I have to side with Phaedrus here in that I think, as poorly articulated as the discussion was begun, there is nothing inherently wrong with discussing rates. Discussion isn't negotiation. Understanding the economics of this industry can be informative for those who haven't stopped to think about it, or haven't considered all aspects of the topic. Asking why rates are what they are does not *have* to imply that you are suggesting those rates should change. But, articulating the question crudely can do just that. Clients DO have the right to question what they are paying for. They are not guaranteed to be entitled to an answer, and that needs to be accepted. That's because the ladies DO have the right to charge as they see fit; anybody who doesn't think it's understandable that a woman is in charge of defining the price tag she places on sharing her most intimate self with someone else needs to reevaluate more than just what they are doing asking these questions. Simply put, anybody can charge whatever they want for whatever they want, whether it's an intimate encounter, a car, a cauliflower or a cup of pens. That doesn't mean that they should feel entitled to everyone accepting those prices either. If people do, then, by definition, the market has tolerated the price of their commodity. It's been said again and again, choose the provider that fits your budget. It sounds trite, but it's still the most direct answer you'll ever get. The rest is all details that won't change a single thing.

I meet my most regular provider quite near a police station. They don't care. They have bigger fish to fry than us.

I know of a few hotels near the police station in Saint John, and they are all high end hotels. Not sure about the other cities, but if in SJ, don't worry. Its funny, when I book a hotel, the last thing I worry about is "is there a police station nearby". I look at parking, door access, quality of hotel etc. Yes, I feel you are over thinking this. Go and enjoy.

Your original post clearly indicated that based on your opinion paying more than $240/$260 for a hour with a lady in this industry was not good value for YOUR money ... fine you are entitled to your opinion but let's face it your approach to expressing that opinion clearly took a swipe at ladies who charge more and frankly that undertone is clearly articulated in your "golddigger" comment... no wonder you place such a low value on spending time with these ladies you have such a low opinion of their character. You may not agree with their business approach and you may think that they are not worth the money they are charging but how about at least showing some respect for them as people... they like you and I are going about their lives trying to support themselves and their families. What's the outcome you are looking for from your post??... it appears you have a very strong opinion about what ladies should charge... what their expenses should be... and every other facet of THEIR business. Let's get real the majority of the ladies in this industry work extremely hard to make a living... you have heard several of the ladies outline their expenses and frankly very few leave this industry rich... sure it pays for school or supports their family or allows them some extras that their regular job does not allow for. The professional ladies in this business have made a choice to take control of their own employment... to decide for themselves how they work and when they work... they offer a very personal and intimate service to us men so of course they should be free to decide what they want to charge you or I or any other guy for that matter does not have to agree with that price... they can make a different choice that reflects their personal situation. Discussing SP or MA rates in public is just rude. We do not have to justify our rates. Too expensive? Shake it off, and pass to the next.

All I can say is money......well.......spent. They were both very accommodating and we had a few laughs. Would definitely see them again and recommend them. Watching the two of then work their magic was terrific. Also, Cleo has the nicest set of &$)@ I may have seen in my entire life. Two enthusiastic thumbs way up. The duo is worth it.

Saint John used to be one of my favourite cities to visit . That was 3-4 years ago. It has slowly declined and I now have only two gentlemen that I know will visit me if at all possible. Is it the economy ? Perhaps . However that should not remove manners. No shows and no calls are the norm in Saint John where it used to be the exception. I get many random requests, " when are you visiting Saint John again?" Then I visit and no call or request ? At least I am not alone .

While I have some problems with the way the OP asked his question I think I agree with Phaedrus that some benefit can come out of the dialogue in terms of helping people understand more about what's involved in working in this industry and that there is a lot more to it than just showing up for an hour. Additionally reminding ourselves that regardless of what the rate of compensation is people deserve to be treated with respect for the choices they make for themselves is important. Just my Opinion

Waking up this morning to four text messages from a very hot friend, who says she misses me!

You think 350 is lots, lol, but again that is here in Canada. Guess you might think I'm crazy than, seeing a Companion in the USA and her rates are 600.00 an hour, I booked her, but not for an hour but a overnight together. (Her longer bookings is less than a her hourly rate) Can you imagine with the CDN AND USD exchange rate what that might of been? The answer is quite easy : BECAUSE THEY CAN :) it is their choice, their business. I've also met many ladies (MA's or SP's) and there was/is always a variance in rates, but that is choice, and we as gents have a choice, just make yours a wise choice that is within your monetary and budget. Oh and has nothing to do with if she thinks she is worth more at a higher rate, it is her CHOICE. ;) She may want to only see gents for longer engagements or only one to two gents a day, so rates are a little higher. I like the ladies that stay away from drama,they are the ladies that just might have higher rates, and are not constant complainers, on how telling us gents through media,boards constantly how we should behave for appointments. When I see that much negativity coming from same group of ladies, I just don't communicate with them. Life is suppose to be positive, and upbeat, not negative and constant lecturing, I'm an older guy and I prefer the ladies that act positive, upbeat and keep me smiling. What you did was not cool at all & You say you have been on here for six years....No offence but you should know the site rules and know that calling out or bashing women on this site is a Huge No No! We as SP's Or MA's have every right to set our rates as we please... & most seem to all be around the same ballpark in rates. Of course there will be some who charge a higher rate and that is okay. Always find it interesting when someone posts - URGENT. Yes, if you are going to TOFTT, and want to see her NOW, it would seem urgent. However, there are so many ladies in your area that are well reviewed, why not start there? URGENT in my opinion is for 911 - heart attack, stroke, car accident. Slow down, read and go from there. It will save you in the end. I know nothing about this ad, just seems like you are rushing into things when its not really necessary.

Why is cauliflower so expensive this year... why has the price of oil fluctuated so much... Why oh why are there not standardized pricing for all the things we buy.... perhaps the government should step in and impose some form of price controls on all products and services so as to ensure that the appropriate value is placed on everything.... ahhhh but wait there is the rub... not everyone agrees on the value of everything it would appear that individuals in fact do have the ability to determine for themselves what value they place on certain goods or services and remarkably the free market tends to be a pretty good way for that willing seller and willing purchaser to connect and carry out that business transaction. If the buyer feels they are no getting appropriate value for their money they decline to purchase and if the seller feels they are not getting paid enought to cover the value of th good or service being sold they don't sell it... pretty simple when you think about it. I have never been a seller in this particular market but I like to kid myself into thinking that the reason for that is the fact that the market would not pay the enormous value I place on myself when in fact the reality is there is no market for a 55 year old, over weight married guy in this industry lol OFGILF But what I have learned over the years is that if a lady Is selling a service as intimate as what we are discussing (hypotheticly of course given our current laws) then the only person who really needs to be 100% comfortable in the valuation is HER... if I as the client have a problem with the valuation I can just move along she has to live with it. As for the general concept of value for money in this industry I have a a distinct pleasure of meeting ladies who provide service at most of the various price points and frankly while I have seldom been disapointed... I am always fealt that I kinda get what I pay for and as a result the majority of my repeat encounters have been at the higher price point so I guess that suggests to me that I see Value in the money I am spending. Why? Why not. Why did you choose 300$ + ? Why didn't you start, let's say, at 500$ + ? You are not to ignore that in some "high spheres of society" some people would smile at your question. For some people, 100$ is a lot. For other people 5000$ is nothing. This is relative. Does a higher price guarantee that you will have a "better service"? No. And what does "better service" mean to you? If what a lady charges is too much for your budget, as suggested by previous members, move on or wait until you can afford a visit. If all communication is done politely with respect on both sides, nobody will be hurt in the process. CLASSIFIED ADS - EDIT THEM OR LOOSE THEM! UPDATE BEFORE NOVEMBER 25th !! I noticed a LOT of classified ads still advertising things that are going to now be illegal. You either have to remove anything from the ads that is now illegal for us to advertise for you or we will need to delete your ad completely. If you previously offered prostitution related services you must remove such things (or hints of such things) from this site. I will NOT edit the ads (that would take too long) so I am going to go over them and start deleting any that DO NOT comply with the new laws. I will check to see if you have read this post and if you have and did not bother to update your classified ad you will get a infraction and possibly a suspension from the site. Leaving the classified up makes more work for me. I am very busy making sure the site conforms to all the new laws so it can continue on for you all. Please do your part. After a year off Lipitor, feeling much better. You can do better by exercising more and eating healthier. the risk from taking Lipitor for some people is far worst then having high cholesterol.
