This is one of my first attempts of feeling my way around the new site. I have to say in almost 10 years of membership this is one of the most offensive questions / topics I have seen.

Love all these stories. For me, there have been a few ladies that complimented me on the shape I'm in for a guy in his 50's. One lady said she wanted to ask me for ID because she would swear I was in my early 30's. A lady once responded to a review gushing over how she loved my physique. Most can't believe that I've never set foot in a gym. The best one ever though, by far, was when a lovely lady (now retired from the biz) was travelling up my way on tour. I had pre-booked with her and was chatting with her in a chatroom a couple days before when she informed me that one of her oldest and dearest friends had passed away that week. I immediately offered to reschedule for another time or whatever she needed while trying to console her as she was very upset. She insisted on coming anyway and when she got settled in and I came to see her at her hotel, I entered and we hugged and I looked her in the eyes and simply asked,"are you alright?" She immediately burst into tears and gave me a huge hug and said, "You are the only one who has asked that simple question and that is why I went through with the decision to come here." I told her if she wanted that we could just lay in each other's arms and she said ,"Hell no, I really need to make love to you. You are a true friend and I just need to be with you to take my mind off it." That session was one of the most intense that I've ever had with an SP. Probably because of the emotional aspect, of course. She has since commented that she thinks of me as a sexier and more mature version of one of her old BFs. The two of us were always able to keep the professional side of this professional while becoming truly good friends. We still email back and forth once in a while to catch up and chat. She tells me of some of her wild escapades while asking about all the sexy ladies I've visited since she retired. Finding friendship in this is always a great compliment and I can honestly say that there are a few ladies that I feel are friends.

Hey Everyone, It's now been quite a while since we pushed the new version of the site, and everyone has had some time to get used to it and learn the tricks to this new system. When we first launched we had a thread that you could comment about what's missing, what's needed etc. and we used that to add or show you how to find those features as they may just be slightly different. What I'd like you to do now, is if you're now familiar with the site and you still feel something is missing, or something could really be used to make it more useful - please in as much detail as possible post that below. This will help us moving forward adding or improving the site - so we can get it where everyone is happy with it :). So last night I had the worst experience of my life. I drove 25 mins for an outcall that had been planned for a few days. I get there a few mins early so I text from the driveway. He tells me to come in. So I go to the door and he lets me in and is standing there staring at me funny. So I proceed in and take off my heels and we start walking across the kitchen and i turned to look at him for guidance for which direction and he comes right out and says rudely that I don’t look like my pictures? I was in shock as this is the first time this has happened to me in this situation. I have only had one other guy say this and he was looking to score a deal and stayed for the call even though at that point I didn’t even want to see him but I did. Anyways as I’m putting my shoes back on he was like I don’t want you to leave empty handed like he felt sorry for me. I was like take your money and shove it up your ass and have a wonderful night. Has anyone ever had an experience like this. I am the person in my pictures I don’t edit them only to watermark them and once in a while I have used filters for fun but other than that it is me. I also have reviews out there that verify who I am and that my pictures are accurate. How would you handle this situation? It really made me feel terrible and shook my confidence up. Not to mention made me feel like he was outright calling me a liar.

How about "Night Mode". So it is not so bright.

That's a good point, but we didn't switch this site over until July 20th, that means there was months before the change - so the change over has nothing to do with the Toronto section being dead - our hope is the change will revitalize the whole site - not just a section 🙂

The MOD/s is/are quite good at deleting what needs to be removed, but it takes time, they aren't sitting in front of a computer all day just waiting for posts to be flagged, they do have work to do. Just flag them and leave it, all of you who keep quoting the posts are just preserving it, the original posts are gone, but thanks to all of you who quoted them, everything the MOD deleted is still posted here in your replies, doesn't make much sense to report the post when you've preserved it for all posterity, use your brains please. The smart thing to do would be to remove the quoted sections from your own posts, the best attention is no attention at all.

Before he passed away, he asked that Trump not be invited to his funeral to give his eulogy. Instead, Bush and Obama were to be invited to show that he didn't harbour any ill-will towards them even though he was defeated by them in the party nomination and presidential race. He was a classy and decent man. RIP.

He was a man that devoted his entire adult life to his country, first as a USN aviator and then as a Congressman and a Senator. I thought he showed his true character while during a presidential campaign rally a man and woman made a very rude, racist comments about his opponent, Barack Obama. He could have fed the anti-Obama sentiments and used it to further his own political goals. Instead, he politely told the lady that she was wrong, Obama was a very good, honorable man who would make a good president, but he (McCain) would make a better president. A very classy and honorable man. If only there were more politicians like him in all parties and all countries. RIP Mr. McCain.

I've never completely understood the old "pictures aren't accurate" thing, tbh. I get that most guys are visual creatures by nature but even photos that aren't touched up or anything rarely are exact. Cameras have come a long way and selfies are all the rage and so on but depending on lighting and angles and all kinds of other factors, the real life in front of someone and the photo can have anywhere from subtle differences to things that are very different. I just don't see it as a deal breaker but again, I understand that some guys can be extremely specific in what they want or envision in an encounter. Having said that, perhaps he could have been more tactful and perhaps your reaction to his offer could have been less emotional but what's done is done. It's water under the bridge now. You probably should have accepted the offer and been compensated for your travel time but too late now. I guess this isn't much of an answer but chalk it up to experience and try not to take it too personally. Cheers and be safe out there.

I heard from a favourite dancer last week that Adrianna has quit. She left all of her stuff there as well.

This is it in a nutshell. I visit sp's in hotels all the time and there is no problems whatsoever. Lots of times, after our rendezvous, if the lady doesn't have other appointments booked or some such other commitment, I have taken her to dinner if she is okay with it. We walk together through the lobby and I would bet 99% of the staff knows her and why she is there. Actually, many ladies in this biz have a great working relationship with hotel staff. I have gone to hotels where the staff knows me also and walked by, waved hello and smiles back and forth and I'm pretty sure they can figure out why I'm there and I really don't care. Storm troopers aren't going to come and knock down the door. I think we all worry too much and it takes away from the fun. Just my 2 cents, tho.

Now see, as someone with a visual impairment, I find this look much easier to read. Funny how that works different for each person but for me, it is great. Accessibility feature included in this software (invision vrs vBulletin) is much better all around. At least in regards to updated software. Other board have not updated their software and therefore some of the accessibility features are just not there. These are things that work with different. browsers for people with disabilities.

Technology is under the hood, look and feel has nothing to do with technology used and new features. I think it would be better to keep it a little bit more consistent with previous appearance. It is now too plane and grey and difficult to read and navigate because of this. Look at this thread - the only Jessica's signature is something what looks attractive LOL And Lyla is practically dead in Toronto. I posted my last recommendation in March and it is still on the top of the list. Nobody posts in Toronto area. And I don't think new plain and gray site look will attract more new people.

I have been admiring Ysabelle's pictures since she posted her first album a few years ago and I always told myself that I have to meet her after reading stories that she posted on her website(in French only, I think). Well after last Friday my dream happened and I got to meet her and her friend Melissa at Ysabelle's place. Getting a hold of her was easy, she replied to my text promptly and her details were very good for the directions to her place. There is plenty of street parking in a quiet neighborhood. As I entered her apartment I noticed them both dressed in classic skirt and blouse like secretaries at the office and with high heels, they looked amazing, we introduced ourselves, shared a few kisses and I removed my boots. I had requested a shower because I had been working all day and it feels better to meet ladies when you are clean and smell fresh. On my way out of the bathroom with only the towel around my waist I'm directed in the room were all the fun happened, I'll keep this memory to myself but I will say that Ysabelle is a lady on the street but a freak in the sheets and so is Melissa. I had a wonderful time with both of these ladies and I would repeat again for sure. Ysabelle and Melissa get a Top Notch seal of approval from me.

Hmmm, I don't think so. I think that new people would have been scared off the old tech the site was running. More and more new new people are younger and use to higher levels of software and site usability with great UI experiences. If they can't have those, they don't bother. Lyla was pretty behind the times in the that regard. Now lyla offers features in away no other review board does.

I agree. I'm still struggling (even my 60 yo eyesight is challenged) but I'm getting there. Realistically it is astounding that the previous lyla format lasted as long as it did. I'm very fond of cerb/lyla as they were my introduction to this lifestyle and I'm committed to learning the new ropes.

Me too. Very clean looking. I use to struggle reading before because of a vision impairment. Making the site cleaner makes it more accessible for people like me with visual disablitilies. There are other accessibility features for others with different disabilities as well that older sites do not have because hey have not updated software.

I rather like the new look when I’m using it on my phone, at least so far 🙂

I second the go team lyla comment. Besides, many of us are coming in to help time to time. For heavens sake the other day somebody was freaking out at Mod about pictures when for the past few years other MAs And Providers all over the country could have screenshot from their phones or print-screen from the computer. I forget who it was nor do I care, but I know in my heart of hearts some people don’t even know about phone screenshots. The proof is in the way the discussion went. Anyway, everyone should chill out and let the powers that be do their stuff, and anyone who doesn’t like it, the exit door is close by. Be polite when asking for help, especially when the price is right.

Most answers will vary, but here's mine. I've been married for 25 years, and my wife is an awesome person whom I love. But. The simple fact for me is, she strongly dislikes sex, always has. We were each other's firsts, but she has some baggage which is ok, because life isn't perfect. Unfortunately, that translates into its been years for me since there has been physical intimacy. Escorts have been awesome for my marriage, because they have kept me from any desire to have an affair. It cures my physical needs, but there's no risk of falling in love. I understand more than you know about reservations and being known in circles. My response is a simple one... stick to established and reviewed ladies on Cerb. Literally, avoid Leoslist like the plague. Cerb ladies aren't going to mug you, blackmail you, threaten you, or bait and switch you. They don't have "managers", and you won't see them on Hollis street at 2 am. They're not dudes (surprise!) and you don't have to worry about them being drugged out on heroin. With Leoslist... not saying all are, but you're playing with fire. I'd definitely lay off them, until you get your, uh, feet wet and begin to understand the system and how things work, so you'll have a better chance of spotting red flags. As for the screening... these ladies are placing themselves in an exceptionally vulnerable position. You're probably physically larger than they are. Will you respect their limits? Will you stop if they say? Of course you will... they hope. I don't blame anyone in the slightest for being cautious. I'm not even talking about the scammers and time wasters, it's literally their physical safety. The Cerb ladies are not trying to be deliberately difficult, they're simply looking out for themselves. They're taking a *lot* bigger risk than you are, on a first encounter. How to protect yourself? For me personally, e-transfers is a no-go. If that's a pre-req, I move on. No one gets my banking information. Similarly, I would never pay by credit card or bank card. I usually leave my wallet safely tucked away, carrying a cheapo wallet that contains just the cash for my visit (and maybe $60-100 more). No DL, no credit cards, no Blockbuster membership. Even if it's a trusted lady, I don't want an oops and my wallet falling out of my pocket, etc. I personally would never host a lady at my house if my wife is away; either go to incall (my preferred) or rent a hotel room (paper trail again, though) Not that I don't trust the lady at my house, just again, neighbors, taxi drivers, and unneeded risk. Don't use your work phone to contact ladies. Always, always, always delete your text conversations afterwards. I've never even once had an issue about a Cerb lady contacting me via text or phone without me initiating contact. I have had a non Cerb provider text me with a "hey, I'm available this week if you are" which came as a... surprise. As for recommendations... there are a few threads recently about that. Lots of excellent Halifax ladies on Cerb. Go to the thread, start at A, and work your way through the alphabet :) Literally, its what I did when I arrived in town. If someone has lots of recommendations, that's a good sign. Also look who's doing the recommendations, make sure it's not a new member with like 3 posts. Make sure the recommendations are recent-ish as well, as the lady may have retired or moved. Then, the advanced class stuff... take your person's name, and do a search of her name in the Halifax thread. See what else comes up. Go on the lady's home page, see if she's been active lately. See if she has photo albums, and if you like what you see. Some names to get you started... in no particular order whatsoever... MsManda, Addictive Barbie (on break I think), Kylie Jane, MelanieMys, Katherine, HotCarpernterKitty, Lexy Grace, Danielle, Savannah Sol (on break). I'd have included Midnite Energies in there too but, dammit, she's not taking new clients (sad rawr!). I also personally would add Alayna Rose in there, though she's not as well reviewed or as particularly well known. TL;DR: if you're serious about visiting a provider, stick with established ones on this board. You're safer, and your going to have a better end result. Any screening done by the established ladies is for their safety, not to use against you. G'luck, shoot me a message if I can help.
