I would agree with the last several postings on this thread. This is a very Canadian website and should remain exactly as it is today. Are there others here who seem to be having an issue with a bunch of enquires who suddenly think we somehow have changed our screening methods, services, rates? Leolist so far and VIPfavours as Hukupp stated are my two favourites. There are lots of good things about both. I like the way that Lyla operates now. As others said, the board should remain unique as is it now. The only thing I've noticed is a decline in participation on lyla since end of 2014. A lot of people have left after the board changed because of the new laws. I understand why the owners had to protect themselves but the laws have changed things with censorship of words. That was the feedback given back to me from the clients I had met from here. They wanted to read reviews that were positive but with more details given. I'm not sure how it could be done but I remember Lyla a few years ago and there was a great community spirit along with participation. If this site were to become just like the others or an "us v.s. them type of mentality then it's goodbye for me. There are other boards out there like that already and we don't need another one. We need to keep Lyla a place where everyone feels welcome.

I don't know if we're looking at things the right way. If the purpose of the study is to see if sex workers are aroused differently than other women, it wouldn't make sense for them to ask any other woman to participate. The study would probably use a few non sex workers also, as a "control" group, a group to compare sex workers to, to see how different we actually are. I don't really see much wrong with this. Grad students in universities across the world are trying to answer different types of questions about different types of issues, and in this one instance it happens to be about sex workers. I'm fine with that. I get how just a Gmail address can throw someone off but being a university student who has participated in these things before, I know that once you do email the poster they actually provide a lot of information. Even if you don't want to participate I think it might be a great idea to email the poster of the study and ask some of the questions you asked before we draw too many conclusions.
