the risk when it comes to your best friend, especially if it is a big risk and can be avoided :)

As someone trained in massage this is definitely also possible for therapists :) I've studied in shiatsu where philosophically we do not differentiate so much between the person giving and receiving and are trained to work in a way where we are listening to and caring for our own bodies at the same time as we are giving to others. Often skilled practitioners will say that any chronic pain or injuries they themselves have are healed through their massage practices. Part of giving a good massage is being highly attuned to what is happening in your own body.

Its probably unfair but there are just too many stupid people in Winnipeg they had to do something. You do have to apply for a permit to transport a prohibited dog through the city didn't look like there was a charge for it also doesn't say anything about not being able to stop. The fine for not having a permit is $1000.00 nothing about destroying the dog if you're passing through town. You might want to actually do a little research but if not Winnipeg has a perimeter highway its very easy to drive around.
