Heaven as described in the bible is the location of the throne of God as well as the holy angels. Well tonight I didn't see any God but plenty of Goddesses and the holy angels as well. This was Barbarellas at 340 Queen street not a distance spiritual place up there somewhere in the universe. The very popular Jenny is back as a waitress/bartender!!! Soon after arrival I was greeted by the first Goddess. Yes I was very nicely surprised to see our very popular Jenny. She approached me from a distance with her very friendly smiling beautiful face. She was working as the waitress tonight. r__d and thousands of Jenny fans would love to read this that she will be working at the bar at Barbarellas as bartender soon likely in the evenings so you can sit at the bar and talk to her for hours as many patrons do. I was also very happy that she will be working at Barbarellas again as she would be an absolute great addition to an already great bar. I asked for her permission if I can convey this very good news on this board and she gracefully granted that permission. As the stage dancing was underway I sat next to stage (yes Barbarellas is like home to me and so friendly that I feel I am among my family and long time friends) and was the only one at stage watching all these angels on stage. I had private dances with the following angels tonight. Layla the Arab princess (on stage and Champagne room). She has been reviewed before. Harley with love from Russia. The beautiful sweet Russian on stage first and she was my first angel tonight in the Champagne room. She said that the owner at Barbarellas is a nice person and treat ladies very well. Harley is here only 4 more weeks and this angel will fly away from Ottawa. See her now and as much as you can or you will never get the chance again. She dances on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Phoenix half Persian princess/Goddess - As Harley was dancing for me in the CR I had my second big nice surprise of the night. I saw the very popular Phoenix walked in!!!!. Wow you are so right Cato as always She must have descended from heaven. She has the cutest face. Being of mixed race make her so unique and cute and she is so so friendly, Needless to say that i had private dances with her. She appeared genuinely happy to see me after more than a year and said next time she misses me she comes on a Saturday (usually she is not working Saturdays). Then Samantha the Greek goddess. Yes the lovely young fair skinned brunette. She was with her regular and kept on going into Champagne room with this regular however she did find to time to come over as I was sitting next to stage for a hug and Kiss. Havana, with love from Cuba!!!! Then I noticed a very cute young girl standing at the DJ booth. I signaled her to come over. She came over smiling oh yeah she was the very famous Havana from Cuba (I think I read heavenly posts about her on the other board and people asking about her over there now I see why. A very fair skinned and kind of spinner and a very sexy body with very cute small pair of boob and cute face. She went on stage first (and so did I in her third song) and then I had a large number of private dances with her. She gave me the web site for a place in Cuba to visit. My other favorite beautiful brunette Kitty Kat was not there but she will be there next Saturday daytime. So Kitty Kat lovers beware of the next Saturday angelic descend from heaven. Beautiful blondie, Sammie mostly dances Thursday and Friday evening which both are working days for me so I am exhausted. I also remember these ladies on stage: Sandra - A very small blonde looks very young and pretty. Sandy - A larger blonde and sexy lady Bianca - A sexy large blonde and pretty Katrina - A very pretty brunette and very friendly. She kept smiling at me while on stage and came over to hug and kiss after her stage dance for the small bill I put for her on stage. I can see now why she is so popular. She is so sexy pretty and friendly all at the same time. Between two to three dozen patrons at 11:30 and about a dozen and a half beautiful ladies there to show you gateway to heaven. When I left a crowd of patrons was also standing outside smoking so over three dozen and likely much more later. I was happy to see ladies were constantly going in and out of Champagne rooms making good money. Party like environment. Bouncer at the door opening the door for ladies and was very polite and never came inside the CR all the time I was there likely never. The place was clean and classy, ladies were friendly and classy and temperature comfortable though my blood was boiling and my heart pounding thanks to the angels at Barbarellas. It was also confirmed by one of the dancers that most of the chairs in the CR are not comfortable to dance on. So dear nice person owner please change the chairs. I had a great 4 hours at Barbs tonight. It feels like home. The staff are very friendly. Everyone is welcoming and nice. The ladies are most exotic. The environment is the best. No other bar or place anywhere on this universe can match Barbarellas for the beautiful, friendly ladies it has and the professional staff and friendly warm environment it offers. Long live Barbarellas and God bless the ladies who work there. Please support this bar and the angels who dance there as much as you can. It won't be there for long and you may regret later why you didn't drop by more often while it was still open. H & K

I'm wondering if some of us (and I'm definitely including myself here) just have a kind of nostalgia for 340 having attended so very many times over the years (indeed decades!) and as a result may have become less than completely objective in our preferences. Certainly H&K has a number of valid reasons (to him - and that's what matters) for his continued patronage of Barb's and careful readers of this forum will be aware that this gent also attends and opines regarding some of the other clubs discussed here. While I don't mean to be a defender of Barb's without reservation, I think it's fair to say that many, if not all, of the posters to this thread have not been altogether immune to the venue's charms as recently as late last year. Those who are concerned about some of the issues ("smile...you're on candid camera") raised more recently in other threads of course are entitled to their own preferences and choices. A number of us have noticed the slow deterioration of certain aspects of the 'decor' at 340 and I've certainly wondered if this is related to (to return to the initial topic of this thread) the eventual closing of the club. It's always difficult to watch an old friend go downhill. Suppose I really should have attended more recently before making this post, but I'm not sure my view would be much different. To be fair, my own outlook may well have been rose-tinted regarding this club as a result of my interest in an ATF dancer there. The anticipation of seeing a long-time fave may have compensated for a multitude of sins in the eyes of a bedazzled beholder. But now I'm succumbing to that nostagia again.

The afternoon buffet brought me back to Pigale (I switched from Barefax). I took my own advice and left Ottawa early at 3 instead of 3:30 and I was there at Pigale only 15 minutes later as opposed to 45 (what a difference half hour makes in traffic. It was quiet upon arrival. Seconds after my arrival as I was about to sit on a table I saw a friendly smiling face approaching with a hug. It was Tasha the sweetest with angelic face. I took my own advice and too her to Champagne room. She was great and I had fantastic time with her. They did have a number of stage dances between 3:30 to 6.00 pm. I remember seeing the following dancers on stage: Tasha (soon after the private dance she went on stage), Franchesca (this girl is popular for private dance not sure why), Kelly, Kylie, Gabrielle, Selina (she is pretty and very tanned from Barefax now here), Skyla, Ashley (Tall blonde), Natasha(blonde), Lacey, Bailey (tall tanned with glasses), Stacy (the short haired skinny snob), Candice (the new short brunette dancer), Jody (very fair skin and pretty) and a few others I can't remember. I also took Bailey to the CR. She is originally from New Brunswick moved to Ottawa. She is very friendly. Maybe too friendly for me. Recommended highly if you go for mileage but not my cup of tea. She said she was the daytime manager at Pigale last year and I saw her last Friday she was helping out Candice (the new short brunette dancer) with her own acquaintances. Wanted to take Stacy to CR too but she always walked alongside the path between DJ booth and the bar at the other end with her head up looking straight ahead. Regretfully she didn't make any money (she has to learn this is a strip bar not dance bar in approaching patrons) but her friend Candice was a faster learner and approached the patrons and made quite a bit today unlike last week. Good for her.

As I came from a long business trip, i decided to unwind at barbs, it's a great getaway. Had many dances with Harley a Russian beautiful blonde, also spoke with a maddy, she's one cute girl. But as I was almost out the door, Phoenix had walked in, I don't think I've seen her late on a Saturday night, she's absolutely stunning, great spinner body, gorgeous, smart, and fun to be with..boys watch out she had mentioned that she's going to be learning how to ride a bike, what a great image of her in a leather outfit.

Just my perspective. GFE, PSE etc. etc. are all terms defined in the mind of the person using them. They have no fixed meanings. Its not complicated and these terms don't really help in my view. The lady always decides what she will offer. The lady always decides how specific she will be in her advertisements and correspondence. (these days ads should not be specific, in my view) The lady always decides what she will charge. Client decides if he will pay that donation. When they meet nothing happens that is not with her full consent no matter what a website or ad says. Your hygiene, respect and behavior are the major factors in how she will interact with you. If the experience is satisfactory to the client then he may wish to repeat. If not then wish her well and seek someone that meets your needs/desires. Each interaction is unique. Accept that not all are going to work. Sorry, but in this business, yes do your research and find reliable ladies, but ultimately you have to take a chance too. She does on every first date. So I suggest that we abandon all these terms and realize that each provider is unique and focus on good direct communication with each unique provider.

I saw Natasha this afternoon and echo PyroPyotr. She is completely Indy and her spa area was immaculate. Nothing about being new means they can't make a website, an account here and post on various subjects, Twitter, blogs, knowing other providers.. Maybe someone can explain to me how seeing totally unknown new providers, who make no attempt whatsoever to look like a "real" provider trying to build up her name, is helpful to the industry? Yes, the new have to replace the old in any industry- but seeing fakes and getting scammed isn't supporting the new anyways, it's supporting the fakes and frauds, & I can't see how that could be helpful to any industry. I was a new provider once (as were and are many ladies here,) and the only thing that was really different were the amount of posts and reviews I have.. I emulated the successful women by making a website and having photos, etc. With a little research it was almost as easy to see I was genuine and cared about my business as it is now. Taking risks, (depending on the amount taken, luck and the outcomes of such) can work out fine, but it also has a high chance it won't and the clients doing so can start becoming bitter, jaded or even paranoid to the point that they interfere with our ability to screen for safety.. not to mention it can give them a negative view of the industry and other, more reputable providers. While this is obviously only my opinion and I could be totally wrong; men could be relentlessly undentable and able to be ripped off repeatedly without it ever changing their perception of the industry-- the things guys post when (and sometimes continue to post even long after,) they've been ripped off, swindled and cheated out of hard earned money, leads me to believe that this is not the case. I very much do want those who have never seen a provider before, are overly nervous or are worried about scary situations/being ripped off to know that this sort of situation doesn't have to happen and for some it never does. You can have an amazing time, a rewarding experience and just enjoy yourself without taking unnecessary risks. There are lots of amazing and genuine ladies out there and they're easier to find than it sometimes sounds! ;)

Was never crazy about the 'grand staircase' layout at the 'Fax. Much prefer the easier access at Barb's or the 'Mate.

Well stated comments. I agree with you completely bigalow as you are making very true fair and unbiased statement. I have come across rude dancers and lousy servers too in every bar including Barbarellas but since this is by nature a positive recommendation board (as far as I remember) then in my posts I ONLY reviewed the great ones. As an example there were almost two dozen dancers last night at Barbs but I mentioned less than a dozen and there were two servers and I mentioned one only. I was following the motto "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all". Evidently we have nice posters and rude posters too everywhere even on this board. I likely have more recommendation posts for Barefax than Barbs as that was my place between November to April and recently more on Pigale than barbs and I actually voted for Barefax to be the best club in NCR not Barbs and somehow I am accused of shill for Barbs!!!! Go figure.

A bar is like any other place . You will have great dancers, rude dancers, great servers, rude servers. Just look at the gov't offices, where I deal with a lot of rude people in my job and demand things on the spot and others understand the problems are not in my control, like the circle of death on your computer. Where you are waiting forever to get to the next page. I have met rude dancers at all the clubs and lousy servers at all the clubs, but I have also met great dancers and servers. You get great workers and bad workers in every job. The rude and bad servers do not last long in this type of work because they get less dances and less tips. A bad server can ruin a restaurant or bar.

Carpet cleaner broke down. Water and detergent were dispensed but there was no suction. $100 for repair. Oh I guess this is a thing that does not suck... but not in a good way.

I'm glad to see my complaint to management was seen and they finally added some bracing to the walls in the champagne rooms. It didn't take much, and now I don't feel like the whole thing is going to come down on me when I touch it.

From my experiences, here is what seems to be the price breakdown... - The "going rate" is around 120/half hour......200/full hour. - Some girls will offer shorter times.....usually around $100 for 20 mins or $60/80 for 10/15. Now, a lot of SP's frown upon offering these short times because the stigma of offering anything for $60 seems "gross". I do know these "$60 specials" are actually quite popular - but it is literally more work for the SP. My guess is there isn't much talking going on during these sessions, so there could be just as much sex taking place as would happen in a 30 min (or even an hour) session, but you are having wayyy more sex for the same money. There are also girls who offer 1/2 hour for $140 or $160, yet keep the hourly rate around $200. This makes less sense to me, as a client will be more likely to go for the hour session if it's only an additional $40-60. A lot of the girls from Quebec cost a tad more - usually $160-180 for 30 minutes and around $260-280 per hour....but these ladies usually offer a true GFE. The highest price I've seen per hour was Vandyl Vixen, but that included EVERYTHING (including video) except unprotected full sex....and I mean everything. There are some local girls who have rates in the high $200/$300 range - they offer a more complete GFE from what I hear. Mind you, there are a few girls who offer "full" GFE for the regular price (Kylie Jane, etc.). Beyond the base price, I see girls offering GFE for an additional cost and even PSE for a bit more - usually around $40-60 for GFE and another $40-60 for PSE. This is why some locals are in the high $200/300 range, they offer both GFE/PSE in their price. Some offer pics/video for an additional charge. I've seen pics offered for between $20-40 and vid for as low as $40 and as high as $200 (wayyyy too high, IMO). Now.....I have always thought a "sliding price scale" may work in escorting. In other words, the SP can have a sliding price scale, based on time...and visa versa. Basically, if a client asks about rates, the SP would simply ask how much they want to spend or how much time they want. I actually made up a chart for a friend a while back that used a mathematical formula to set the prices for basically ANY time between 15 minutes and up....and the prices are set based on the "...more time you want, the better the deal" theory. This way, if a client wanted say 24 minutes or 48 minutes, etc. - the SP would have an exact price for that amount of time; or, conversely, a client said they wanted to spend $180 or $205, the SP would have an exact amount of time you can get for that price. :) :) :)
