I am not paranoid in any way shape or form, nor is Emily feeding my paranoia (which I don't have) I am concerned that a lady may book with this "RG" assuming he is me but he could be a bad date, or worse. Hence why I posted this in the warnings section. It isn't the first time someone has tried to pass themselves off as another guy, nor will it be the last The lady who told me thought it was worth warning me about. And a couple other people thought I should be concerned too. I'd rather err on the side of safety, and let the ladies know someone has copied my profile. Actually he has every right to feel how he does, some women don't screen or read mens posts on boards, they see a handle that looks familiar and they book them. This other RG sounds like a real prize and any woman who has the misfortune of spending time with him - I feel for. Not like other RG could not have picked another handle - sounds a bit off to me and we should keep our eyes on him.

I am not a regular poster, nor a long term hobbyist but I am looking for some feedback on the issue of booking appointments. My experience applies to both SPs and MPs. On multiple occasions I have booked appointments in advance (1-2 days) either by PM, email or text; whatever is most appropriate for the provider. I then am asked to confirm the day of the appointment typically several hours in advance...okay no problem I do that. But where I have an issue is when I do the follow up a couple of hours in advance and I get no response. In some cases I only receive an email several days later with a reason why they couldn't make the appointment. Now I can see if it was a emergency or a serious issue, but that isn't often the case. Isn't it common courtesy for the provider to let a scheduled appointment know if they are not available (via PM or text) as the client is planning their day accordingly just as the SP does. After all as a client I wouldn't want to be a no show w/o explanation for them. Am I missing something or do I have the wrong set of expectations on fairness goes both ways?!?!

I celebrated Canada Day today as I an a very proud Canadian.... not proud of Harper and McKay but proud to be a Canadian. Many of you may not know this but in Newfoundland July 1st also has a second significance, I guess to be accurate July 1St in Newfoundland was significant long before it was selected as Canada Day. Prior to 1949 Newfoundland was a separate independent country and participated in the 1st and 2nd world wars as a separate country following the 1st world war a National War Memorial was built and July 1st was selected as Memorial Day (yes we still recognize November 11th) . July 1st was selected by the Country of Newfoundland because it was the day in which 800 solders from Newfoundland answered the call to battle in the first day of the Battle of the Somme during the 1st WW the following day less than 100 answered toll call. This huge loss of life impacted almost every community in Newfoundland. For this reason the people if Newfoundland still mark July 1st as Memorial day. So while a proud Canadian I an also a proud Newfoundlander and I celebrated July 1st as both Canada Day and Memorial Day.

I've been in the "hobby" for more than thirty years. In all that time I've been stood up on three occasions. Most recently, I had two back to back no shows in less than 24 hours. Both were booked days in advance. Both were confirmed the day before. Radio silence followed on the day of the date. In one case the provider had a legitimate & hilarious excuse, the other; not so much. Both are reputable local providers. My point is: from time to time, shit happens. Three no shows in 30+ years is not that bad. Two in less than a day might be enough to sour a fledgling hobbyist. I still see one of the two local providers. The other: not so much. The best advice is to move on. Find a reputable local or touring provider and try again.

I'm with Emily on this one. RoammingGuy is one of the most prominent, famous and respected CERB members. I haven't met a CERB lady that wouldn't know immediately who I was referring to if I mentioned him. Rightly or wrongly it takes the ladies a lot of time and effort to check references and many would jump at the chance to meet and spend time such a respectful gentleman. The attempt to impersonate me almost worked and was really sinister (the perpetrator already had a bad reputation to the point he had no choice but to try to impersonate someone).

I couldn't agree more with you fStop. Whatever the nature of your experience with a provider, always keep in mind we are talking about people, not human cargo or a piece of meat. That is the minimal respect they are entitled to.

That part is quite a coincidence. It's a serious matter though, I have had ladies I have not met before not even bother to check me out based on recognizing my handle here or treat me different than a stranger in other potentially dangerous ways (if it wasn't really harmless me) and then when someone did intentionally impersonate me it was very disturbing.

That's excellent and really what the client deserves. No two ladies are exactly alike so unless she tells us it takes time to learn about her. No sweeter words are spoken when I don't yet "know" the lady than this is what I really like and exactly how I like it :)

Some very interesting points, a few thoughts. - I didn't think it was degrading. If the MAs do I'd love to hear from them. IMO this is an industry where looks are important, but we all have different preferences. As a former spa girl, I can say that yes, there was sometimes less demand on the weekend, but it may have been influenced by the shortage in employees; it becomes a chicken/egg question. What I can say for certain is that as with any other job, employees often wanted weekends off as these are the typical days off for the rest of the population. Workers would want to spend time with their children, spouses, or friends, or perhaps participate in community events on the weekend and thus tried to avoid working those days.

Normally I don't respond to posts of differing opinions. But in this case I thought a response is warranted. At first, I took Emily's post as a rebuke. I could almost see the virtual finger wagging in my face. But upon reflection, I realized that Emily was just expressing her personal belief. With all due respect, I'd like to offer a different perspective. I am of that age group that remembers life before the Internet, before Facebook and Twitter and most certainly before Cerb. Discussions behind closed doors propagated wide spread ignorance. As a young lad,thirsty for information about the opposite sex, reference materials were scarce. Open and honest discussion about sex and sexual activity between consenting adults was unheard of. Today we have a fantastic opportunity to share experiences of a very private and personal nature in the forums of Cerb. I hope others feel comfortable enough to share their views and experiences. I'd hate to think that, even here, the remenants of an era long past might try to suppress or dissuade open exchanges between adults. Which, BTW, I do not think was Emily's motive. As to the assertion that individuals will use the posts here as a road map to be followed religiously when they next find themselves face to vagina, I also have to say "Really"? I think that is tantamount to saying violent TV makes kids violent, or sexual content will promote rape. It is an old argument that does not stand upto critical thinking, or to the research.
