Got to LOVE Monte Python! Decided, like many before me, this song will be played as the 6 carry me out to the hearse. So to my friends and those who have followed this journey over the past 2 years, the journey is basically at an end. I am getting moved to Kitchener area on Friday to a respite facility where the pain will be medicated stronger than can be done at home. My memory took a rapid turn for the worse on the weekend, and I passed out from pain a couple of times. Probably have no more than 10 - 20 days max before my ashes go onto the driveway....I mean golf course! KW is closer to most of the family and it will make it easier on them. I have had a lucid day and a half, where I sent personalized notes of thanx to some of the very special people I have met, had decidedly naughty conversations with and with those who I have not been able to visit. I am sure I have missed quite a few, and I apologize to them. sigh, so many camel toes and just not enough time!!!!! I have sent a note to organ transplant folks to use my tongue in case anyone wants it. I want to thank you all again for all for the notes and emails sent, it helped me get through the shitty days and I really appreciated it. If I am not too drugged tonight, I will try and get on chat. This is just my perspective- if this is happening with more than one person then it could possibly be a dishonest way of getting more $$ for the allotted time. I believe a responsible and respectful person would have returned the extra amount without you having to bring it up. I would also want to know the reason. An explanation should be given even if it's vague. There was an agreement, it was followed through on your end, the other end erred and it may not have been something in that persons control, either way, it is for them to make up the difference.

I think you need to familiarize yourself with the new laws as services are not permitted to be discussed here.

Trust has to be established before any meeting and if you don't want to provide your number we don't have to visit. Honestly, you need to be proactive about your own sexual health and know what tests are available to you and ask for them. Personally, I've had to argue with one of the nurses at the sexual health clinic for an HIV test because they deemed me "low risk" due to condom use and did not want to include blood tests -- just the urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Know what tests you want included and check with the nurse/doctor to be sure they're including them on the requisition. In Ontario, this is what a general requisition looks like. All of the test codes are on the back of the form, which gives you an idea of what public health can test for (HIV testing is a separate form).

That was illegal before the current legislation and still is now. That is solicitation. In short, the answer is no.

First let me say I do not think this situation should have ever occurred. And I am posting this months and months after it happened because I do understand the rules here and am not about to identify the person in question or even confirm if said person is a member or not. But I am curious from a ladies perspective as to how I could have handled it. Because this has bothered me for a long time because I feel my good nature was taken advantage of. Now donation is on the table and so I left it there and proceeded to partake of my companionship time however I feel some advance notice of such a change should have been given. I did not want to adjust the donation amount and look cheap but on the other hand it was a hefty amount I donated extra for what was now no longer happening. I feel in fairness the opsie should have been mentioned at the very least when I confirmed I had arrived and certainly before I had placed the envelope on the table. And the extra was the very reason I choose this particular companion over say a different companion. And I know the rules here. However there needs to be some accountability from both sides. In talking to a good buddy of mine this exact same thing happened to him with the exact same lady.

I'm kind of nervous actually. In 2008, we saw a big correction in the markets, and while unemployment went up, house prices just kept growing as well. That was not the case in US. Since then, house prices in the Toronto area, Vancouver, and some other big Canadian cities have reached beyond unaffordable, there is a report that Canadian house prices are overpriced by 60% (although we've been talking about a price correction for a while, so I don't know if it'll happen this year). If I didn't already own, I don't know what I would have done to buy one now. My place has doubled in price since owning it, and had I bought it brand new, it would be nearly 3-4 times the initial asking price. All this in a matter of 12-15 years. With the market growing the rate it has since 2009, being 6 years, I'm starting to get nervous. Canada's exchange is 25% finance, 20% oil and gas. That's a huge reliance on just two industries. With oil prices in a free fall, and the cost of production in Canada at ~$70-80 a barrel (from what I heard), I don't know how any of this is good for us in the near future. There will be layoffs, I think we've already started to see some of that. Many of these jobs are very high paying, and while it probably hurts Alberta more then any other provinces, I'm wondering what will happen elsewhere. I also don't completely know how yesterday's rate cut will affect finances in the long term. Even though yesterday I made more in one day then I ever have before. Perhaps I'm being massively pessimistic.

I believe there is a Liberal statement that specifically says that C36 is not supported, i.e. so that does tell you what Trudeau/Liberals think about C36. Many people are saying that NDP and Libs "must' come up with an alternative, or some such nonsense. They do not. Not doing any new laws is taking a stand, that these parties accept the SCC ruling that overturned those 3 clauses in the existing laws, and also means that they accept that the remaining laws are more than sufficient to deal with the issue of prostitution. The point of the SCC ruling wasn't to bring in replacement laws, it was to remove damaging laws. The rest of the laws cover all of the issues the Cons, the antis, and C36 supporters say were lacking in the existing laws. In other words, the govmint lied to you. :)

I've had this happen to me before when I was outside a hotel I was staying at in Toronto one time waiting for valet to bring my car around.
