There appears to be a new trend in Ottawa strip bars that some dancers come on stage sometimes after a long break and a long wait by patrons around the stage and they still keep their panties on after three songs. This is not for sure going to help with dying strip bar business as it can be sometimes frustrating and bores the audience enough that they leave. After all these bars are not topless bars but STRIP bars!!!!!. . Correct me if I am wrong but I do not believe the new laws as stupid as they are, they do not ban strip dancing on stage or watching nude dancers as long as there is no contact with patrons. Pigale and Barbarellas appear to be mostly the bars that some dancers are allowed to keep the panties on while on stage for all three songs. I think Barefax and Playmates and Taboo still enforce the rule (I don't know about NuDen as I haven't been there for Years). Even in these bars quite a few wait until the last few seconds to partially take off the panties!!!!. When I asked a few dancers for the reason they told me they wish to keep the audience curious and one told me if they wish to see more they have to take us to the Champagne rooms!!. To make the matter worse most dancers now even keep their panties on for the first song in the Champagne room as well and a few even to the end of second song so yeah if you wish to see more then you have to pay at least $60 for some dancers. The reason being that they wish to keep the patron curious so that they are kept for more songs. So it is the economics in most cases if not all and not a shyness factor or personal choice otherwise in latter case I would have had no objection. I personally don't mind too much for the the first song panties on policy but those few who keep the panties on till the third song I boycott them for private dance no matter how much I may like them. How do you feel about this new trend? My vote as my post shows goes for agreeing that panties should come off on stage in a strip club in the last song at the latest. I know I may get bashed my Club Lovers but the scene is slowly dying out. If you look back at just over the last 20 years, it has been on a decline. Yes, the panties rule would not be a good thing at all for the dancers industry, but I don't think they should come off at all. Let's face it, clubs are not the most sanitary places. I think a thong or g-string is still very nice to look at and leaves a little to the imagination. It is called a strip club but that doesn't mean you have to strip naked. Love camel-toe! Hello Everyone First I would like to thank everyone for their condolences,they are appreciated by her many friends and family. This isnt good news,but it is somehow better news than what we were given before.It doesnt bring Summer back,and it still causes a great deal of pain, but different. And here is why...the detectives found security footage in her building.She was NOT assaulted.Fortunately,she was not assaulted,BUT,I suspect she was in a tremendous pain.It shows Summer taking two winter tires into a stair well(to store for summer).A few minutes later,she is shown in the elevator holding her head and in obvious distress.The tires were found in the stairwell and a radiator at the foot of the stairs had Summers hair on it.So she must have fallen down the stairs with the tires and hit her head on the radiator so hard that it fractured the back of her skull, and caused an enormous brain bleed in the front of the brain.She was found half on and off the couch.She had to have been in terrible pain with these types of injuries.So I am glad she wasnt fighting for her life but the pain had to have been blinding.So Summer doesnt come back....but now we know Written by Summers sister If ppl are wondering why I have posted this,we close friends decided her family needs the help and people would like to know Summer had three children and they could desperately use the help Here is the link http://www.gofundme.com/funeral-expenses-for-penny-sherwood Any help is appreciated Alex

I just realized that today is my 11th year on Lyla. Holy crap, where did the time go? LOL There have been so many changes over the 11 years I've been on here. At the start, you couldn't even do recommendations. Though there is only a handful of us left from the beginning, I want to thank them for all their hard work over the years to get this thing going. If only the newer members could see what this site looked like at the beginning and how much it's changed from that time, you'd be amazed.

I enjoy seeing women naked and it's something I look forward to before I ask for a private dance. I've asked some dancers why they didn't and it was simply that they did not feel like getting completely nude when the place is slow, when there's only a few people with no clapping or cheering, when the crowd doesn't seem to be into it. I do understand the emotion behind that, but it's not realistic. I want the ladies I see who take me to heaven to do very well and stay in the business. I want them to make good money and see them succeed in their business and in life. A gentleman must overrule this base instinct with higher reasoning and act accordingly, but not all clients have that level of self-awareness.

ive had a discussion with a SP that said shes had competing SP's book and no-show on her and also report her to the hotel to get her booted out. Not saying this is whats happening when every john pulls a no-show though. and the fake ads are up to trick people in to doing e-transfer etc, so its just someone casting a wide net to try and profit off of mens stupidity. there are a lot of ads that may not be fake but are toronto based, and thats just the fault of the backpages system allowing ads to be posted in multiple areas far apart, and some SP's not knowing that thunder bay isnt a suburb of toronto. the best way to fix this would be to have more discussion about successful visits/ failures. i try to post any helpful information i have. One thing someone can do would be post ads on BP notifying people of this community that might not be aware of it to maybe bring in more info, but this may be against terms of service of this site, backpages, or may just bring false information here.

Manchester by the Sea. I'm not normally a fan of family trauma movies but went to this one on a whim yesterday. It's exceptionally well acted, intense, and moving. Not easy viewing in many ways but well done.

One I could never make sense of is: "brand new! Very well reviewed!" Was never really sure how you could manage both at once...

I strongly suggest the movie Trumbo based on the story of Dalton Trumbo, a screenwriter who was blacklisted in the fifties by HUAC. And then if you want something really uplifting afterwards, you can make it a theme night by watching Hail Caesar! the new Cohen bros movie :)

A Few Good Men - re-watched it last night - excellent ensemble cast and thoughtful script by Aaron Sorkin.

"She's Funny That Way" directed by Peter Bogdanovich (on Netflix). Very funny and well written. It made me think a lot of a Woody Allen movie with a bit less intellectual side in it.

The Revenant - wow!
